Jeff Jarrett has announced his new wrestling promotion – Global Force Wrestling.
Jarrett issued a mission statement:
“WWE have built a brand over the last 50,60 years. And truly, WrestleMania weekend is the perfect example of just how global their brand is. Professional wrestling has been around since the advent of television, there is definitely room, space for a brand new promotion to come on to the scene. And we’re going to put out the very best product that we can. Our mission statement is going to be, right at the very top, that we are going to put out a professional wrestling product that listens to the fans, engages the fans. We are going to immerse out selves with the wrestling fan and that is going to be first and foremost.”
Jarrett also said – “What we’re going to deliver is a multi-platform, innovative brand that will engage fans in ways they’ve never experienced. It will provide a fresh perspective inside the business that fans have been clamoring for.”
After taking the beating of a lifetime, and even escaping from being strapped on to a gurney by the WWE medical staff, Daniel Bryan made Bautista tap out to the Yes Lock and become the WWE Heavyweight Champion.
We are very happy to announce that instead of having a Wrestlemania pre-show on Sunday, we have now switched that to a Wrestlemania XXX POST-SHOW.
That’s correct, you will get to hear all the results from Wrestlemania XXX for our very own Vanessa and Ed at our D.T.R.T. Wrestling Podcast site, immediately following the show.
Tag Team Tables Match: Bobby Roode & Ethan Carter III VS Bully Ray & Willow: Bully & Willow hit some classic Hardy Boys & Team 3D spots – Whisper in the Wind, What’s Up & Get the Tables. Rockstar Spud came down in a wheelchair & Willow dropkicked him & carried him away. Bully was left to fight Roode & EC3 by himself. Roode put Bully through a table with a spinebuster. Roode & EC3 got the win. After the match, Roode put Bully through another table with a Roode Bomb. Roode & EC3 placed Bully on a table & Roode hit Bully with a splash off the top rope sending Bully through the table.
Kenny King arrived in a golf cart & was told he doesn’t have a match scheduled for tonight.
Magnus arrived & was asked where Abyss was. Magnus said he & Abyss have never been more on the same page.
In the back MVP talked about what’s on tonight’s show. Kenny King came in & MVP told him that he was busy & he would catch up with him later.
Straight Jacket Match: Mr. Anderson VS Samuel Shaw: Anderson called Shaw a creepy bastard. Shaw said he is not a creepy bastard. Shaw said he creates art with his precious hands. Shaw said Anderson is ordinary & the worst crime is to be ordinary. Shaw said Christy Hemme loves him. Anderson hit Shaw & the match got under way. Shaw choked out Anderson & placed the straight jacket on Anderson. Shaw got the win.
The Beautiful People in the back talked about their match with Madison Rayne & whoever she chooses as her partner.
Footage from earlier today of Eric Young talking about the World Title match. EY said he has earned this Title shot & he will prove tonight why he deserves it.
Sanada & Tigre Uno came out for their X-Division championship match but before the match could start Kenny King interrupted & came down to the ring. King talked about how he is the X-Division. MVP came down & said King is acting crazy interrupting his show. King said it can’t be MVP’s show because MVP isn’t the biggest star in the ring & that he is. King said he should be main eventing Impact. MVP said the show is all booked up. King wants a exhibition match with MVP to show him what he’s got. MVP said no. King bumped MVP as he was leaving the ring. King asked MVP once again for the match. MVP said it will be an exhibition match if he doesn’t whip King’s ass.
X-Division Championship Best-Of-3 Series: Match 1: Tigre Uno VS X-Division Champ Sanada: Sanada got the win. Sanada leads 1-0.
In the back, Magnus said he is about to show us Abyss like we never seen him before.
Brittany approached Magnus Rayne in the locker room. Brittany wants to be Madison’s partner against The Beautiful People. Madison said she can’t put her in that situation against them. Brittany said she needs that opportunity. Madison decided to let Brittany be her partner.
Magnus came to the ring & called out Abyss, calling him a handsome devil. Abyss came out wearing a suit. Magnus said Abyss looks like a winner because he is associated with a winner. Magnus talked to Abyss about the 4-Way World Title match. Magnus said him & Abyss aren’t going to square off because they are a team, best buds. Magnus mentioned to Abyss the name of James Mitchell & Eric Young. Magnus said he is different, he’s a Brit & British people have a hard time expressing their emotions. Magnus told Abyss he loves him & hugged him. As they were heading up the isle, EY attacked Abyss. Magnus Abyss brought EY to the ring & beat him down. Samoa Joe came down & cleared Magnus & Abyss from the ring. EY told Joe that he doesn’t need his help & to stay out of his business.
MVP talking to The Wolves in the back. Robbie E came in with a TNA trainer & a letter for MVP saying the Tag Team Title match isn’t happening because Jesse got injured while he was working out.
Video: Knux tries to work out issues with his Dad. His Dad wants his help with the family business.
The Beautiful People VS Madison Rayne & Brittany: The Beautiful People got the win.
Exhibition Match: Kenny King VS MVP: The ref had to call for the bell because they would break. 2 other refs came out to pull them apart. No Contest.
