Kevin Nash Shares How His Christian Faith Has Guided Him Through Life’s Hardest Moments

On the September 12 episode of his Kliq This podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash spoke openly about his faith, revealing how his return to Christianity helped him through the painful losses of both his mother and his son, Tristen.

Nash explained that after drifting away at different points in his life, he always found peace when he turned control back over to God.

“Anytime I’m at the wheel, my life’s rough,” Nash admitted. “Anytime I hand the wheel over, my life seems perfect.”

The two-time Hall of Famer said he first reembraced his faith when his mother passed away, and once again after losing Tristen. He shared that a message written by his son before his passing strengthened his commitment to hold on to God, even in heartbreak.

“She [my mom] had a relationship with Christ again and went full circle,” Nash reflected, explaining how that same faith has carried him as well.

At 66, Nash says he refuses to let negativity take root in his life and instead focuses on living with perspective and purpose.

The former WWE Champion also pointed to how faith has transformed others in wrestling, recalling how Shawn Michaels’ decision to follow Christ changed his life and marriage. He also mentioned Sting and Lex Luger as men whose lives were deeply impacted by their own spiritual journeys.

For Nash, faith isn’t just something he speaks about — it’s what continues to guide him through grief, shape his outlook, and give him strength for the days ahead.

WWE Hall Of Famer Says He’s Prohibited From Attending Sting’s Final Match In AEW

Sting’s legendary career will officially come to a close at this year’s AEW Revolution, which will place in less than two weeks. While many expect “The Icon’s” old rivals and allies to appear at the event, Kevin Nash has confirmed he will unfortunately not be able to attend during a recent episode of “Kliq This.”

According to Nash, Sting had approached him and asked him to make some kind of appearance, but due to his obligations to WWE, it’s not possible. “He asked me to be a part of it, I just said that … you know, with my positioning with WWE I couldn’t -– I couldn’t even be … If I went in the crowd, it would be … you know?”

Nash noted that both he and Sting were disappointed by the outcome and expressed that he believes their close friendship is why “The Icon” wanted him there. “I think he wanted me to be there because I was just one of the guys who has been there with him the whole run. Yeah, I think he was disappointed. I mean, I was disappointed,” said Nash.

While he was ultimately forbidden from attending, he claimed that he first approached WWE before giving Sting his answer. “I asked [WWE] –- you know when you ask and there’s that three-second pause? It’s like when you be on the road and you’re like, ‘Hey babe? We’re at Fort Wayne, I’m gonna go to Stewie’s Strip Joint, you got a problem with that?’ Nothing.”

Sting, who is the current AEW World Tag Team Champion alongside Darby Allin, will defend the titles against The Young Bucks at Revolution on March 3 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Police Did Wellness Check On Kevin Nash After Troubling Podcast Comments

On a recent episode of the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash worried fans when he mentioned how it’s been 12 weeks since the death of his son Tristen and it’s been rough for him.

“Today is week 12 that I lost my boy. Time flies when you got a gun in your mouth. I mean, time flies when you’re having fun,” Nash stated.

Sean Oliver told Nash that he should not joke around about things like that. Nash, who is a gun owner, then responded, “I can do whatever the f**k I wanna do. Long as I leave a note.”

TMZ is reporting that police did a wellness check on Nash after his troubling comments on his podcast this week, and Nash told them that he had no intention to follow through on what he said on his podcast.

Scott Hall Update: Kevin Nash Confirms Heartbreaking News That Hall To Be Taken Off Life Support

Horrible news regarding the health of Scott Hall broke over the weekend. It was revealed that The Bad Guy was on life support after suffering three heart attacks. Hall underwent hip surgery last week, and it appears the heart attacks were caused by a blood clot coming loose. The entire wrestling world has been collectively pulling for Hall to kick out ever since, hoping the next information we heard about him would be good news.

Sadly, that has not been the case. Kevin Nash has posted an update on Hall’s condition, and it’s the worst-case scenario everyone was hoping we wouldn’t have to hear. Nash revealed in a lengthy and heartbreaking Instagram post that when Hall’s family is in place, they will make the decision to discontinue life support.

“Scott’s on life support. Once his family is in place they will discontinue life support. I’m going to lose the one person on this planet I’ve spent more of my life with than anyone else,” Nash wrote on Instagram. “I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to prepare my life without him.”

Nash goes on to summarize some moments he and Hall have shared together in the business, kicking off with when the two of them left WWE and signed with WCW. A move that would change the business forever in so many ways as it lead to the formation of the nWo shortly after.

Nash continues on, saving some of the most emotional parts of his message for the very end. “As we prepare for life without him just remember there goes a great guy you ain’t going to see another one like him again. See Ya down the road Scott. I couldn’t love a human being any more than I do you.”

Truly awful news and our hearts go out to Nash, Hall, his family and friends at this time.
