Maria Kanellis Says She Is Ready To Return To WWE

Mike and Maria Kanellis haven’t appeared as a duo on WWE television since Maria was taken off the road after becoming pregnant last September. The couple celebrated the birth of their daughter Freddie Moon Bennett on April 3rd, 2018.

Maria will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida next week. Although Mike has really transformed his physique during his wife’s hiatus, he hasn’t been used on television in a notable fashion. Mike has been mostly working live events and Main Event tapings.

Maria is very active on social media and recently updated fans about her return status. She has focused on getting back into shape since her pregnancy and has posted several photos of her progress. She also commented on the upcoming all-female WWE Evolution event, saying that it was they fought for during her first run with WWE from 2004 – 2010. When asked if she would be able to return in time for it, she said that she is ready to return now and will be heading to the Performance Center next week.

Maria Kanellis Returning To The Ring Later This Summer

Maria Kanellis is planning on returning to the ring this summer.

Maria was recently backstage at WWE Money In the Bank, one of her first trips to a WWE event since she and Mike Kanellis welcomed their first child together back on April 4th.

Kanellis recently posted the following Instagram post and noted that she will be in Florida in early August to fight for WWE TV time. No word yet on if WWE will be using her for The Mae Young Classic, which tapes on August 7th and August 8th. Kanellis noted in another Instagram post that she would like to team with her husband at WrestleMania 35.

Maria Kanellis Blogs About Recent Nude Photo Leak

WWE star Maria Kanellis has commented on her recent nude photo leak, calling it an “intrusion of privacy” and saying the people who stole them need to get help.

Kanellis posted a blog on Facebook today titled “Playboy, Leaked Photos, and Being Sexy” in which she states: “I have been asked on numerous occasions about Playboy, my leaked photos, and about being sexy. My answers may surprise you and hopefully give you some insight into what it means to me to be able to be sexy and still be a great mother.”

She continued, “I guess first you should know, every photo that I have seen leaked was something for my husband of over three years, who I have been with for 6 and a half. They were sent to or taken by Mike. So, you aren’t seeing anything salacious or forbidden. You are seeing our personal photos.”

“If my children asks about those photos, I will say mommy and daddy have a healthy relationship. We love each other. Daddy thinks Mommy is sexy. AND, there is nothing wrong with that. The problem is the intrusion of privacy.” Maria adds, “The sad, sad humans that can not make a happy, healthy life of their own. I would tell my child to feel sorry for the people that do not have enough love of their own and have to steal it from others. Mommy and daddy, pity the people that have enough time on their hands to fish through our photos but no time to make a life of their own. To those people, I say get some help, try online dating, and stop breaking the law.

Maria Kanellis & Mike Bennett Headed To WWE?

Maria Kanellis is set for a WWE return and her husband Mike Bennett is coming with her, according to a report on Monday by SportsKeeda.com

Mike and Maria are reportedly headed to WWE’s SmackDown brand. PWTorch reported that a return to Impact Wrestling was a possibility but WWE’s offer was more appealing to the couple.

Maria Kanellis Planning On Leaving Wrestling Soon

Former TNA Knockouts Champion Maria Kanellis-Bennett, tweeted that she will be leaving the business soon.

Kanellis, who made her TNA debut this past January, added that she doesn’t know exactly when she’ll leave, but the reason why she went back to school was to prepare for life after wrestling.

Maria Kanellis On Donald Trump Firing Her For ‘Locker Room’ Talk, Feeling Objectified By Trump

The Daily Show ran the segment below regarding WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump and some his leaked comments from 2005 about how women react to him because he’s a celebrity. Trump, who apologized for the comments, brushed them off as “locker room” talk.

During The Daily Show segment, a clip from The Celebrity Apprentice in 2010 aired that showed then-WWE star Maria Kanellis being fired for “locker room” talk. Kanellis complained in the boardroom about fellow contestant Curtis Stone “taking a crap” in the restroom of their dressing room, which apparently “left a stench” in the room. Stone said Kanellis’ statement was “a good depiction of [her] character,” calling it below the belt.

“That is a little below the belt,” Trump said. “Maria, do you regret having said that?” As Kanellis tried to explain her comment, Trump replied, “It is sort of gross, though, bringing that up. It’s like disgusting. This is my boardroom, it’s not a locker room. Maria you’re fired.”

ET Online caught up with Kanellis and asked her about being fired on the show.

“He fired me for what I said, and what he said was much worse so,” Kanellis said. “My hope is that he gets fired as the Republican nominee.”

Kanellis also revealed that she once felt objectified by Trump in the boardroom.

“I have a mole on my shoulder and he said to me that I should have the mole removed because it is an imperfection,” she recalled, noting that she was wearing a sleeveless shirt. “I just felt as if that comment didn’t belong in the boardroom, I felt as if he should not be making comments like that to me and telling me that a part of my body is an imperfection.”

“It wasn’t something that bothered me [at the time], but as a presidential nominee, it bothers me because of all the recent comments and things that he has said or that has come out,” she continued. “It just shows more and more of what his character is.”

Maria Kanellis Has A Broken Hand

As seen below, TNA Knockout Maria Kanellis revealed on Instagram that she has a broken hand.

No word yet on when the injury took place but it could have been at last week’s Impact Wrestling tapings. There was a mixed tag match at Sunday’s tapings where Maria was replaced by new Knockout Allie and it looks like she may have been replaced due to the injury.
