EC3 Wins NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title, Forces Tyrus Into Retirement

EC3 enjoys working in NWA and he has more reason to love the promotion after he defeated Tyrus to win the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

The bullrope match for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship was the main event of night 2 of the NWA 75th Anniversary Show on Sunday, where EC3 began his first reign with the title after Tyrus tapped out. EC3’s win also meant that his opponent, Tyrus, had to retire from NWA, which was the stipulation heading into the match.

Tyrus had held the title since last November’s Hard Times 3 show, where he had defeated Matt Cardona and then champion Trevor Murdoch to become the heavyweight champion.

The former WWE star, who has made a few controversial statements in the past, was recently in the news for the wrong reasons when he advocated assaulting children if they used their preferred pronouns.

There was another major title change at NWA 75 as Kenzie Paige became the NWA World Women’s Championship after defeating Kamille, which was also on night 2 of the show. Kamille had successfully defended her title on Saturday against Natalia Markova, but her 800+ day reign as champion ended at the hands of Paige.

Paige, though, lost the NWA World Women’s Television Championship on Saturday night to Max the Impaler, while Blunt Force Trauma won the NWA World Tag Team Championship on night 1 after defeating La Rebelión on night 1 and retaining it on night 2, winning their match against Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox.

Former WWE Star Tyrus (Brodus Clay) Sued For Sexual Harassment

Former WWE star Brodus Clay (Tyrus) is being sued by Britt McHenry for sexual harassment, according to TMZ. Tyrus was McHenry’s former Un-PC co-host. Un-PC is a FOX Nation show.

Britt McHenry is claiming that Tyrus sent her text messages that included threats of a dick pic and comments about her butt and legs. She also claims that he lied and told HR and management that they were both just flirting. He showed investigators photos and texts of her cleavage and nearly bare breast, which McHenry claims the pics and texts were doctored and not really her.

Tyrus was removed from Un-PC but was later given his own show, Nuff Said.

Britt McHenry is also suing FOX News. She claims that after she told about what Tyrus did, FOX News shut her out of company events and refused to allow her to appear as a guest on other FOX News shows.

A rep from FOX News told TMZ, “Ms. McHenry’s lawsuit recycles the same allegations she filed with the New York State Division of Human Rights in October, to which we filed a response on Friday. As we have previously stated, Ms. McHenry’s allegations have been fully investigated and we are confident our actions will be deemed entirely appropriate in litigation. We expect all of her claims to be dismissed.”

Tyrus was released by WWE in 2014.

Tyrus Reportedly Kicked Off Fox Nation Show Due To Sexual Harassment Complaint

Former WWE and TNA performer Tyrus, f.k.a Brodus Clay, was reportedly removed from his Fox Nation show, Un-PC, due to a sexual-harassment complaint filed by co-host Britt McHenry.

The Daily Beast reported that McHenry was sent numerous unsolicited text messages by Tyrus. Tyrus, whose real name is George Murdoch, allegedly sent such texts to McHenry which contained lewd and sexual statements.

Tyrus originally co-hosted Un-PC with Britt McHenry before being moved to his own show called NUFFSAID after ‘a personal dispute’ had occurred between he and McHenry in April. Tyrus was questioned by The Hollywood Reporter‘s Jeremy Barr via Twitter about the incident to which Tyrus responded, ‘No comment and don’t message me again’.

According to two sources who previously were employed by Fox News, Tyrus had a history of making jokes and comments in politically incorrect nature, adding that his sense of humor is considered to be ‘wild’. It was said by others with knowledge of Tyrus’s professional environment that he had a long history of acting outwardly angry towards crew members.

As of now, Tyrus has not made any statement on the incident. Co-host and complaintee McHenry has yet to comment either.

Tyrus was released by the WWE in 2014. Following his release, he began a four year stint with TNA Wrestling before finally transitioning into a political commentator role with Fox News.
