The first trailer for “Fighting With My Family” has dropped and the upcoming movie about Paige’s family produced by The Rock shows a lot of “The People’s Champ” in the footage.

“In 2012 I watched a documentary about a young, unknown British female pro wrestler & her wonderfully crazy family,” The Rock wrote on Twitter while revealing the trailer. “I loved it! It was a story that my [Seven Bucks Productions] had to tell. That girl [Paige] would go on to help redefine [WWE] women’s wrestling.”

As we previously reported, Zelina Vega is playing the part of AJ Lee in the film and can be seen for a brief moment in the footage. There’s also a shot of NXT UK wrestler Dave Mastiff.

The film — which is set to be released in February 2019 — also stars Nick Frost as Paige’s dad, Lena Headey as her mom and Vince Vaughn as Hutch (a WWE talent scout).

Daniel Bryan Turns Heel, Wins WWE Championship

In a surprise end to SmackDown Live this week, Daniel Bryan defeated AJ Styles for the WWE Championship and will go on to face Brock Lesnar on Sunday at Survivor Series.

SmackDown kicked off with Styles cutting a promo about Lesnar. He was then interrupted by Paul Heyman and later Daniel Bryan. The two wrestlers ended the segment brawling and shortly after a main event title match was confirmed on commentary.

The match took place later in the night and ended after Daniel seemingly turned heel by hitting Styles with a low blow while the ref was knocked out to help him get the win.

After the match was over, he continued his attack on Styles.

Because Daniel is champion, he’s now been confirmed for the champion vs. champion match against Brock Lesnar on Sunday at Survivor Series — similar to last year when Styles defeated Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship.

Luke Harper has been written off TV since Eric Rowan went down with a biceps tear during their SmackDown Tag Team Title defense at Summerslam this past August. They dropped the tag team titles two days later to The New Day on SmackDown Live.

Harper has not appeared on television since, although he lost to North American Champion Ricochet at a few NXT house shows back in September.

WWE Raw To Reportedly No Longer Have An Overrun

According to Fightful, the days of WWE Monday Night Raw having an overrun past 11PM ET look to be over. The site reports that going forward, WWE Monday Night Raw has a hard “out” time of 11 PM ET, ending the overrun that the show has enjoyed since the 90s. This will reportedly start with next week’s show. The site adds that this is a change happening because of a directive from USA Network.
