WWE will be introducing a brand new title on Monday’s WWE RAW episode.
There’s no word yet on what the new title will be, but WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley will be there to introduce it.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley appeared on The Pro Wrestling Show podcast earlier this week and said he would be open to wrestling a WWE match in Saudi Arabia, if the price was right.
Foley said a friend asked him how he would handle a potential return to the ring in Saudi Arabia, considering some of the controversy surrounding the Kingdom. Foley said he’s glad he doesn’t have to make that choice.
“I’m lucky I don’t have to make that choice,” Foley said. “I have to be honest, I can be had for a certain price.”
Foley also said he would be open to doing a Hell In a Cell rematch with The Undertaker, if the Saudi officials wanted it.
“If they wanted a rematch of the Cell badly enough and willing to pay for it, they’d probably get it. Working slower than I did 21 years ago, but I’d be out there,” he said.
The Saudi shows have ended up being very lucrative paydays for the WWE talents who get booked. Some of the top names are earning as high as seven figures for the events.
It will be interesting to see what kind of criticism WWE faces over their controversial working relationship with the Kingdom as we get closer to the event. WWE will return to the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, June 7 for the third WWE Network special under the 10 year big money deal with The Saudi General Sports Authority. WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and AJ Styles have been announced.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley recently spoke with Sky News and agreed with comparisons that have been made between Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin.
The interview was done before WWE confirmed Lynch vs. new SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey for the WrestleMania 35 main event, but Foley predicted that there would have been “huge unrest” from WWE fans if the match did not go on last. Foley said there would be “a mass exodus of people from around the world” if WWE did not put the women in the show-closer at WrestleMania this year.
Foley predicted an exciting main event of the biggest show of the year.
“I see it being an exciting match; Ronda is going out on a limb to create this really dislikeable persona and I think it works,” he said.
Regarding Lynch, Foley said he’s confident that she is the biggest Superstar in WWE today.
“I believe their time has come. Becky Lynch has succeeded in becoming the biggest name in our business and I think that’s great,” Foley said. “She’s a good friend, she’s a wonderful person and it couldn’t happen to a nicer lass.”
Foley also revealed how Lynch messaged him last year and asked for some advice as she was pushed into the main event scene. Foley told her to be patient and be ready.
“I go back to my messages about eight or nine months ago and when she came to me for some advice I told her to be patient and to be ready,” Foley revealed. “Then when she got the opportunity, she ran with it like nobody I’ve ever seen, like ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.”

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley made his return to WWE TV last night on RAW.
Foley interrupted Elias. Foley says he’s actually a big fan of Elias. He gave props to Elias for playing the guitar but knocked him as a lyricist. Elias brought up Foley being here to talk about the 20th anniversary of his legendary Hell In a Cell match. Elias says that was then and this is now. He says Foley is standing in the ring with Elias but he’s standing in the ring with a broken man. Elias knocked Foley some more and a Mr. Socko chant broke out. Foley talked about how he made a proposition to Stephanie McMahon to come to RAW tonight. He didn’t want to be the guy watching Hell In a Cell from home, he wanted to ring the bell or keep the time. Elias says Stephanie probably laughed in his face and Foley agrees. Foley reminded her about the match with The Undertaker when he was almost dead. He met Stephanie for the first time after that match. Foley revealed that he will be the special referee for Strowman vs. Reigns at Hell In a Cell, inside the Cell.
Foley did the “bang! bang!” gimmick and looked to leave but Elias talked some trash. Foley says Stephanie also allowed him to make one match tonight for old times sake. Foley brings out Elias opponent – Finn Balor.
Mick Foley recently appeared on X-Pac 12360, and continued his push for Vader & Chyna to go into the WWE Hall of Fame.
“We could go around and around because obviously there are dozens of people who are deserving and it’s a pretty subjective Hall. It’s not like the Baseball Hall of Fame, it’s based on statistics and you know things that are very objective. But, I think when you look at the contributions Leon (Vader) made you know; with WWE being probably the least impressive run he had. But, I think that’s only because people were in his ear and it was pre-Attitude Era, where he wasn’t really allowed to be the Vader that had struck fear into the hearts of enhancement workers around the country. And I thought he was a dominant performer who drew more money than just about anybody in his era around the world. And the thing is, it would mean so much to him. He just had an operation on his heart and I mentioned it to Vince (McMahon) last year that I wished he’d consider it sooner rather than later, because I know how much it would mean to him (Vader). For Joanie (Chyna), I love the fact that she is mentioned on WWE, that they show her in videos and I hope it’s a sign that one day she’ll be in.”

