Bully Ray has promised payback against Bobby Roode for what happened in Nashville at the TNA Headquarters last week.
Eric Young & Abyss was fighting outside the building. ODB was cheering her husband EY on. They fought into the arena & down into the ring. Abyss hit EY with a Black Hole Slam & choked EY out by using a chain & the ropes.
Ethan Carter III VS Bobby Lashley: EC3 was walking out on the match & Willow attacked EC3 from behind. The ref called for the bell. Willow placed a steel chair around EC3’s leg & stomped on it. Willow climbed atop a ladder but EC3 managed to get out of the way before Willow could jump off onto him.

Samoa Joe talked to MVP. Joe was frustrated with MVP. Joe mentioned that Eric Young was on his way to the hospital. MVP said he will fix this & find someone to be chained to Abyss during the World Title match. Joe told MVP that every time he tries to fix something it only seems to get worse.
Angelina love in the back. She was asked if there will be a Beautiful People reunion. She said tonight we will see where Velvet Sky stands.
EC3 confronted Magnus in his locker room & asked Magnus where he was while he was being assaulted by Willow. Magnus made a joke about EC3 getting beat up by a clown. EC3 said Magnus’s business relationship with the Carter family is terminated. Magnus said he could have told EC3 that because he got everything he needed from Dixie & he doesn’t need her anymore. EC3 told Magnus to watch what he says about Aunt D. Magnus said Abyss is all he needs & will ever need. Magnus said EC3 & Samoa Joe will find that out & told EC3 to set & watch the Championship match.
Gunner came to the ring & talked about being proud of beating James Storm at Lockdown. Gunner talked about being proud of being a Marine & serving his country & proud of all the veterans. Gunner thanked his father who was sitting in the front row. Gunner came over to his father & thanked him & his family fro their support & making him the man he is. Gunner talked about promising he would be World Champion one day. Gunner told his father that he loved him & hugged him. James Storm came out drinking a beer. Storm said it was rude of Gunner to not have introduced him to his father after all he has done fro him & making him a star. Storm introduced himself to Gunner’s father. Storm talked about Gunner’s father crying in the video on Gunner & Gunner’s father’s dad dying when he was young. Storm told Gunner’s father that his dad is looking down from heaven & looking over & thanking God that he is dead, that he’s not here to see his son & grandson become huge disappointments. Gunner hit Storm & they started fighting. Storm nailed Gunner with a Last Call superkick. Storm handcuffed Gunner to the ropes. Storm grabbed Gunner’s father & dragged him over in front of Gunner. Storm walked away & then came back & bashed Gunner’s father over the head with a beer bottle.
Gail Kim in the back talked about Lei’D Tapa costing her the Knockouts title & the match last week. Gail said if Tapa doesn’t beat her tonight then she is done with Tapa which means Tapa is done in Impact Wrestling.
The BroMans & DJ Z talked to Sanada & Tigre Uno in the back about their tag title match. The BroMans said they need to get to a club so they need the match to be quick.
Lei’D Tapa VS Gail Kim: Gail got the win.
MVP talked to Willow somewhere in the back. MVP asked Willow about being chained to Abyss during the World title match. Willow said he is his own man & he will strike when it’s his time. Willow turned MVP down.
Angelina Love came to the ring & called out Velvet Sky to get an answer about reforming the Beautiful People. Velvet talked about Angelina being her mentor & believing in her & talked about the bad times between them & Angelina holding her back. Angelina said she was sorry & she is a different person now. Angelina said she wants this to happen & thinks Velvet wants this to happen & the fans want it to happen. Velvet said there isn’t many people who you can trust. Velvet said the Beautiful People are back in full affect & they hugged. Angelina said there is a 3rd piece missing & called out Knockouts Champion Madison Reign. Angelina extended the offer to Madison to rejoin them in the Beautiful People. Madison said she is not interested.
Magnus in the back talked about the title match against Samoa Joe & Abyss being chained to someone for the match. Joe came in & said he is going to make Magnus tap. Al Snow got between them & got Joe to leave.
TNA World Tag Team Championship Match: TNA World Tag Team Champions The BroMans VS Sanada & Tigre Uno VS The Wolves. The BroMans wanted Sanada & Tigre Uno to lay down for them. Sanada & Tigre Uno said no. The Wolves came to the ring & the match got started. The BroMans got the win to retain the titles.
The Beautiful People talking in the back about Madison Rayne & what she said to Angelina. Velvet told Angelina to go & talk to Madison.

