Hulk Hogan Being Erased From WWE History Over ‘Racial Tirade’

WWE has removed Hulk Hogan as a judge on Tough Enough and is erasing almost all mentions of him from their website after learning of a interview were Hogan launched into a “racial tirade.” Hogan is no longer listed as a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, his Superstar bio and merchandise has been removed and all references to current WWE Superstar Curtis Axel’s “Axelmania” gimmick has been removed.

The National Enquirer has released portions of a transcript submitted to the Florida court overseeing Hogan’s $100 million defamation case against Gawker Media. Hogan made the comments to Heather Clem, the woman who was married to Bubba the Love Sponge, the woman who Hogan was secretly filmed having sex with in 2012. Hogan was reportedly mad at his daughter Brooke, who he accused of sleeping with a black guy.

Here is some of the released transcript:

“I guess we’re all a little racist, ” Hogan said on the tape.

“She is making some real bad decisions now,” Hogan said, sources tell Radar Online and The Enquirer. “My daughter Brooke jumped sides on me. I spent $ 2-3 million on her music career, I’ve done everything like a jackass for her.”

Hogan continued, “The one option Brooke had, Brooke’s career besides me, is to [to] sell beach records.”

Hogan also talked about how a “black billionaire guy” had offered to fund Brooke’s music career.

“I don’t know if Brooke was f*cking the black guys son,” Hulk said.

“I mean, I don’t have double standards. I mean, I am a racist, to a point, f*cking n***ers. But then when it comes to nice people and sh*t, and whatever.”

According to their sources, Hogan also said, “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f*ck some n***er, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n***er worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. F*cking n***er.”

They also report that the transcripts have been filed in a Florida court, under seal, in a bid to prevent them from being publicly released. However, Radar, and The Enquirer’s extensive investigation reportedly uncovered five independent sources who provided the contents of the tape.

Shayna Baszler set to have first pro wrestling match

You read the headline right folks, The Queen of Spades is set to make her in-ring debut as a professional wrestler. The announcement came last Thursday when Shayna was a guest on the podcast MMA Jam session.

This however won’t be the first time Shayna Baszler has made some noise in the world of professional wrestling, earlier this year she managed ROH tag team reDRagon aiding them in victory against the young Bucks at ROH’s 13th Anniversary show. Then just a few weeks ago she made her presence known at ECCW’s Ballroom Brawl 4 When she laid a beating on goddess Mandy AND cost Nicole Matthews the titles in the main event triple threat ladder match.

This time though the MMA veteran will get to show the world what catch wrestling is all about as she takes on one of the biggest stars in the independent wrestling circuit Chearleader Melissa aka Melissa Anderson. Here is what Baszler had to say about the match:

Chearleader Melissa is a former Shimmer champion and a former TNA knockout where she competed  under the names Raisha Saeed and Allisa Flash.

Baszler and Melissa will main event on the night of September 26th 2015 for wrestling promotion QPW at the Evalyn community center in Reno Nevada.

As far as Baszler’s MMA career goes she has went on record to say that she is NOT done fighting and she will return to the cage in the future, but for now the queen of Spades is having some fun and living out one of her dreams.

As a fan and friend of Shayna’s I couldn’t be any happier for her and know that she’s going to take the wrestling world by storm.

I will be sure that I keep you all updated as to when tickets go on sale for this event so be sure to check our Twitter @WrestlingNewsbg regularly to stay in the loop. Now I’m not making it official BUT yours truly may be attending this event and if I do you can bet I’ll be bringing exclusive coverage so STAY TUNED!!!

The Revolution Begins

Nearly a week later and I’m still on a high about the happenings of Monday night Raw last week. Anyone who has been following this site for the past 3 years would know two things: I’m a huge WWE mark and I LOVE Women’s wrestling.
I’ve been watching the WWE ever since 1994, this year I turn 24 so that’s nearly all my life. As a WWE fan I’ve experienced the highs and lows, there’s been times where I’ve been down right ashamed to say “I watch the WWE” and there’s been other times where I’ve said “I’m FN proud to be a WWE fan. Last Monday was one of those nights.
If you haven’t guessed what segment I’m referring to let me catch you up to speed. For weeks on end The Bella’s and Alicia Fox have been tormenting Paige with 3 on 1 beatings and last week Stephanie McMahon had seen enough.
The segment started with Paige, The Bella’s, Fox and Stephanie all in the ring. Stephanie brings up the 3 on 1 attacks and mentions that all this time Paige has been alone and it’s time she got some help. Then out comes the Lass Kicker Becky Lynch!!!