If you get a letter back from Santa Claus this year, it may be because of a gift from a former pro wrestler.
Mick Foley, a World Wrestling Entertainment hall of famer, made a $1,000 donation to the Santa Claus Museum & Village in Spencer County, Indiana, officials with the non-profit said on Monday.
“Elves” at the museum answer letters to Santa every year — it’s been done in the community since 1914 — but it comes at a significant cost.
Foley, who became famous wrestling under names like Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack, will visit the museum to read and sign his new book, “Saint Mick: My Journey from Hardcore Legend to Santa’s Jolly Elf.” Foley’s visit will take place Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. CST.
Admission to the event is free, but seating is limited.
Foley “truly embodies the spirit of Christmas and we look forward to hosting him,” said museum director Emily Thompson.
In a news release, museum officials describe Foley as a “wearer of the red suit.”

Former Raw General Manager Mick Foley underwent hip surgery on Wednesday and got a special Christmas-related visit afterward in the recovery room.
The WWE Hall of Famer went under the knife today and when it was all over posted a photo on social media of his daughter Noelle Foley at the hospital dressed as Buddy the Elf.
Mick revealed last year that he was in need of the surgery and now that he’s no longer working Monday nights the ex-wrestler finally had time to take care of the problem.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley announced on Facebook that his hip replacement surgery has been pushed back until Wednesday, April 19th. Foley is headed to Wales to make an appearance next week but will have the surgery when he gets back. Foley says he’s looking forward to rehab time, becoming a better homeschool teacher and possibly starting work on another writing project.
Foley also commented on the new RAW General Manager, 2017 WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.
WISHING KURT THE BEST
Kurt Angle is great choice for RAW GM. He has the respect of everyone in the dressing room, can get serious when he needs to, and has an awe-inspiring ability to embrace his inner nerd. He is likely to have very good chemistry with a wide assortment of the Raw roster – which makes for good television. I’m not sure if this is true, but there is a rumor out there that he won an Olympic gold medal with a broken freakin’ neck!
I will be wishing Kurt the very best, and will always have an open ear for him if he is looking for advice or feedback. But publicly, I am going to take a page out of former US President’s playbooks, and do my best to stay fairly quiet about the product. I may occasionally point out something positive that I see (like Neville and Mustafa Ali working their butts off last night under less than ideal circumstances) but, in general, I will be keeping a much lower profile on social media.
My hip surgery has been postponed a week – until April 19. I won’t be able to get my final exams done until after I get back from Wales on April 10th, so we had to push the surgery back a week. Following the surgery, I have one appearance in Queens on May 13, and then nothing until July. So I should have plenty of time to rehabilitate my hip, become a better homeschooling teacher, and possibly work on another writing project as well. You can check out my schedule at realmickfoley.com
Have a nice day!

WWE RAW General Manager Mick Foley was apparently written off TV at tonight’s RAW in Brooklyn as Stephanie McMahon fired him. Foley was expected to take some time off for hip surgery. What will happen to the role as the red brand has no General Manager with less than two weeks until WrestleMania 33?

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley announced on Facebook that he will be inducted into the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame this coming May, along with WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and others. He wrote the following:
PROUD TO BE INDUCTED
I am very happy to announce that I will be attending the 2017 #ProWrestlingHallOfFame Induction Ceremony on May 20, 2017 in #WitchitaFalls Texas. I am proud to be among a great group of inductees like Sputnik Monroe, Luther Lindsay, Dirty Dick Raines, Yvon Robert, Susan Green and Shawn Michaels. I visited the #PWHF many times when it was located in #Amsterdam NY and I’m really looking forward to visiting the hall in its beautiful new home in Texas. I hope some of my fans in Texas (or anywhere around the country or world) will think about stopping by for the festivities, including a great evening of independent wrestling the night before the induction.