Angelina Love talked to Madison Rayne in the locker room. Angelina said she is a different person now. Angelina said they will be equals. Madison said she will think about it. Angelina grabbed Madison by the hair & slammed her into the locker & kneed her in the gut. Angelina told Madison not to disrespect her & that her & Velvet are the Beautiful People.
MVP talked to Samoa Joe in the back. MVP said he will lead by example & he will be the one chained top Abyss for the World Title match.

Footage from earlier today of Bully Ray’s meeting with Dixie Carter in Nashville. Bully was talking to the back of a chair thinking Dixie was in the chair. Bully told Dixie that nobody like her. Bully talked about her coming to New York & offering him money to help Bobby Roode’s team win at Lockdown. Bully talked about his career flashing before him when Mr. Anderson Mic Checked him into the coffin. Bully said he didn’t want to go out like that & for that to be the way people remembered him. Bully said after that day in New York & Dixie trying to control him solidified it for him & that’s why he did what he did at Lockdown. Bully said Dixie doesn’t have his or the fans respect & Dixie is a nobody. Bully said he isn’t going to sit here & talk to the back of a chair any longer. Bully spun the chair & around & nobody was in it. Roode attacked Bully from behind & laid him out, hitting him across the back with a framed poster from all the wall. Roode told Bully that he screwed with the wrong man & that it wasn’t Dixie who invited him & that it was him. Roode told Bully “you don’t screw with Bobby Roode. Surprise!
In the back, Magnus asked Abyss if he was ready. Abyss said he has a surprise for Samoa Joe & MVP. Abyss dropped thumb tacks out of his hand & laughed.
TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match: Samoa Joe VS TNA World Heavyweight Champion Magnus: MVP was chained to Abyss at ringside. The ref got knocked out & Abyss hit MVP. Abyss got a bag of tacks from under the ring. MVP hit Abyss & took him down & got the bag of tacks. MVP unlocked himself from Abyss & tossed the bag of tacks away up the ramp. Abyss blasted MVP with a steel chair & laid him out. Joe went for a dive through the ropes & Abyss threw the chair at Joe stopping him. Magnus hit Joe with a elbow from the top rope. Magnus got the win to retain the title.
TNA announced that TNA President Dixie Carter would be holding a storyline “sensitive” talent meeting this afternoon.
They noted that Dixie has not been at the company’s office in Nashville since Lockdown, and that all of her communication has been done via phone or email. They added that “Dixie’s assistant requested that staff work from the TV Production offices from 12pm to 3pm to allow privacy for the meeting.”

Flash back to January 26th – you know the night well. The 2014 Royal Rumble with the winner going on to headline Wrestlemania XXX. Now picture this soundbite in your mind.
And the winner of the Royal Rumble – BATISTA!!!!
That makes it Randy Orton vs. Batista HEADLINING THE SUPERBOWL OF PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING?????. No, the cap lock didn’t stick – I was yelling at the preposterous idea of having such a lame match headlining what should be a historic event. I mean this the 30th Anniversary of where PPV Wrestling originated and they are giving us Orton vs Batista???
Now flash forward to March 10th on RAW. The #YesMovement, along with the most over Superstar in the WWE, Daniel Bryan takes over the ring and surrounding area, and The Authority makes their arrival. Before Bryan hands the show back over to Mr. and Mrs. The Game, he has his Wrestlemania match verse Triple H AND if he wins = the main event that night becomes a Triple Threat Match with Bryan joining Orton and Batista.
There is lots of talk and debate going on over whether or not this was the WWE’s plan all along (to that I’m calling BS) or whether the #YesMovement, meaning the fans, made it impossible for The McMahon’s to ignore there demands.
This part is a certainty, the fans have spoken! The WWE has heard them! And now we have a chance for Wrestlemania XXX to truly be a monumental event. Oh yeah, there’s the other recently added items, ie Hulk Hogan’s return, Taker vs Lesner, The Andre the Giant Battle Royal, and the fantastic Hall of Fame inductees.
However, I have to ask this question. Did giving in to Daniel Bryan make that much difference???
If you watched this past week’s live broadcast of TNA Impact, you should have noticed something that was missing – Dixie Carter. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Dixie for deciding to do what you do best. What’s that, you might ask? Being the behind the scene’s face of TNA.
With MVP firmly in charge of TNA now that his team defeated Team Dixie at Lockdown last Sunday, Thursday’s show was a huge improvement over the recent past in my opinion. Backstage, I don’t know how much input MVP actually has (in a Busted Open interview he said he has no contract and is working on a handshake and has creative input), but whether it be MVP, TNA Creative Head Dave Lagana, Dixie, or whoever but the pace was fast, the storylines were good and the crowd was hot all night long.
Now back to Dixie. I’m a huge fan of hers. I saved a short Direct Message on Twitter from Dixie that thanked me for a positive comment I sent to her about a show back in July of 2013. I want to see her succeed and I think having more than one major promotion is great for the business, so I want to see TNA succeed.
That said, I think the best way for TNA to move forward is to let Dixie do what she does best and that is behind the scenes and not in the ring (well and backstage since so much of the storyline parts are filmed backstage). Let the wrestlers, do what they do best – let MVP, Lagana and TNA Creative do what they do best (hold them accountable though) – and keep putting out the product you did this past week.
Do that, and those people up in the North East part of the country will have to take notice and when that happens, they have to step up their game. And the domino effect there makes it great for the fans. Don’t believe me? Do a little research on the Monday Night Wars. The fans were the winners in that war.

