Shayna Baszler Set for TNA Wrestling Debut at Bound For Glory

Shayna Baszler is heading to TNA Wrestling, with the former WWE star set to make her promotional debut at this weekend’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view. Baszler will reunite with Zoey Serrano to challenge for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championships after the pair’s reunion was arranged on Thursday Night Impact.

The unexpected partnership came together after Serrano was confronted by reigning champions Allie and Kiera Hogan. The champions challenged Serrano to find a partner for a tag team match at Bound For Glory, putting the former WWE star in search of someone who could help her capture the gold.

Serrano didn’t have to look far, reaching out to her former teammate Baszler during a video call and asking her to join forces for the championship opportunity.

During the call, Serrano got straight to the point, explaining that Hogan and Allie had challenged her to a match for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.

She then asked Baszler to team with her, even jokingly offering to pay her for the favor.

Baszler wasn’t interested in taking money from her former teammate. Instead, she wanted to know when and where the match would take place, quickly agreeing to join Serrano for the title opportunity.

The conversation also highlighted the pair’s shared taste for an aggressive approach to wrestling. The two joked about dividing up the limbs they would break during the match, with Serrano suggesting they split the damage between them.

It was a brief but entertaining exchange that established their reunion ahead of one of TNA’s biggest events of the year.

Baszler and Serrano Have Previous Tag Team Experience

Although Baszler’s arrival in TNA may come as a surprise to some fans, she and Serrano are already familiar with working together.

The two recently teamed up at a RevPro event in England in July, where they picked up a victory over Myla Grace and Kanji.

Their history also stretches back to their time in WWE, when they were members of the Pure Fusion Collective faction alongside Sonya Deville.

Interestingly, Deville is also currently working with TNA, creating another connection between the promotion and the group’s former WWE members.

Baszler brings considerable experience to the partnership, having established herself as one of WWE’s most physically imposing performers. Her background in mixed martial arts and submission wrestling could make her a particularly dangerous addition to the Knockouts tag team division.

Can Baszler and Serrano Win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles?

Baszler’s debut immediately puts her in a championship match, giving her the chance to make a significant impact in TNA from the outset.

Former AEW Star Allie Reunites With Rosemary During TNA Impact Appearance

A familiar face made a surprising return on TNA Impact, as former AEW performer Allie — also known to many fans as The Bunny — showed up in a backstage segment alongside longtime ally and rival Rosemary.

Allie previously spent several years in TNA from 2013 to 2019, where she became a prominent figure in the Knockouts division. During that run, she captured the TNA Knockouts Championship twice and shared a memorable on-screen history with Rosemary, alternating between partners and adversaries.

Her original run in the promotion came to a dramatic end when her character was written off television in a storyline where she died in Rosemary’s arms. Not long after, Allie resurfaced in AEW, debuting under the name The Bunny.

While in AEW, she aligned with The Butcher and The Blade, frequently acting as their manager while also competing in the ring herself. She later formed a tag team with Penelope Ford before eventually departing the company in 2023.

In recent months, Allie has been gradually making her way back into the wrestling world. She began training for an in-ring return last year and even appeared at Border Brawl as the coach for Team Canada. Not long after, she officially returned to action at Evil Uno’s Mystery Wrestling event, teaming with Penelope Ford.

Hints about a potential TNA return started circulating recently thanks to Raven, who posted a photo on social media showing himself, Allie, and Rosemary together at a TNA taping, sparking speculation among fans.

On this week’s episode of TNA Impact, that tease paid off when Allie appeared in a backstage segment involving Rosemary, who has been involved in a series of mysterious and cryptic interactions lately.

Just before Allie’s cameo, Rosemary was shown speaking with Johnny Swinger. In a comedic moment, Swinger noticed someone walking by in a bunny costume and jokingly referred to the figure as the “Gobbledy Gooker.”

With Allie now back in the TNA universe — and once again crossing paths with Rosemary — it looks like the promotion may be revisiting one of its most unique and supernatural storylines. Fans will be watching closely to see what role The Bunny plays next.

Former AEW Star Allie (The Bunny) Announces Return to Wrestling Training After Two-Year Hiatus

A familiar face from AEW and IMPACT Wrestling is lacing up the boots once again. Allie—known to AEW fans as The Bunny—revealed on social media that she’s officially returned to wrestling training after two years away from the business.