Magnus talked to EC3 in the back, he was nice- sucking up to EC3. Magnus asked EC3 if he has his back tonight. EC3 said he doesn’t know why Magnus needs him because he has “The Monster” Abyss in his pocket. EC3 said Magnus is afraid that Abyss might take the championship from him. Magnus asked yes or no if EC3 has got his back. EC3 said whose to say & wished Magnus good luck.
In the back Kenny King was talking about his match he just had with MVP. MVP attacked King. The Wolves broke it up.
TNA World Heavyweight Championship 4-Way Match: Samoa Joe VS Eric Young VS Abyss VS World Champ Magnus: Abyss hit EY with a Black Hole Slam & thought about pinning him. Magnus told Abyss not to pin EY. Abyss did what Magnus wanted. Magnus hit EY with a elbow drop from the tope rope. Magnus got the win to retain the Title.
The WrestleMania XXX press conference opens up live from the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square in New York City. Josh Mathews welcomes us and we see members of the press and some fans waiting for things to begin. Mathews brings in The Bella Twins to discuss the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational at WrestleMania XXX. They both agree that AJ Lee will lose her title. Nikki says she will win the title but Brie says she’s taking home gold. Brie then talks about Daniel Bryan’s surprise return on RAW and Nikki talks about John Cena’s match against Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania.
Mathews brings Summer Rae in next. Mathews asks about her issues with Brie. Summer acknowledges that she still has a lot to prove to everyone. She says she does want to become Divas Champion at WrestleMania and is excited about the match. Summer leaves and Brie asks Mathews who would make a better champion – Brie or Nikki. Mathews brings up the idea of being co-champions. Mathews brings in Mark Henry next. Henry talks about looking forward to WrestleMania Axxess and the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The music starts up and Mathews sends us to the main stage where Michael Cole is starting the press conference.
Cole welcomes us and plugs WrestleMania. He talks about the significant economic impact that the event brings to communities. Cole introduces Stephanie McMahon next. Stephanie talks about some of her early WrestleMania memories and talks about WrestleMania XXX airing on the WWE Network. She says WWE’s legacy will be immortalized with the Network, which represents forever. Stephanie plugs some of the community events that are planned for New Orleans this week. She talks about how much heart the WWE Superstars have. Stephanie tells everyone to join them and enjoy the ride.
Cole comes back out and introduces Hulk Hogan, saying he has main evented 1/3 of all WrestleMania events. Hogan tries to get the audience hype. Hogan also talks about WrestleMania coming full circle. Hogan says he’s really happy to be home and asks “whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?” Hogan says he’s been saying that for 30 years and tries to get some of the people in the crowd to say it but they barely play along. Hogan ends it with some poses. Cole comes back out and introduces Triple H.
Triple H jokes about having to follow Hogan. He hypes WrestleMania and says he’s a fan. He talks about WWE stars wanting to make history at WrestleMania and brings up NXT. He says NXT is where the dream starts. He mentions The Wyatt Family, The Shield and Big E, calling him Big E Langston. Triple H says they will be living their dream at WrestleMania on Sunday. This year, a new crop of NXT talents will participate in WrestleMania Week, then watch WrestleMania XXX with hopes and dreams of making it to that stage. Triple H plugs some of the WrestleMania Week content that will air on the WWE Network. Triple H says unfortunately for Daniel Bryan, his dream intersects with Triple H’s and that won’t work out well for him. Triple H says only The Game is forever. He thanks everyone and Cole comes back out.
Cole talks about how the Yes Movement has spread and introduces Daniel Bryan. Bryan has to unbutton his suit jacket to do the “yes!” gesture but the media doesn’t play along. Bryan did get the biggest pop so far from the few fans in the back. Bryan talks about his dream and says he’s here because of the Yes Movement. Bryan says it’s so cool being a part of this. He says people have way more power than we think. Bryan says he has an opportunity to truly go out and live what he dreamed of as a kid on Sunday. Bryan asks if he can do that and has one word for us… yes! Bryan thanks everyone and says WrestleMania is going to be awesome. Cole comes back out and introduces Batista.
Batista makes a joke about how quiet it is. He finally gets the crowd to make a little bit of noise. He says this is awkward and he really doesn’t want to be here. He points out the script they gave him and says it’s stuff he never would say and whoever wrote it shouldn’t have a job. He says they should be fired, unless it was Stephanie who wrote it. He says Bryan looked funny in his suit and picks on him for chanting “yes!” with nobody doing it along with him. Batista points out the awkward silence. Batista says he had time in between movies and decided to come back and be champion. Batista mocks fans that boo him and says he will wear skinny jeans every week to piss them off. This gets a laugh from the crowd. Batista says at the end of the day he’s a pro wrestler and that’s what he loves. He says being a part of WrestleMania XXX in the main event is special to him. Batista says to take a good look at him because it’s the last time we’ll see him not as champion. He leaves and actually got a better rise from the crowd than anyone so far.
