ROH has a new home. The company announced on Wednesday that they are moving from Comet TV to CHARGE!, which is still under the Sinclair Broadcasting umbrella, starting Sunday, with two episodes that start at 10 PM.

President Donald Trump’s use of a wrestling meme has the country buzzing this week … but Jerry Lawler, whose voice was featured in the clip, thinks people took it way too seriously.
King discussed the tweet on his latest podcast and said, “To me, it was pretty cool, no matter who the President is. It’s the President of the United States and they put out a tweet and you’re in it. I mean, c’mon! There’s not many people that can say that happened to them, so I just thought was kinda cool.”
For those who missed it … Trump furthered his never-ending battle with the news network this weekend by tweeting a video of his clothesline to Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 23, but with the CNN logo photoshopped over Vince’s head.
As for the backlash Trump received, Lawler stated: “Everyone just needs to lighten up. That was a funny tweet. You gotta admit, whether you like Donald Trump or whatever, it was the President of the United States putting out a funny tweet. C’mon, lighten up. What is wrong with that?”
NFL free agent DeAngelo Williams may have impressed the wrestling world during his debut match at Slammiversary, but don’t expect him to do it again — because the football player says he’s retired.
Williams told Adam Schefter on his show that he took part in the match for free in honor of his late uncle and revealed that GFW wanted him to do more, but he’s officially hanging up his boots.
The 34-year-old explains, “It was my debut and my retirement all at the same time.”
DeAngelo also says that he went full-force with the match because he respect wrestling too much to just phone it in like other celebrities have done in the past, even though he overshot the table spot.

Make way for another MMA crossover in professional wrestling, because “The American Psycho” Stephan Bonnar is stepping into the squared circle for the first time … at a bowling alley.
Bonnar sayshe and fellow MMA fighter Phil Baroni are forming a tag team called “The Real Shooters” and will be making their in-ring debut on July 16.
It’s certainly a humble start to the UFC legend’s wrestling career, because the event is taking place at Inman’s Bowling Alley and Recreation Center in Valparaiso, Indiana. Bonnar, however, promises a good show.
“I’m going to be doing flashy spin kicks, slapping submissions on these fools, and Phil Baroni’s going to be doing his thing. ‘The New York Badass.’ So, you’re going to be entertained. I guarantee it.”
