The Cruiserweights arrive on RAW:

Outlasting 31 other competitors from all around the globe, the charismatic T.J. Perkins emerged as the winner of the Cruiserweight Classic Wednesday night, and will bring the WWE Cruiserweight Championship to Raw in Memphis … but he won’t be alone.

WWE.com can confirm that the following Cruiserweights are also joining Team Red:

  • Brian Kendrick
  • Rich Swann
  • Gran Metalik
  • Cedric Alexander
  • Lince Dorado
  • Noam Dar

Cesaro looks to even up the Best of Seven Series in Match No. 6 against Sheamus.

Paige Returning To WWE RAW Soon

After weeks of speculation on her WWE status, PWInsider reports that Paige will be returning to the road for the company next week.

There has been communication between Paige and WWE officials over the past few days and she is now booked for next week’s RAW in Memphis and that week’s RAW live events.

Paige’s 30-day suspension for violating the WWE Wellness Policy ends on September 17th. She’s also been dealing with injuries over the past few months.

We recently reported that Paige had retained legal representation as there were reports of her trying to leave the company. It will be interesting to see what happens now that her boyfriend Alberto Del Rio has left the company. The two have filmed material to be included on Total Divas.

Cesaro vs Sheamus Match# 5 of Best of 7 Series:

Facing elimination in the Best of Seven Series this past Wednesday in London, Cesaro pulled off a spectacular victory that prevented Sheamus from a clean sweep and ensured that he’d live to fight another day. This Monday, to be precise.

Now, The Swiss Superman and The Celtic Warrior head to Match No. 5 in their Best of Seven Series to determine which of these physically dominant Team Red competitors will earn a championship match. Will Cesaro’s momentum save him from elimination on Monday, or will the imposing Irishman win the series at 4-1?

Backstage Updates On The WWE RAW Cruiserweights

WWE has confirmed the following names for the RAW cruiserweight division – Gran Metalik, Akira Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann, Brian Kendrick, Noam Dar and TJ Perkins.

It appears this is the entire roster, for now at least, as PWInsider reports that the initial division will feature just 10 Superstars. It’s very possible that new cruiserweights will be introduced to the division over time.

The current plan is for the RAW cruiserweights to work RAW TV events as well as WWE NXT TV events and NXT live events. They will likely start working RAW live events soon as well.

The division kicks off on September 19th at RAW in Memphis.

The end of Monday Night Raw this week surprised the entire wrestling community … including Kevin Owens‘ young son — and the new champ’s wife posted an adorable reaction video.

Kevin’s wife Karina uploaded the video to Instagram yesterday with the caption, “About 2 minutes after Kevin won, he was still in shock.”

For those who missed it … Owens won the Universal Championship last night after Triple H interfered in the match. First by taking out Roman Reigns, then turning on Seth Rollins to help KO pick up the biggest victory of his career.

As seen on last night’s RAW, Triple H made a surprise return and helped Kevin Owens win the WWE Universal Title after attacking Roman Reigns and turning on Triple H. Triple H then had a staredown with Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon before walking off.

It’s possible that this is leading to Triple H vs. Rollins at WrestleMania 33, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio. Rollins vs. Triple H was one of their original plans last year before Rollins got hurt and went down with an injury.

Regarding last night’s Fatal 4 Way with Rollins, Reigns, Owens and Big Cass, the Elimination stipulation was decided on some time in the past few days.

Triple H Returns To RAW – KO Is New WWE Universal Champion

Triple H made his return to RAW and got involved in the WWE Universal Championship Elimination Match to crown a new champion. Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns vs Big Cass. Triple H was the decisive factor of the outcome.

The match saw Big Cass get eliminated first, by Owens. Triple H made a surprise return and attacked Reigns outside of the ring, hitting him with a Pedigree. Triple H rolled Reigns in the ring and sent Rollins in to make the cover to eliminate Reigns. This led to Triple H turning on Rollins. Triple H gave a nod to Owens and hit Rollins with a Pedigree and allowing Owens to get the title. Triple H then celebrated with Owens before stopping at ringside to stare at Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon. He then walked off , Stephanie looked shocked by what her husband Triple H just did. Owens was left to celebrate in the ring, fans chanted you deserve it as RAW went off the air.

Sasha Banks may be appearing on RAW tonight in Houston. She is in town doing a lot of media. She will be appearing on tonight’s RAW pre-show on the WWE Network.

Bayley Makes RAW Debut (Video)

Last night on RAW, former NXT Women’s Champion Bayley made her debut as an official member of the RAW roster. She was introduced by RAW General Manager Mick Foley, who confirmed that he and RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon have signed her for the red brand.

Bayley went on to challenge Charlotte for the WWE Women’s Title but was put in a match against Dana Brooke instead.

Regarding Bayley’s RAW roster debut on last night’s show, she challenged WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte to a match but Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline reports that she originally was not scheduled to be in the title picture as soon as she was called up. It will be interesting to see if they push Bayley vs. Charlotte up because of Sasha’s absence.
