Al Snow Tag Team Comedy Featuring David Vox Mullen Coming to Premier Streaming Network

Comedy special available on PSN beginning on June 30th

Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar and current co-owner of Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), Al Snow and the multi-talented comedian, actor, singer/song writer David Vox Mullen have put their creative minds together to bring a hilarious new comedy special to Premier Streaming Network (PSN). Produced by Under The L Productions, in association with Premier Studios, Al Snow Tag Team Comedy featuring David Vox Mullen will be the first comedy special on PSN and will be available on Friday, June 30th at 8:00 p.m./EST.

The hour-long show, recorded at Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago and directed by Danny Reyes, blends outrageous stories from Snow’s time in the world of professional wrestling, along with Vox’s impressions and improv instincts for a one-of-kind special that will have viewers declaring Snow and Vox comedy’s tag team champions.

“I figured I’d give comedy a shot,” said Snow. “I mean, I was literally able to convince millions of people that I could knock another human being out with a plastic head.”

“This is a dream come true,” said Vox. “I remember watching Monday Night Raw during the Attitude Era, and watching a superstar that had so much charisma, such comedic timing, and that superstar was The Rock. But Al Snow was also on that show.”

“The Al Snow Tag Team Comedy special is the perfect fit for PSN,” said Josh Shernoff, Vice President, Programming and Creative Development at PSN. “This special serves as a seamless bridge between our well-established pro wrestling offerings and the exciting direction Premier Streaming Network and Premier Studios are heading in the entertainment space. This special really showcases our commitment to bringing innovative and engaging content to our audience.”

The Al Snow Tag Team Comedy featuring David Vox Mullen will be part of the Premier+ subscription, or can be purchased as a separate event for $11.99.

“Being both a wrestling fan and a fan of all things entertainment, Premier Streaming Network was by far the absolute perfect choice to produce this special,” added Vox.

“We are thrilled to be working with Al and David as we expand our existing Premier Streaming Network offerings into the comedy and entertainment space,” said Paul Owen, President at PSN. “Tag Team Comedy is a great way to showcase what PSN and Premier Studios can do and we’re looking forward to fans enjoying the special.”

Ohio Valley Wrestling Will Once Again Serve As Impact’s Developmental Territory

Impact Wrestling has re-established its partnership with Ohio Valley Wrestling and will look to the company for their stars of the future.

The press release states:

IMPACT Wrestling announced today that it has re-entered into an agreement with Louisville-based Ohio Valley Wrestling to serve as an official development and training territory for IMPACT Wrestling.

The announcement of the renewed partnership follows the success of the co-promoted One Night Only: Clash in the Bluegrass event, a sold-out show from Davis Arena in Louisville, Kentucky, which featured stars from both organizations.

Executive VP Scott D’Amore was quoted in the release saying, “It is great to work with Al Snow and the team at OVW, which has a long history of developing great talent.”

OVW is the former developmental territory for WWE. Alumni include John Cena, Brock Lesnar and reigning IMPACT World Champion Johnny Impact. The company previously was the home for Impact’s developmental talent from 2012-2014.

Snow acquired Ohio Valley Wrestling in June 2018.

According to the announcement, IMPACT Wrestling management will look to OVW when scouting new talent and “those on the development roster will see future opportunities to appear on the flagship weekly show IMPACT!”

Al Snow Purchases Ohio Valley Wrestling, Talks Future Plans For The Company

Last weekend, it was announced via WDRB 41 that former WWE European and Hardcore Champion Al Snow is buying Ohio Valley Wrestling. OVW was founded by former wrestler “Nightmare” Danny Davis in 1997, and has been one of the longest-running televised wrestling shows ever since.

Over the years, OVW is also known for being the developmental territory for both WWE and Impact Wrestling creating WWE stars such as Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, among many others. For many years, Snow was a trainer in OVW, and helped build several successful WWE names.

After 21 years as the founder of OVW, Davis is now retiring to Florida, and Snow will take over as the lead executive. Currently, OVW features mostly indie talent. However, former WWE and Impact Wrestling star Elijah Burke is active in the company.

“What I have in mind is to create a great developmental center for wrestling talent to come find themselves, learn their craft, and learn it from truly experienced professional wrestlers,” said Snow in an interview with FITE TV. “I’ve always said that when you attend a wrestling school, or a wrestling training academy of any sort, that you take it much like if you were going to a university. If you want to go for accounting, you go in, you pay your tuition, you ask the Dean, ‘Ok, what’s my professor?’ and he goes, ‘this guy’s really good, he’s very talented.’ Well great! Who’s he work for? What’s he done? What kind of experience he has?

“Well, he’s never really went anywhere, he’s never really done anything, but he’s really good, he’s at the top of his class. That’s great, but if he doesn’t have experience, that means he has no real knowledge. If he has no real knowledge, there’s no way that he can communicate to you what you need to know. So you better take advance of any opportunities that may come up for you.”

The announcement of Snow taking over was well-received by both the current roster, as well as former Impact Wrestling stars, with names such as Hornswoggle and Madison Rayne sending their congratulations. As far as when the first show of Snow taking over will be, he stated, “it will be soon and I will let everyone know.”

Al Snow Launches New Business: COLLARxELBOW Has Arrived

A new era has dawned for sports apparel with the launch of COLLARxELBOW (collarandelbowbrand.com).

COLLARxELBOW is the brainchild of Al Snow, a career wrestler and training coach for over 30 years. Al’s enthusiasm developing talent is expressed in his brand, which is founded on that same spirit of camaraderie.

Al Snow’s enthusiasm for building win/win relationships is echoed in the mission of the company: “If you aren’t successful, we aren’t successful.” COLLARxELBOW promotes the interaction between the apparel company, their ambassadors, fans, and anyone who has a passion for wrestling. Success for the company is firmly entrenched in the development of the partnership between themselves, the athletes, and the fans. The brand speaks to the athlete and the fan—the fan in all of us.

“This isn’t my company—this is our company,” Al says of the company’s purpose. “This is our brand, for all of us who love wrestling. It belongs to us.”

Al Snow Arrested, Claims It Was Due To ‘A Typo’

al snow arrested typo impact wrestling

Impact Wrestling employee Al Snow was arrested this week in Kentucky — however, Snow has already released a statement saying the whole thing isn’t as bad as it sounds.

Snow was arrested in Winchester, KY on Monday night for a “failure to appear” charge from a previous court date, according to a report from WrestlingInc.

“To clear up my arrest, I had a ticket from 2 years ago,” Snow tweeted on Wednesday morning. “Took care of it but thanks to a typo… There was a bench warrant for me I was completely unaware of…”

Snow then said the arrest occurred while he was having car trouble and that he was later released on bail. He was still able to laugh about the situation though.

“A typo resulted in my arrest, and now I’ve spent time in the big house lol…”
