Karl Anderson And Luke Gallows Moved To RAW

Looks like the Superstar Shake-Up is continuing for a third week, as Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have been swapped to Raw.

The move was announced during Raw when The Good Brothers made their entrance for a match against The Usos. Unfortunately, it was a losing effort for Anderson and Gallows.

The two veterans were last used on TV in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35. They were last on the Raw brand in 2018.

Lets hope a couple of good brothers get a pushki on RAW.

UPDATE:

Regarding the roster move, PWInsider reports that WWE officials decided on the change a few weeks back on the first night of the Superstar Shakeup, but didn’t make it official until last night.

It was also noted that there has been no change in the contract status of Gallows and Anderson. They are still scheduled to finish up with WWE this September when their contracts expire.

It was reported in mid-March that Gallows and Anderson were at a standstill in their WWE contract negotiations, which led to them being pulled from scheduled live events. The Good Brothers have reportedly turned down multi-million dollar deals as they are not happy with how they’ve been used in recent years.

WWE RAW Preview 4/29/19

Tonight’s WWE RAW will take place from the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky as the road to Money In the Bank continues.

* A WWE Money in the Bank edition of “A Moment of Bliss”

* A Phenomenal foe for The Beastslayer

* Call him Robert Roode

* Cesaro and Samoa Joe become RAW Superstars

* The Man down (but not out)

* The “Firefly Fun House” is open

Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House

It was finally revealed on tonight’s RAW that is Bray Wyatt behind the bizarre vignettes that WWE was airing the past few week. An altogether different Bray Wyatt appeared in a new vignette and introduced his special friends Mercy The Buzzard and Penny The Witch at the “Firefly Fun House.”

Bray’s “Firefly Fun House” had a Pee Wee’s Playhouse feel to it.

Bray mentioned how he used to be a very bad man but he has been “barbarically punished for his wrongdoings” and the old part of him is dead now. He used a chainsaw to destroy a cardboard cutout of the original Bray Wyatt during the segment.

Another Name Change For WWE Tag Team

When the War Raiders (Hanson and Rowe) was called up from NXT to RAW last week during the WWE Superstar Shake-Up, they were renamed The Viking Experience (Ivar and Erik). Now after a lot of backlash on social media, they have been renamed yet again as The Viking Raiders.

Tonight on RAW they defeated The Lucha House Party.

* What creepy force is infiltrating WWE?

* Lacey Evans calls for The Man

* Does The Miz have unfinished business with Shane McMahon?

Backstage Notes On Samoa Joe Joining The WWE RAW Roster This Coming Monday (4/22)

An angle is planned for Monday’s WWE RAW that will see WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe officially join the red brand roster, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

We noted before that Joe was at this week’s RAW, but his segment was removed from the show because he was very sick. If Joe is able to perform on Monday, they will do the angle. It’s also been reported that Joe’s first RAW feud will be a continuation of the recent storyline he started with Braun Strowman. There’s no word yet on if Strowman will be involved in Monday’s angle, but it’s likely. WWE quietly announced several Superstar Shakeup roster changes after Tuesday’s SmackDown went off the air, but they saved the Joe move because of the angle that is planned for RAW.

On a related note, PWInsider reports that Joe is scheduled to be at Monday’s RAW from the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, but he is not scheduled for Tuesday’s SmackDown at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.

WWE Superstar Shake-Up Moves At Last Night’s SmackDown Live and Moves Announced After

Last night was the second night of the annual WWE Superstar-Shake-Up and as usual there was some big changes.

It wasn’t made clear Monday night, but last night on SmackDown it appears that Ricochet and Aleister Black are on the RAW roster.

Last night Vince McMahon made his announcement of the biggest SmackDown acquisition in history. Vince named Elias. Roman Reigns came out and interrupted and laid out Vince and Elias claiming SmackDown as his yard.

Below are a list of names that has joined the SmackDown roster:

  • Roman Reigns
  • Elias
  • Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor
  • Lars Sullivan
  • Ember Moon
  • Bayley
  • Kairi Sane (who is part of Paige’s new tag team with Asuka)
  • Buddy Murphy

After the show there was some more roster changes announced:

  • Liv Morgan
  • Mickie James
  • Chad Gable
  • Apollo Crews
  • Heavy Machinery

With these roster moves we saw the break up of The Boss and Hug Connection, Liv from The Riott Squad and Gable and Bobby Roode.

It’s believed that WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe will be sent to RAW later this week as more moves should be added on the WWE website and social media. As noted, Joe was backstage at this week’s RAW in Montreal, but he was very sick and his segment was removed from the show. It’s likely that this was his RAW roster move as Balor brought the WWE Intercontinental Title to SmackDown.

There has been no mention of what brand Nikki Cross will be apart of.

WWE Superstar Shake-Up Moves At Last Night’s RAW

Last night was the first night of the annual WWE Superstar-Shake-Up and as usual there was some big changes.

Below are a list of names that has joined the RAW roster:

  • AJ Styles
  • The Miz
  • The Viking Experience (Erik and Ivar) formally known as War Raiders (Hanson and Rowe) – current NXT Tag Team Champions
  • The Usos
  • Naomi
  • ReyMysterio
  • Andrade and Zelina Vega
  • Cedric Alexander
  • EC3
  • Lacey Evans
  • Eric Young

War Raiders Debut On WWE RAW As “The Viking Experience”

NXT Tag Team Champions Hanson and Rowe, better known as War Raiders, were shock call-ups on last night’s Superstar Shake-Up edition of RAW, joining forces with The Revival to face off against Ricochet, Aleister Black, Zack Ryder, and Curt Hawkins in an eight-man tag.

They weren’t introduced under their NXT monickers: instead, Hanson and Rowe have been rebranded Erik and Ivar, The Viking Experience.

RAW’s commentators then tried to put the act over as “not a gimmick,” claiming that Ivar and Erik are literal vikings, thus cementing the move’s utter ridiculousness.

Is this the dumbest name change in WWE history?

Ditching “War Raiders” essentially means that the hugely over “war” chants are probably going away as well.

Regardless, The Viking Experience should be strong enough to survive the silliness. They’re a great tag team, having proved it again at TakeOver: New York.

Here’s hoping they compensate by ruling the RAW tag division.