EC3, Rockstar Spud, The BroMans &DJ Z was walking backstage. EC3 was talking about Dixie Carter losing control of TNA. EC3 said there is one person to blame. They saw Bobby Roode & they blamed him. Roode said Dixie is to be blamed because it was her insurance policy that double-crossed all of them. Roode said since Dixie isn’t here they should blame Bully Ray. Roode said the minute Bully gets here they should kick his ass. They all agreed.
MVP came to the ring & said Dixieland is officially closed. MVP talked about the victory at Lockdown & Bully Ray. MVP said Bully will be given an opportunity to compete on equal footing just like everybody else. MVP said he has a MVP Principle – Motivate, Validate & Participate. MVP said he will attempt to motivate all the talent to do what is right & if they have a beef, he will validate the beef by giving them an opportunity to square the beef in the ring & if they are still out of line, since he is a hands on owner he will participate in the disciplinary action. Magnus interrupted & came to the ring & said the MVP Principle is the most ridiculous thing he has ever heard. MVP said even more ridiculous than your title reign. Magnus talked about beating Samoa Joe & remaining the World Heavyweight Champion & continuing the Reign of Magnus. Magnus said he is more powerful than ever & is about to show why. Magnus introduced his new associate Abyss. Fans chanted you sold out. Magnus said he agrees with the fans. Magnus said he doesn’t see Abyss as a freak to be exploited for his own personal gain. Magnus said Abyss is only part monster & that he is a machine. He said Abyss is not only motivated by destruction & devastation, he is motivated by money. Magnus said as the Champion he has money & he is sharing it with Abyss & that makes them the strongest force than anything MVP has dealt with. MVP said Magnus was getting his English ass kicked by Joe until he literally pulled a monster out of his ass so he could get the victory. MVP said he is going to do what is right & called out Samoa Joe. MVP said Joe is calm & not ripping out Magnus’s throat because he believes Joe went right after Abyss & took him down & hammered away on him.
Samoa Joe VS Abyss: Abyss pulled out Janice from underneath the ring & before he could use it on Joe, Eric Young came in & attacked Abyss. Abyss won by DQ.
Jeremy Borash in the back waiting for Bully Ray to arrive. Angelina Love came in & asked JB if he missed her & gave a wink toward the camera.
JB in the back & Willow appeared.
Brittany VS Gail Kim: Lei’D Tapa interfered but Brittany moved & Tapa hit Gail by mistake. Brittany got the win. After the match, Gail & Tapa got in a fight. Gail left the ring & told Tapa that she will be sorry.
Bully Ray arrived & was confronted by Rockstar Spud. Spud said Bully is going to pay. Bully was attacked from behind by EC3, The BroMans, DJ Z & Bobby Roode. EC3 told Bully that he embarrassed his family at Lockdown. Spud choked Bully with his own chain. Roode said Bully screwed him & he is going to find out why it pays to be Roode. Roode hit Bully over the head with a sign. Roode told Bully that you don’t screw with Bobby Roode.
DJ Z introduced The BroMans to the ring.

