Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) returned to WWE NXT last night and confronted NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura at the end of the tapings in what may have been a dark segment. Video is below. WWE announced the following on his return:
Kassius Ohno makes a huge return to WWE NXT
ORLANDO, Fla. — As first reported on Twitter, Kassius Ohno stepped between the yellow ropes for the first time in more than three years to confront NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
At the conclusion of the night’s event, Nakamura was celebrating with the NXT Universe when Ohno’s music suddenly blared through the arena. The returning Superstar — widely considered to be one of the world’s top competitors — wasted no time making his intentions clear, as he approached Nakamura, slapped the champion’s title while it rested on his shoulder and then took his leave as quickly as he had emerged.
Whatever happens as a result of Kassius Ohno’s huge return, this is certain — the landscape of NXT just changed in a big way.

There’s been a lot of speculation on when Chris Hero (Kassius Ohno) may make his WWE return, if that is still the plan. Talk among fans heated up today when WWN Live announced Hero for their EVOLVE events on Friday, January 27th and Saturday, January 28th in San Antonio, Texas during WWE’s Royal Rumble weekend. Hero’s opponent for Friday has not been announced but he will be facing Zack Sabre Jr. on Saturday, which is the same night as WWE NXT “Takeover: San Antonio” with Bobby Roode vs. NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.

The Bollywood Boyz have been sent back to WWE NXT as officials want them to get some additional “seasoning” before being used on 205 Live again, according to PWInsider. Harv Sihra and Gurv Sihra worked the November 29th episode of 205 Live with a win over Drew Gulak and Tony Nese but they haven’t worked the main roster since. They did work a few NXT live events in December but don’t appear to be regulars at this point. It was noted that their match on 205 Live, and perhaps their matches at the Cruiserweight Classic, didn’t click in the eyes of WWE officials.

It has been announced that Samoa Joe will get his rematch against new NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura on Dec. 8th in Melbourne, Australia. The match will take place inside a steel cage.
A storyline began on this week’s WWE NXT where it appeared Big Damo is joining SAnitY with Sawyer Fulton leaving the group. Sawyer was not there but Damo helped Alexander Wolfe and Eric Young win their match, and Young tossed Sawyer’s jacket out of the ring.
Fulton hasn’t been around lately because of an unknown injury, related to the shoulder or biceps, that will keep him out of action for several months, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
It appears Fulton last wrestled at the November 17th NXT live event in Boston as he teamed with Wolfe and Young to lose to TM-61 and No Way Jose. Fulton did appear at ringside for the November 22nd NXT tapings in Ottawa but he did not wrestle.
