We’ve been promoting this huge interview with The Chosen One, Jeff Jarrett. Jeff and Ed Boston talk about numerous topics including the big announcement of Jeff being included in the class of 2018 WWE Hall of Fame, Jeff being a 3rd generation wrestler and how this announcement is a family recognition, and how his faith has helped sustain him during the ups and downs of life.

PWInsider reports that Billy Corgan’s company Lightning One Inc, which owns everything related to the NWA after Corgan bought it last year, now has the trademark as well. The National Wrestling Alliance trademark was officially registered to Lightning One.
Corgan and NWA Vice President Dave Lagana have been trying to create an audience and restore credibility to the NWA title with their “Ten Pounds of Gold” Youtube series. It has featured current champion Nick Aldis, former champion Tim Storm, Austin Idol and Josephus. It blends the history of the title and character-building while setting up in-ring matches. Aldis is currently on a “crusade” to defend the belt twenty times in sixty days. His next defense is against Tommy Dreamer at the House of Hardcore event on March 24 in Philadelphia.
Lightning One also filed a copyright for The Dumont Network, which once was a rival to ABC and CBS and was the first channel to air pro wrestling. It will likely be used to distribute the NWA online at some point.

The Young Bucks and Cody have finally announced the location of their upcoming “All In” event and Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned a wrestling podcast convention will be going down as well.
The self-financed event will take place on September 1 at the Sears Centre in Chicago, Illinois — which has a capacity of 11,800 people — the group announced on it on the latest episode of Being the Elite via “Arrow” star Stephen Amell.
According to sources, there will also be a wrestling podcast convention attached to the event that will feature live podcast sessions with many of the top names in wrestling podcasting, as well as legends signings and several official “weigh-ins” for “All In.”
Additional talent already announced for the event include: Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll, Hangman Page and Tessa Blanchard. Flip Gordon still isn’t booked (yet).
“All In” will take place on September 1st.

With rumors swirling that Rey Mysterio is on his way back to WWE, the legendary wrestler is reportedly injured.
Meltzer doesn’t know the injury’s extent other than Mysterio believes he tore the muscle during the match, where he teamed with Flip Gordon against Joey Mercury and Caleb Konley. According to those who saw Mysterio backstage after the bout, there was heavy swelling in his left arm.
As the match was going, Mysterio notified Mercury about the injury. Mercury was ready to call an audible on the finish, but Mysterio immediately set up a double 619 on his opponents before pinning Konley with a splash off the top rope.

Rey Mysterio did not appear at tonight’s 5 Star Wrestling event at the SSE Arena in Belfast, United Kingdom. He was replaced by Alberto El Patron. The reason given to the audience for Rey’s absence was that he had “an urgent family emergency in San Diego.”
Rey is scheduled to be a guest on Edge & Christian’s podcast this Friday. As noted, The Wrestling Observer reported this week that Rey is reportedly meeting with Triple H soon regarding a WWE return.
Rey’s upcoming dates include an upcoming CRASH Lucha Libre event on March 17th in Tijuana, as well as the March 25th NJPW event in Long Beach, California, where he will be facing the legendary Jushin “Thunder” Liger. Mysterio was also scheduled to appear at the upcoming CRASH event during WrestleMania weekend on Friday, April 6th, as seen here. Brock Lesnar met up with UFC President Dana White over the weekend while in Las Vegas. Rumors on a potential UFC return for Lesnar have been ramping up as of late because Lesnar’s current WWE contract expires after WrestleMania 34, where he will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns. White posted a photo of the two together, but has yet to elaborate on what they discussed.
Yesterday, Dana White appeared on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and at one point was asked about the chances of Lesnar returning to the UFC. White kept his answer positive, but brief.
“They’re very, very, very good.”
Lesnar’s last UFC fight was at UFC 200 back in July of 2016 where Lesnar defeated Mark Hunt by unanimous decision, which was later overturned. Failing a post-fight drug test for clomiphene, Lesnar was suspended for a year and fined $250k. In February of last year, Lesnar said he would be retiring from MMA. If he did decide to return, there’s still just over six months of his suspension that he would still have to fulfill.
Lesnar was scheduled to be at Monday’s Raw for a face-off with Roman Reigns, but that segment didn’t take place. He was featured in multiple Raw scripts that were done and his absence was acknowledged by Reigns during a segment he did by himself.
Lesnar is scheduled to defend against Kane at Saturday’s WWE live event in Chicago and is scheduled to return to WWE TV on the March 12 Raw from Detroit.

“Ultimate Beastmaster” on Netflix has announced that ex-WWE stars CM Punk and Stu Bennett(aka Wade Barrett) will be among the new hosts joining the show for season three.
Deadline first reported that a new season will air in 2018 and Punk tweeted afterward saying, “The Beast is back and I’ll be your host for Team USA along with the my co-host the awesome @TikiBarber! Don’t miss the most intense obstacle course in the world!!!!!”
For those who haven’t seen Beastmaster, the show is edited to be specific to each region participating — hence the local hosts who anchor their country’s version — however, we’re told there’s lots of interaction between all of them … so you’ll see some banter between the former Nexus leaders.
Bennett posted an announcement on social media as well with the caption, “*BREAKING NEWS* I’ll be hosting Netflix’s #UltimateBeastmaster S3 alongside @kate_abdo. #TeamUK.”

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar was scheduled to be at Monday’s RAW for a face off with Roman Reigns but that segment did not happen. Lesnar was featured in multiple RAW scripts that were done and his absence was acknowledged by Reigns during a segment he did by himself.
The script for last night’s show included a lengthy back and forth promo between Reigns, Paul Heyman and Lesnar, according to PWInsider. The segment was set to take place in the second hour of the show, reportedly with Lesnar calling Reigns a “b–ch.” A source added that there was no sign of Heyman or Lesnar in Anaheim, CA on Monday but as noted, we know that Lesnar was in Las Vegas on Sunday to meet with UFC President Dana White as White tweeted out a photo of the two. Lesnar did not visit the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view that was going on nearby.
PWInsider adds that Lesnar may have skipped RAW as a hardline way of negotiating with WWE as his contract is due to expire after WrestleMania 34, or it could be that WWE was upset with Lesnar and told him not to come to the show due to the photo with White. It should be noted that these two theories are pure speculation at this point.
