Karrion Kross And Scarlett Returns To WWE On SmackDown

Karrion Kross is back in WWE, and in a major way. He was dropped right into the main event scene between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.

With rumors circulating that Triple H was interested in bringing back Karrion Kross to WWE, it didn’t take long for that rumor to be proven accurate. During Friday’s SmackDown, Kross, along with Scarlett and her hourglass, returned and took aim at one of the brand’s biggest stars.

The closing segment of SmackDown featured a showdown between Roman Reigns, with The Bloodline, and Drew McIntyre. Reigns talked about how much he hates Brock Lesnar before demanding the WWE Universe acknowledge him. That brought out Drew McIntyre who didn’t waste any time asking the crowd if they wanted to see him wipe out the entire Bloodline prior to their upcoming match at Clash at the Castle. Before he could make good on his threat, a strange video was projected onto the entrance screen with a familiar theme song. It was hard to make out who was in the entryway, but it was a female figure. As McIntyre and Reigns looked on confused, Kross came in from behind and attacked McIntyre.

The announce crew wasn’t sure who it was exactly, until Pat McAfee shouted, “Karrion Kross?” Michael Cole then confirmed that was the case when the camera zoomed in on Kross. Cole said, “Karrion Kross, a former NXT Champion has returned.” Scarlett placed the hourglass on the ring apron and turned it over. Kross was staring at Reigns and pointed and tapped his wrist – Tick Tock, as to say Reigns has ben put on notice and his time is running out.

This is a big play by Triple H creatively. Not only did he bring back a recently-released former NXT Champion, but he’s plopped him right into the main event scene on the blue brand. Just prior to a big showdown between McIntyre and Reigns at Clash at the Castle, Kross is now a big part of the picture and it’s unclear how WWE will include him in all of this. Triple H was known to be a fan of Kross’ during his NXT run, suggesting he had all the tools to be a huge star. Clearly, he’s putting his money where his mouth is.

News On Scarlett Bordeaux And Shotzi Blackheart Signing With WWE

Scarlett Bordeaux and Shotzi Blackheart will be starting with WWE soon.

Bordeaux has cancelled her upcoming bookings, including the Fight Forever: Tribute to Bret “The Hitman” Hart event on November 23rd. NWA star Kamille Brickhouse will be replacing Bordeaux. Bordeaux will still be appearing at the Baltimore Comic Con this weekend, along with her boyfriend, Killer Kross. The Baltimore Comic Con will be Bordeaux’s final independent meet and greet before she starts with WWE.

Bordeaux spoke to Wrestling Inc. on their WINCLY podcast earlier this year. WWE has been moving in a more risqué direction this year, which Bordeaux was happy with.

“I think, for a while, there was a lot of limits on everything with women…” Bordeaux told Wrestling Inc. in January. “For a while they were pulling back the sexiness and placing a limit on what you could do. They are kinda loosening that and saying its okay to have a little bit [of sexiness] which is great.

“I’ve seen a few things the last few weeks which actually makes me really happy. They’re loosening up a little bit on the way they are stopping women being sexy.”

Blackheart, who was publicly offered an NXT developmental contract by William Regal at EVOLVE 137 this past weekend, will honor her independent dates through November 3rd. She was scheduled for others after that, however Wrestling Inc. has learned that Blackheart has cancelled those, telling promoters that she has “been informed that (she) must cancel all independent bookings past November 4th.”

After a brief run with Impact from 2014-2015, Bordeaux returned to Impact in July of 2018, sporting a “Smokeshow” gimmick that gained a lot of attention. She quickly became one of the company’s more popular acts after being featured regularly on their TV show. One of Impact’s most viral videos was her giving Scott Steiner a lap dance. Over time, however, she started to wrestle more frequently on the program, including against men. She beat Glenn Gilbertti (Disco Inferno) in her debut match.

Bordeaux recently requested her release from the company. Although the contract was due later this summer, Bordeaux’s deal was set to reportedly pay her per appearance and wasn’t a guaranteed contract. She was among a few members of the Impact roster to request their release, including boyfriend Killer Kross.

As we previously reported, Scarlett’s boyfriend Killer Kross has also been wanting out of his contract over financial related reasons.

So far, the company has not been willing to grant his request.

During a recent interview, Kross talked about how Scarlett’s situation with Impact was worse than his and that she was still living at home because of how little she was making with the company.
