Paige Pulled From WWE Live Events, Video Of Paige Sustaining Injury

Below is footage of Paige sustaining an injury at last night’s RAW live event at the Nassau Coliseum. Paige was teaming with Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville against Sasha Banks, Bayley & Mickie James.

The start of the video shows Paige taking a kick to the back from Banks. Paige struggled to get to her feet before falling to the mat, causing the referee to throw up the “X” injury signal and stop the match. A stretcher was brought out, however Paige was able to walk to the back with the help of the doctors.

F4WOnline reports that Paige has been pulled from the rest of this week’s RAW live events as a precaution. She was scheduled for an evaluation and X-rays yesterday. As noted, Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that it is believed that she had just suffered a mild stinger from the kick.

Paige Had Injury Scare At WWE Live Event

Paige suffered what appeared to be a rib, shoulder or head injury during last night’s WWE live event on Long Island. The injury came from either a missed dropkick or a hard kick to the back from Sasha Banks. Apparently, Paige wasn’t ready for the move and it stunned her. The match was immediately stopped and a stretcher was brought out but Paige did walk out on her own.

Paige is apparently alright today as she was seen at the hotel bar after the show and was feeling better, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter . The early belief is that she just suffered a mild stinger.

No word yet on if Paige will miss any ring time.

Paige Made Her Return, With Debuts By Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose (Videos)

Last night’s on RAW Paige made her long awaited return to WWE, but she didn’t come alone. She brought with her two former Tough Enough contestants , who have been competing in NXT.

Paige’s much anticipated comeback went down on Monday night and after greeting the crowd, as well as the other female wrestlers in the ring, the ex-Total Divas star said she wasn’t alone. That’s when Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose hit the ring and beat up Mickie James and Sasha Banks, before Paige made her way to the squared circle to hit the RamPaige on Bayley. The trio also beat up Alexa Bliss backstage.

Paige Declares She’s Now Single (VIDEO)

The very public relationship between Paige and Alberto El Patron seems to be finished … because Thursday night on Snapchat the soon-to-return WWE Superstar said she’s single.

Paige’s friend Jenna posted a video Thursday night on Snapchat in which the WWE star says, “this is why I’m single” while joking around about another couple who were making out.

Sources had told Pro Wrestling Sheet that the couple recently broke up and that it seemed like their engagement was officially called off, but attempts to reach her and Alberto to confirm were unsuccessful.

New WWE Theme Song For Paige Revealed?

We’ve noted how Paige has been training for her return to action for WWE and there’s now speculation on a new theme song for the former Women’s Champion. Jorge Hernandez, manager for singer Shayla, posted a preview for a remixed version of Paige’s theme song and thanked WWE for the opportunity. It’s also possible that the song could be used in the WWE Studios’ movie based on Paige and her wrestling family that comes out in the near future. Shayla appears to be a relatively new singer.

Paige WWE Return Update And Which Brand She Might Be Joining

As noted, Paige started training at the WWE Performance Center on Monday as she looks forward to her return to the ring for WWE.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Paige has already received full clearance to return, she’s just getting back into ring shape now. The former Women’s Champion has been out of the ring for more than 1 year after having neck surgery.

Word is that WWE officials already have a storyline for Paige’s return and that it will be for the SmackDown brand.

Paige Training For Her Ring Return At WWE Performance Center

Paige was back at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando yesterday to work towards getting cleared for her WWE ring return. She’s been out of action since the summer of 2016 after having neck surgery. WWE posted the following on the former Women’s Champion visiting the Performance Center today, quoting a post she made to Instagram:

Paige returns to the WWE Performance CenterPaige is on a journey to reclaim her “house.”

The former Divas Champion — unseen in a WWE ring for more than a year — revealed she has returned to the WWE Performance Center, presumably beginning her return to active competition in WWE.

“Went to see an old friend today,” she wrote. “Good to be back there! @wwe #RoadBackToMyHouse”

Paige is a two-time Divas Champion and became the youngest Superstar to hold the title when she captured it during her Raw debut at the age of 21. If her return his imminent, as this post is leading many in the WWE Universe to believe, consider the women of Raw and SmackDown LIVE officially put on notice.

Paige & Alberto El Patron Helping Hurricane Harvey Victims

Paige and Alberto El Patron are aiding victims of Hurricane Harvey by renting rooms for families that have lost their homes. You can see video below of Paige discussing her efforts to help those in Texas, which has been hit by hard the hurricane. Paige discussed the situation with the FOX affiliate in San Antonio, where she lives with El Patron.

Paige Will Not Be Charged With Domestic Violence, Case Is Closed

WWE star Paige (Saraya-Jade Bevis) will not be charged with domestic abuse stemming from an incident at the Orlando International Airport according to TMZ Sports.

A representative for the 9th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office informed TMZ that the case is now officially closed as Alberto El Patron (Jose Rodriguez) opted to not press charges against her. Rodriguez will not be formally charged either.

Orlando police had initially cleared Patron of all wrong doing and indicated they would open an investigation regarding Paige going forward. Paige would have been facing another suspension from WWE had she been charged per the company’s domestic violence policy.

Paige stated in recent weeks that she is still working towards a return to the ring for WWE. Patron was recently stripped of the GFW World Championship and appeared to be written off GFW television the next few months leading up to Bound for Glory in November.

Paige Comments On Her WWE Status And Return (Video)

Paige appeared with Alberto El Patron for the Malik Rose Bowling Tournament on Monday in San Antonio, Texas. The event raised money for the Salvation Army’s Emergency Family Shelter.

As seen below, KENS5’s Chelsey Hernandez approached Paige and asked her for an update on when she will be back to TV.

“Hopefully within the next couple of months, fingers crossed,” Paige said. “Now I have to get cleared by WWE doctors.”
