The Undertaker Mades His Return On SmackDown’s 900th Episode (VIDEO)

The Undertaker made his long awaited return last night on SmackDown Live just days before Survivor Series, he had a stern warning for Team Blue.

Undertaker appeared during a segment of the Cutting Edge hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Edge.He informed Smackdown’s team that they’ll have consequences to pay if they lose on Sunday, because he’s officially back in action.

“WrestleMania will no longer define who I am … I’m back.”  Adding, ““There’s no reason to fear failure, but if you fail, you’ll have reason to fear the Deadman. Team RAW better REST IN PEACE.”

WWE Announces Goldberg vs Lesnar – Survivor Series Main Event

WWE announced Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg in a WrestleMania XX rematch for the November 20th Survivor Series pay-per-view from Toronto.

WWE announced the following on WWE.com:

It’s finally happening.

After 12 years, Goldberg will return to a WWE ring for an apocalyptic showdown with Brock Lesnar, turning the WWE Universe’s “fantasy warfare” into hard-hitting reality. The battlefield of choice? Survivor Series, live Sunday, Nov. 20, on WWE Network.

Goldberg’s path to the ring went from pie-in-the-sky hypothetical to signed and sealed over a matter of weeks, as Paul Heyman responded to the former World Heavyweight Champion’s noncommittal SportsCenter interview with a challenge on behalf of The Beast Incarnate. Goldberg, Heyman explained, was not just a mirror image of Brock throughout the Monday Night War, but he holds the distinction of a 1-0 record against The Conqueror. This, of course, is something Heyman could not abide, especially given Goldberg’s casual dismissing of Lesnar in the lead-up to the release of WWE 2K17, where both are featured Superstars (Lesnar is the cover athlete; Goldberg a downloadable exclusive).

Even so, Heyman must have been surprised when Goldberg took him up on his offer, declaring The Beast to be “last” on his infamous hit list, with the time and place confirmed one week later on WWE’s official Twitter account. Now, at WWE’s fall classic, Goldberg will either join the ranks of the conquered, or forever be known as The One Who Beat the One in 23-1.

Tune in to see this epic clash of icons when WWE Survivor Series airs live Sunday, Nov. 20, at 7 ET/4 PT, only on the award-winning WWE Network.

Survivor Series will also feature RAW vs. SmackDown in three Traditional Elimination Matches with male Superstars, female Superstars and tag teams.

Paul Heyman Has A Warning For Goldberg

As noted, Goldberg has reportedly been in talks with WWE for a return to the company and Jim Ross stated that Goldberg will be facing Brock Lesnar at The Survivor Series on November 20th. Paul Heyman issued a warning for Goldberg on Twitter:

Bill Goldberg’s ESPN SportsCenter interview with Jonathan Coachman came with no announcement on his WWE return last night. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter insists the Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar match is still scheduled for the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 20th, unless plans have fallen apart. As of Tuesday, the match was considered to be confirmed and locked in. As noted, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross also reported this week that his reliable source relayed the same information.

The story is that Vince McMahon has had the match scheduled but has not been very gung-ho about doing it. It was also noted that while WWE is ready to use Goldberg once again, there are still a lot of negative feelings and politics regarding him.

There are several reasons for doing the match at Survivor Series. WWE wants to do the match to help promote the WWE 2K17 video game and Survivor Series is the best option for that plan. Also, future opponents for Lesnar are said to be locked in and apparently one of those opponents is Shane McMahon, perhaps for WrestleMania 33. WWE officials were not willing to change Lesnar’s WrestleMania plans for Goldberg.

Regarding the Lesnar vs. Goldberg match, this is reportedly a one-off that is not leading to any kind of future rematch between the two.

After the match, Triple came in and raised Reigns’ arm and offered a handshake but Riegns refused and turned and walked away. Reigns turned back around and Speared Triple H. Sheamus came in and hit Reigns with a Brogue Kick and cashed in Money in the Bank. Sheamus covered Reigns but he kicked out. Sheamus eventually hit Reigns with another Brogue Kick and got the pin.

WWE issues statement on ISIS threat at survivor series (updated)

6:55pm PST Triple H confirms survivor series will still happen Sunday 

According to Wrestling Inc this morning hactivist group Anonymous uncovered information today about other upcoming attacks planned by ISIS, following their attacks last week in Paris, France that left 130 people dead.

The only US target listed was this Sunday’s WWE Survivor series from Alanta. 

WWE officials had this to say about the potential threat” WWE Survivor Series is currently scheduled as planned while we investigate the matter with federal, state and local authorities.”
It should be noted that although there were threats found the event isn’t 100% confirmed

However The local CBS affiliate in Atlanta reports that the FBI is taking the threat very seriously. They issued this statement to Action 2 News:
“The FBI is aware of reports of an alleged threat that includes an Atlanta, Georgia venue and event. While we take all threats seriously, we do not have specific or credible information of an attack at this time. We have, however, made the proper notifications as we continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe.”

They are staying very close to the situation. There’s also a possibility that survivor series may be rescheduled. More updates to come

The Undertaker At Survivor Series?

WWE is advertising The Undertaker for their Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 22nd. It appears that Undertaker will face The Wyatt Family in a traditional Survivor Series match. There is no word on who his partners will be. Maybe we will find out more tonight on RAW.

If I had to guess on who will team with Undertaker to take on The Wyatt Family at Survivor Series, it would be Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. The 4th could possibly be Kane. I do believe Undertaker & Kane did face Luke Harper & Braun Strowman on WWE’s recent tour of Mexico. I don’t know about Randy Orton since he is currently out with a shoulder injury.
