The final member of the Four Horsewomen of MMA, Jessamyn Duke, made her in-ring debut alongside Shayna Baszler and Marina Shafir in Saturday night’s NXT main event in Largo, Florida. The trio took on Deonna Purrazzo, Kairi Sane, and Io Sharai (also her debut). Baszler would tap out Purrazzo while the other two women kept Sane and Sharai from breaking things up.
As noted, it looks like WWE will do the Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen match at the Survivor Series PPV on November 18 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WWE’s Horsewomen are Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch while MMA’s Horsewomen are Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir, Baszler, and Duke. Angles were planned and filmed for the match in 2017, but things didn’t transpire. There’s been recent talk of doing the match and word is that teases are being sent out, possibly an angle will begin at WWE Evolution.

I attended the W.W.A. (World Wrestling Allinace) presents ONE NIGHT ONLY! event in Evansville, IN Saturday Night 8/25/18. The event featured WWE Hall Of Famer The Godfather & Former WWE Tag Team Champion Headbanger Thrasher.
Corey Storm announced that he broke his elbow in a match the night before coming off the top rope with a 450 splash. He will be undergoing surgery and will be out 6 months.
I got to see Myron Reed (who recently was seen in a match on TV from the tapings at MLW’s Battle Riot show) defeat Ray Waddell to earn a spot in the upcoming The Kentucky Classic Tournament.
The Headbangers was suppose to take on the W.W.A. Tag Team Champions The Perfect Pair (Vanderpool & Alexander Knight) but Headbanger Mosh wasn’t able to be there, so Headbanger Thrasher needed to find another partner. Thrasher recruited WWE Hall of Famer The Godfather to be his partner. The Godfather came out with his Ho’s (strippers from a Evansville strip club), He made a offer to The Perfect Pair, he could fight or one of them could go to the back and enjoy the company of the ladies. Alexander Knight refused the offer but his partner Vanderpool accepted and went to the back with The Godfather and the ladies. Later in the match Vanderpool came back out with lipstick kisses all over his body which caused Knight to be distracted and Thrasher got the pin for the win.
The main event was a Triple Threat Match for the W.W.A. Championship: Dakota France (c) vs Stonewall vs Teddy King – Stonewall won the match to become the new W.W.A. Champion.
* Psycho Clown, La Park, and Pentagon Jr. defeated Hijo del Fantasma (Cage Match with last two entrants facing off in a Mask vs. Mask Match)
* Lady Shani defeated Faby Apache (Mask vs. Hair)
* Fenix defeated Jeff Jarrett (c), Brian Cage, and Rich Swann (AAA Mega Heavyweight Championship)
* Joe Lider, Murder Clown and Pagano defeated La Mascara, Rey Escorpion and Texano Jr. (Street Fight)
* Averno, Chessman and Super Fly defeated Jack Evans, Juventud Guerrera and Teddy Hart
* Carta Brava Jr., Mocho Cota Jr. and Tito Santana defeated Mamba, Maximo and Pimpinela Escarlata, and El Hijo de L.A. Park, Puma King and Taurus
* Bandido and Flamita defeated Aerostar and Drago, Golden Magic and Laredo Kid, and Andrew Everett and DJZ (Number One Contender Ladder Match for the AAA Tag Team Championship)
* Big Mami and Nino Hamburguesa (c) defeated Hijo Del Vikingo and Vanilla, Dinastia and Lady Maravilla and Angelikal and La Hiedra (AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship)
* Sammy Guevara defeated Australian Suicide (c), ACH and Shane Strickland (AAA World Cruiserweight Championship)
* Freelance, Astrolux and Dragon Bane defeated Draztick Boy, Aramis and Látigo
Also during the event, Konnan and Vampiro signed a contract for a Loser Leaves AAA Match.
Neville is no longer under contract with WWE, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
According to Dave Meltzer, Neville is now free to wrestle wherever he pleases.
Neville first began with WWE in 2012 working under the NXT brand where he would eventually become NXT Champion. Neville had left WWE in mid-October, reportedly over frustration with his status in the company. He was scheduled to lose to then-WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore on the October 9, 2017 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, and left the company after reportedly learning of the scheduled finish. The match resulted in Enzo losing the championship to Kalisto.
Since quitting the company, Neville has been reportedly wanting his release from WWE. He was under WWE contract and his deal was frozen for the time he wasn’t working, which meant that he couldn’t wrestle anywhere else in the world. He moved back to the U.K. last March and has since kept a low profile.

The National Wrestling Alliance will host a 70th anniversary show in October that promises to “honor the fighting spirit and big-bout feel worthy of the NWA name.”
Since Billy Corgan took over, the NWA has largely been relegated to heavyweight championship rather than a promotion that runs traditional shows … with the champion being featured on their YouTube series called “Ten Pounds of Gold.”
That changes on October 21 at the Nashville Fairgrounds, however, with an event that will be produced in association with Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Entertainment and stream on FITE TV. The title will be defended by either current champ Nick Aldis — or his “All In” challenger Cody Rhodes.
“It’s such an honor to be leading this historic brand into its next chapter,” NWA owner Billy Corgan said in a news release. “The enduring legacy of the National Wrestling Alliance — the men who forged it and the champions who defended it — illuminate our path in 2018. This event celebrates our first full year shepherding this brand while honoring the everlasting milestones, legends and champions of the NWA.”
The NWA folks also announced the return of the NWA National title for the Nashville event.
More matches and talent will be announced in coming weeks.