“But wait” Stephanie says. “the numbers are still uneven,” then out comes genetically superior Charlotte!!!! This is followed by Naomi and Tamina making their way down the ramp. Naomi says that she won’t be forgotten about, but wait there’s only two of them, again making numbers uneven. Who could possibly side with Naomi and Tamina???? None other then the NXT women’s champion THE BOSS Sasha Banks!!!!

The ring is filled 9 amazing women wrestlers plus an Athority figure in Stephanie McMahon, that’s 10 women who have been changing the corse of women’s wrestling. Stephanie then goes on to say that this is an opportunity that their time is now and she wants to see who’s going to take it.
All the while the three teams are in an epic stare down to with the crowd erupts in a “this is awesome chant” Then a brawl breaks loose with all women gunning for one another and ultimately it ends with Sasha, Charlotte and Becky putting the i submissions (Bank statement, the figure 8, and the armbar) on The Bella’s and Alicia.
If you are a friend of mine on Facebook or at the very least follow my post you would’ve saw my status that said “I haven’t felt this way since Lita returned after being out a year and a half with a broken neck” AND I MENT IT.
For years the WWE has been producing underwhelming Women stroylines and then the good ones always get dropped way too soon or often become repetitive. This moment on Monday night Raw though showed that change is on the horizon and that the future is indeed now.
The response on social media has been all positive. The response that night was also proof that something was done right. From everything to the “this is awesome chants” to the huge pops each girl received. I mean it was so good that even Michael Cole used the term “women’s wrestling”

Mind you, living on the west coast and having time Warner cable I get a delayed Raw, so I knew what was going to happen AND I WAS STILL marking out and I even got the chills!
It was an awesome moment that myself along with fellow fans won’t forget for a long while. On Twitter Stephanie mentioned that women have been revolutionizing the world of sports and it was about time the WWE caught up. I couldn’t agree more and I believe that after this segment that door has swung wide open and these women are about to come rushing through it.
We used to live in a time where the women’s matches were used as bathroom breaks, but now that’s not the case. A meme on Facebook said it best: “Bathroom Break???, you better hold that sh**” I’m so thankful to Stephanie and Hunter for grabbing the bull by the horns, going against the grain and even agreeing to disagree with the all mighty Vince McMahon all to prove that women CAN carry a company, they CAN, put on stellar matches, they CAN get a crowd reaction and they DESERVE respect.
The future is a bright one and I am so damn excited.

Team 3D would Like To Return To WWE & Revitalize Tag Division

“Team 3D” Bully Ray and Devon recently did a interview with Sorts Illustrated’s Extra Mustard site to promote the upcoming House of Hardcore event in Toronto.

Team 3D talked about wanting to return to WWE:

Devon: “For us not to be back there, knowing that we’re in the best shape we’ve ever been in, I don’t understand it. We’re better now than we were ten or fifteen years ago. I understand that they want the future. But without the older generation that paved the way for these younger guys to come, you’re not going to have it. Wrestling is a lost art, so you need the older guys like us to help show the younger guys how it’s done. I don’t understand it, though I know it needs to be on their terms.”

Bully Ray: “Take the Dudley Boyz and put them back in WWE, and you’d add instant credibility to the tag division. The great thing about the Dudleys is we can work with any team and we can work any style. Not only will we help one team get over and learn and get better, but we can help all of them. It seems pretty simple to me – having the Dudleys back in WWE is best for business, so I don’t have a really great answer for why we are not there. Only they know. You would think the most decorated tag team in history of WWE would be able to go back into a company and breathe life into the tag division. It may never happen, but you never say never. It could be right around the corner.”