Allie’s last appearance inside the squared circle came on the September 6, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, where she teamed with Anna Jay and Taya Valkyrie in trios action against Hikaru Shida, Skye Blue, and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. Shortly after that match, Allie stepped away from AEW and professional wrestling entirely.

In a heartfelt video posted to Instagram, Allie opened up about her time away, admitting she had completely disconnected from the industry:

“Not only did I not have a match but I hadn’t trained, I hadn’t bumped, I hadn’t been in wrestling at all for quite a long time. Maybe the last couple months, I started feeling like I really missed it in a way that I honestly didn’t expect.”

During her time in AEW, Allie carved out a niche as one of the company’s most versatile women’s performers, transitioning from her darker “Bunny” persona to more traditional roles depending on the story. Prior to that, she enjoyed a successful stint in IMPACT Wrestling, where she captured the Knockouts Championship and became a cornerstone of the women’s division.

The Bunny Departs From AEW

The Bunny is reportedly gone from All Elite Wrestling.

After fans noticed The Bunny was removed from AEW’s official online roster, speculation picked up that she was gone from the company. Mike Johnson of PWInsider has since reported that the two sides mutually agreed to part ways, although more details are not known at this time.

AEW has quietly released talent in the past with no official statement until the talent comes forward with the news or AEW President Tony Khan is directly asked. Such was the case more recently for Sonny Kiss, whose contract was not renewed earlier this fall after largely being inactive on AEW’s flagship shows in recent years.

The Bunny, formerly known as Cherry Bomb and Allie, joined AEW in 2019 following a run with Impact Wrestling. The Bunny was one of AEW’s first signings as she competed at the first Fyter Fest, Fight for the Fallen, and All Out pay-per-views. She initially competed under the name of Allie until early 2021 when she introduced her gimmick change and officially aligned with The Butcher and The Blade.

The Bunny also formed a partnership with Penelope Ford in 2021 as the two feuded with Anna Jay and Tay Melo, culminating in a brutal Street Fight that aired on the New Year’s Smash edition of “AEW Rampage.” She only had three AEW matches in 2023, suffering two singles losses to Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker. Her last match took place on “Rampage” in September as she teamed with Anna Jay and Taya Valkyrie in defeat to Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Skye Blue.

AEW Signs Former Impact Knockouts Champion Allie, News On Title Belt Design

On the latest Road to Double or Nothing it was announced former Impact Knockouts Champion Allie has signed with AEW. The above video features Allie meeting with Brandi Rhodes and getting ideas for her new wrestling gear with former WWE seamstress, Sandra Gray.

Allie spoke about how she first got into wrestling and how she’s looking forward to working with All Elite Wrestling.

“Going forward, I really want to make my mark here at AEW,” Allie said. “I feel like even though I’ve had those opportunities, I feel like now I really want to show people what I can do and I don’t know if I had that chance before.”

Allie originally appeared in Impact back in 2013 and signed a contract with them in 2016. Allie has already finished up with Impact Wrestling, according to PWInsider. Allie’s last appearance will air on tomorrow’s episode of Impact. The report stated she knew back in January the company wouldn’t be renewing her deal as they look to refresh the roster. Allie was said to be well liked and ended up keeping the news mostly to herself, so when yesterday’s signing broke that would be when many in Impact were made aware of her exit.

The video below also showed Brandi talking about the design for a new AEW championship title. She noted it will be as large as the Mid-South North American Championship. They are looking to make it unique to AEW, but the size will be in the same ballpark, below is a photo of what the Mid-South North American Championship looked like.

NXT Signee Kimber Lee Gets New Name

NXT Signee Kimber Lee has been given a new name.

Kimber will now be known as Abbey Laith, as she changed her Twitter handle/name on Wednesday to make it official. She also tweeted saying, “Well guys….. there’s been a change.”

While her personal site still links back to the old moniker, everything else is reflective of Laith.

Abbey signed with WWE earlier this year along with Ruby Riot. She had been recently been using her real name Kimberly Frankele on shows, but it appears Laith is the permanent name going forward.

Laith is expected to be apart of the first ever Mae Young Classic.

On the independent scene, known as Kimber Lee, she teamed with current Impact Wrestling Star Allie (Cherry Bomb). They was known as The Kimber Bombs.
