Kurt Angle Reportedly Wrestling For WWE

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there are plans for Kurt Angle to do at least some wrestling for WWE in the near future. The 2017 WWE Hall of Famer will be inducted during WrestleMania 33 weekend but there’s no word yet on if he will get into the ring that weekend. The Observer notes that Angle still has to pass a physical and would likely be used on a very limited basis.

Angle recently spoke with Forbes and commented on possibly wrestling for WWE:

“I wouldn’t be surprised if I do a few more matches somewhere down the line, but they haven’t talked about it so it’s not official. This Hall of Fame thing is just the beginning, so let’s see how it goes and we’ll go from there.”

Jerry “The King” Lawler — The Reason I Still Wrestle Is … (VIDEO)

Those calling for Jerry Lawler to retire shouldn’t hold their breath — because The King says he got into this business to wrestle … not call matches on commentary.

Lawler was interviewed by Bill Apter and said, “I still love to climb in the ring as often as possible because, simply, that’s why I got into this business. I never started in this business thinking about being a commentator or doing announcing in wrestling matches, I got into this business to wrestle.”

He adds, “The commentating thing, about 24 years ago, just kinda fell in my lap.”

King reveals that he’ll be part of the WrestleMania festivities this year and surprisingly says he’s had over 100 matches since his on-air heart attack back in 2012.

Jerry continues, “Being active and doing wrestling and stuff is the best thing for your heart.”

Emmalina Repackage Nixed After Rehearsals Failed To Impress Backstage Officials

Image result for emmalina debut

There were big plans for the Emmalina character … but after multiple rehearsals, producers realized she couldn’t pull off what they were looking to accomplish.

Sources say Emmalina was intended to be a throwback to characters like Sable and The Kat — however, delays were caused after officials felt like she wasn’t committing enough to the role and ultimately they decided to just let Emma be evil again.

Producers are still big fans of the character’s concept though — which is why they held hope it would work out — so it’s always possible that they’ll hold onto it for another female in the future.

In case you missed it, Emmalina returned to RAW Monday night and said her makeover was complete … and she’ll now be undergoing a makeover back to Emma.