The BroMans & DJ Z got attacked in the locker room by Bully Ray. Bully took them out.
Samuel Shaw was in the back & appeared to be talking to Christy Hemme but couldn’t see who he was talking to. Shaw said he isn’t a creepy bastard & talked about winning at Lockdown. He asked Christy to accompany him to the ringside & watch him end Ken Anderson & then the world will see & understand the true meaning of their relationship. Shaw seen the camera & yelled at the cameraman & asked if he/she has a problem.
Willow was seen hanging out somewhere up in the building.
Rockstar Spud talked to EC3 in the back about paying tribute to Dixie Carter.
Samoa Joe talked to Eric Young in the back. Joe said EY’s revenge is crossing over into his business. Joe said he understands & is going to give EY a pass but if he gets in his business again there will be a problem. EY said he doesn’t care about threats & that it’s not about revenge. it’s about a mistake he made turning Abyss into this & he has to fix it. EY said he is sorry he got in Joe’s business but Abyss is his problem. EY said he talked to MVP & Joe will face Magnus for the World Title next week & that Abyss will be there & he will be there also chained to Abyss.
Rockstar Spud & EC3 came to the ring with a huge picture of Dixie Carter & placed it on a easel. Spud said they are in mourning of Dixie losing control of TNA operations & now it is in MVP’s hands. Fans chanted boring. Spud was crying. Spud said tonight is about Dixie. Spud said he is the big man that he is because of Dixie. Spud said thank you Dixie & a Dixie tribute video was showed. Spud pulled out a speech he wrote & begin reading. MVP came out & said this ridiculousness is over. MVP said Spud hads kind of grown on him & talked about Spud being loyal to Dixie. MVP said if Spud can be loyal to her then he could be loyal to him & this company. Spud said he is the Chief of Staff. MVP said they no longer need a Chief of Staff & that Spud needs to fulfill his TNA contract as a wrestler. Spud said he can’t wrestle. MVP mentioned that Spud won British Bootcamp. Spud said the wrestlers are bigger than him including some of the Knockouts. MVP motivated Spud & got he pumped up & wanting to fight. MVP said Spud will face Willow. Spud said no. EC3 laughed at Spud. MVP referred to EC3 as EC3PO & said he should laugh because next week he will face this man & Bobby Lashley came out. EC3 said MVP can’t motivate him to participate against a man who is not on the roster. MVP said his first act as director of wrestling operations in TNA was to sign Lashley. Spud got started yelling at Lashley & poking him in the chest. Lashley took the picture of Dixie & hit Spud over the head with it. Spud curled up on the mat with the picture & caressed it. Fans chanted Dixie’s lapdog. EC3 & Lashley stared at each other & EC3 bailed from the ring.
JB talked to EC3 in the back. EC3 said he is going to tear Bobby Lashley’s knee to shreds just like he did to Kurt Angle. Bully Ray attacked EC3 & laid him out.
Samuel Shaw came to the ring with the upper half of a mannequin that looked like Christy Hemme.
Street Fight: Samuel Shaw VS Mr. Anderson: Anderson took advantage of Shaw’s obsession with the mannequin. Anderson got the win.
Angelina Love in the back, she said that she is back for one simple reason & one special person & to not go anywhere if you want to find out who & what.

Angelina Love came to the ring & said her life has changed a lot since she has been gone & she has grown wiser. She talked about her Dad & that he told her, you don’t really realize what you have until you don’t have it anymore. She said she missed the fans. Angelina called Velvet Sky out to the ring. They hugged. Angelina said if it wasn’t for Velvet she wouldn’t have the success that she had. Angelina talked about The Beautiful People & that it’s time to put the team back together. Velvet said that she has moved on. Angelina said The Beautiful People has unfinished business & now they could be great. Velvet said she loves Angelina but needs more time to think.
Rockstar Spud VS Willow: Willow has Spud tied upside down in the corner & nailed him with his umbrella. Spud won by DQ. After the match, Willow laid out the ref with a Twist of Fate. Willow set up a ladder in the ring. Willow placed Spud’s leg in a chair & stomped on it. Willow climbed the ladder & hit a big splash on Spud. Spud was screaming in pain. Fans chanted they want more. Bully Ray made his way to the ring as Willow was leaving.
Fans chanted Bully Ray. Bully said he didn’t think he would here them chanting his name. Bully said they say that when you die your life flashes right before you. Bully said when Ken Anderson Mic Checked him into the coffin his career flashed before his face. Bully said he intended on coming out here & give a good reason for doing what he did at Lockdown but the minute he got here Bobby Roode, EC3, The BroMans & that lapdog made this physical. Bully said he saved Roode from himself because if Roode would have won that match, Roode would have taken control of the company & would have turned into another Dixie Carter. Bully said the last thing the wrestling business needs is another Dixie. Bully said he’s taken out all of Roode’s guys & he wants to do what he does best & fight Roode right now. Roode came out & they went at it. Bully took Roode down with a big elbow. Bully got a table & set it up in the ring. Roode hit Bully with a spinebuster. Roode tried to put Bully through the table with a Roode Bomb but Bully escaped & hit Roode with a cutter. Bully powerbombed Roode through the table.
Last night on Impact Wrestling live from Universal Studios, Angelina Love returned to IMPACT after a two year run on the independent circuit which included a short stint with the all-female wrestling promotion “SHINE wrestling”. You can watch the segment below.
