Reports are that AJ Styles is now expected to be returning to TNA after the 2 sides have continued negotiations. Styles’ agent recently reached out to indie promoters & said talks with TNA were moving along so if they wanted to book Styles that they needed to get their deposits in soon.
AJ Styles has confirmed that he has officially parted ways with TNA. Styles in a statement on his Facebook page said – “When this contract renegotiation journey started several months ago, my wife & I began praying for God to close doors that needed to be closed & to open doors that He wanted us to walk through. We asked Him to prepare us for this journey & to help us to have the faith to be obedient to what He would have us to do. I am assured by the name Immanuel in Matthew 1:23 that I will never be alone. Hebrews 13:5, says He will never leave us or forsake us. There is a lot in this world that I am unsure of, especially in this moment, but there is one thing that I am certain. Contracts may expire, but the promise of Immanuel will never expire.” AJ said he & his family are grateful for the platform TNA has allowed him to experience.
AJ Styles’ TNA contract is about to run out & he has not been resigned yet. TNA does not wont to pay Styles what he wants. Styles will be leaving TNA if a deal can’t be done by December 16th. Styles is currently taking independent bookings.
AJ Styles will be in Japan to defend The TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Seiya Sanada at Wrestle-1’s event this Saturday.
AJ Styles has a contract with TNA through the end of December. AJ & TNA won’t likely start negotiations until after Bound For Glory.
AJ Styles & TNA will have their next round of negotiations this week. Styles future with TNA is probably going to come down to money. Styles will stay with TNA if both sides can agree on financial terms.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, TNA Star AJ Styles’ contract will expire in September. According to the article TNA hasn’t made much of an effort to sign him to a new deal. I can’t imagine TNA not offering him a new contract, but if they don’t I’m sure the WWE would love to have AJ Styles.
