Former WWE Star Enzo Reportedly Seen At WWE Performance Center – Big Bill’s AEW Contract Expiring Soon?

A familiar face from WWE’s past may be back on the company’s radar.

According to a report from False Finish, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was recently spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. The outlet noted that Amore was present at the facility on Tuesday ahead of this week’s episode of WWE NXT on The CW.

False Finish shared the following update on X:

“False Finish has learned that former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been at the WWE Performance Center recently and was there yesterday ahead of #WWENXT.”

Amore’s WWE run came to an abrupt end in January 2018 after sexual assault allegations surfaced against him. WWE suspended him on January 22 before officially parting ways with him the following day. Later that year, the Phoenix Police Department closed the investigation without filing charges.

Since leaving WWE, Amore — who has performed under the name Real1 — has remained active on the independent wrestling scene. Over the years, he has appeared for promotions including MLW, GCW, House of Glory, and Northeast Wrestling while also pursuing music projects outside the ring.

The timing of the reported Performance Center visit has sparked speculation among fans due to another recent report involving Big Bill, formerly known in WWE as Big Cass.

Fightful Select reported back in April that Big Bill’s AEW deal could expire around late May or early June 2026. Bill has been largely absent from AEW programming in recent months, wrestling only a handful of matches this year and not appearing on television since a February episode of Collision.

With Amore reportedly back around WWE and Big Bill’s AEW future uncertain, talk of a potential Enzo & Cass reunion has naturally picked up online.

The duo became one of WWE’s most popular tag teams during their NXT and main roster run in the mid-2010s. Their charisma and crowd reactions helped make them standout acts on both brands before WWE split them up in 2017 with Cass turning on Enzo during an episode of Raw.

While they never captured tag team gold on the WWE main roster, the team was widely considered one of the hottest acts of that era. Big Cass eventually departed WWE in 2018 before rebuilding his career through IMPACT Wrestling, the independent scene, and eventually AEW as Big Bill.

At this point, there’s no official word regarding a WWE return for Amore, but his reported appearance at the Performance Center is already generating plenty of discussion about what could potentially be next.

AEW’s Big Bill & Lexy Nair Tie The Knot In Mexico Ceremony

AEW stars William “Big Bill” Morrissey and Lexy Nair are officially married! Over the weekend, the happy couple exchanged vows in a beautiful destination wedding at a luxurious resort in Mexico. Lexy took to Instagram to share the exciting news, offering fans an inside look at the special day—from her bridal preparations to the ceremony and lively reception that followed.

The post was quickly flooded with congratulations from their AEW colleagues and friends, with names like Renee Paquette, Anthony Bowens, and Taya Valkyrie all chiming in to show their love and support for the newlyweds.

A Love Story Rooted in Wrestling

Big Bill and Lexy first announced their engagement back in December 2022, just months after Morrissey’s AEW debut. Their connection goes back even further, as the two reportedly started dating in 2021. Interestingly, their relationship likely began through a shared connection with wrestling legend Diamond Dallas Page, who also happens to be Nair’s step-father.

DDP has played a significant role in Morrissey’s life both personally and professionally. Back in 2019, Morrissey—who was battling substance abuse and depression at the time—found support and guidance through Page. With DDP’s help, Morrissey got sober and turned his life around, a journey that has led to a career resurgence and personal happiness.

Careers on the Rise in AEW and ROH

Since finding his footing in AEW, Morrissey has made a name for himself as “Big Bill,” aligning with veteran Chris Jericho in one of AEW’s prominent storylines. His imposing presence and in-ring dominance have cemented him as a force to watch within the promotion.

Lexy Nair, on the other hand, has become a familiar face as a backstage interviewer on AEW programming. Beyond AEW, she’s also taken on a bigger role in Ring of Honor, where she’s part of a major storyline alongside ROH Women’s World Champion Athena and rising star Billie Starkz.

Nair has been vocal about Morrissey’s support in her wrestling journey, crediting him for encouraging her to pursue an on-screen role back in 2019.

A Bright Future for the Newlyweds

Big Bill and Lexy Nair’s love story is one of resilience, growth, and support—both inside and outside the ring. Fans are celebrating this milestone alongside the couple, who continue to shine in their respective roles in AEW and beyond.

Here’s to many more years of happiness, love, and success for AEW’s newest power couple!

Sammy Guevara Returns On AEW Dynamite, Reunites With Chris Jericho

Sammy Guevara is back.

Guevara returned to AEW television on Wednesday, aligning himself with Chris Jericho again after turning on Don Callis and the Callis Family. Callis introduced Guevara and showcased a painting of him and the family with his new child. Guevara was hostile, accusing Callis and the family of not being there for him when he had his child or was out of action with a concussion. After Callis gave him an ultimatum and brought up his child negatively, Guevara attacked Callis, which led to the family attacking Guevara until Jericho made the save. Jericho extended his hand, but Guevara went in for a hug, reuniting the two.

The two were then jumped by Big Bill & Ricky Starks, Jericho’s former opponents for Worlds End before Kenny Omega was put out of action indefinitely with diverticulitis. The lights went out and when they came back on, Darby Allin and Sting were in the ring and made the save.

Later, an eight man tag team match was made for Worlds End where Guevara, Jericho, Allin, and Sting will team together to take on Starks,Bill, Kyle Fletcher, and Konosuke Takeshita.

Guevara was last on television back at WrestleDream in October, teaming with Konosuke Takeshita and Will Ospreay in a winning effort against Jericho, Omega, and Kota Ibushi. He has been out of action ever since due to suffering a concussion in the match. He’s also been out as Tay Melo, his wife, gave birth to a daughter back on November 28.