Cole comes back out and says Batista’s speech was interesting. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton is out next with his titles. Orton says Cole forgot to point out that he’s the face of WWE also. Orton says nobody can stop him. Orton hypes the match again and Cole brings out Batista, Daniel Bryan and Triple H to stand with Orton for an awkward, uncoordinated photo-op. Orton and Batista leave so Bryan and Triple H can have a photo-op of their own. A “yes!” chant starts up in the back and Triple H gestures that it will be a “no!” for Bryan at WrestleMania. Cole comes back out and introduces John Cena.
Cena also jokes on the media being quiet and calls Batista’s speech a wonderful display of spoken word. Cena talks about spending the morning with Hogan on Good Morning America. He also talks about how WrestleMania has evolved and will be available everywhere with the WWE Network. Cena says he hopes Bryan kicks Triple H’s teeth out at WrestleMania. Cena says WrestleMania is 30 years old but this Sunday’s event is revolutionary. Cena does a Hogan impersonation and asks us where are we gonna be, brother, this Sunday. Cena made no mention of his match against Bray Wyatt. Cole brings out Triple H, Stephanie, Bryan, Batista, Orton, Hogan and Cena to the stage for a big photo-op. They pose for a few minutes before The Great Khali, Mark Henry, the Divas, Big Show and others come out for one more photo-op. That’s it for the press conference.
The rumors of CM Punk and AJ Lee getting engaged are true. No word yet on when they will be getting married but AJ is reportedly moving to Chicago soon. You can see a photo of the ring below from last night’s match on RAW
MVP came to the ring & talked about having a level playing field. MVP said he has made an executive decision. Magnus & Abyss came down. Magnus reminded MVP that Abyss works for him not TNA or MVP. Magnus said the only time Abyss is in the ring is when he is in the ring. MVP talked about being handcuffed to Abyss last week & getting to experience Abyss’s violence. MVP said he isn’t going to fire Abyss or is afraid of him but if Abyss lays his hands on him like that again he will show Abyss another side of him, MVP the most viscous predator. MVP asked Abyss if he wants something great. Magnus said he doesn’t like where MVP is going with this. MVP asked Abyss if he would like a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Magnus said MVP can’t do that. MVP said Magnus said that Abyss can only be in the ring when he is & that Magnus will be standing right next to him & that maybe Magnus will get a Black Hole Slam. MVP said with the World Title on the line we will find out where Abyss’s loyalty lies. MVP said there is somebody else he can’t forget about & said next week Magnus will defend his World title against Abyss & Samoa Joe in a 3-Way Dance. Samoa Joe came to the ring & was upset because he wants a fair shot at the Title. MVP said Magnus wont be able to control Abyss with the World title on the line. Joe told MVP that he is going to be able to control him in a few seconds. Magnus started to say something & Joe hit Magnus & went after him. Abyss pulled Joe off of him & MVP went after Abyss. Eric Young came down & went after Abyss. The show went to break.
Back from the break, EY in the ring with MVP & Samoa Joe. EY said he has a solution to MVP’s problem. EY said he has to be the one who stops Abyss. EY wants MVP to put him in the World Title Match. MVP said EY hasn’t earned it yet. EY said MVP is going to walk around her preaching Motivate, Validate & Participate. EY said Motivate – MVP has ben here 10 minutes, he’s been here 10 years. EY said Validate – he has had X-Division titles, TV titles. Global titles, Tag Titles & even Knockout Tag Title. EY said Participate – every crazy idea TNA has saddled on him he ran with the ball & knocked it out of the park & that some say he is the most entertaining wrestler in the world. EY said he is a world class pro wrestler & he will get what he deserves. Joe said EY isn’t at the head of the line & MVP hasn’t given him his one fair shot at the title & until he gets what he wants EY gets nothing. MVP said EY validated his case & added him to the World Title match next week. Joe & EY exchanged words & Joe shoved EY’s face & EY took Joe down & the brawled. MVP had a couple refs break it up. Joe told MVP to make a match of him VS EY for later tonight. MVP said they got it.
Bully Ray was in the back, he said Bobby Roode messes with the bull, he gets the horns. Bully said tonight Roode gets the tables, a lot of them.
In the back, The Wolves asked MVP for a match against Magnus & Abyss for tonight. MVP said he will make it happen.

The Wolves VS Magnus & Abyss: Magnus tapped out quickly. Wolves won by submission. After the math Abyss picked up the World title belt & walked right past Magnus without handed it to him.
Angelina Love came to the ring & said Velvet Sky hasn’t answered her calls all week & called her out so she can find out what her problem is. Velvet said that she is pissed off about Angelina attacking Madison Rayne last week. Angelina said she did it for Velvet. Velvet said she didn’t sign up for this. Angelina said Velvet is mediocre without her. Angelina said Velvet is soft & lost her edge & is on her way to becoming another forgetful face. Angelina said Velvet was somebody when she was in the Beautiful People & nobody messed with her or them. Velvet said a lot has changed around here. Angelina said Velvet is the only thing that has changed. Angelina said she had to sit at home for 2 years because she is apparently a headache but she rather be a headache & be blackballed by this business than to come here & be somebodies b*tch. Angelina told Velvet that by the end of her match with Madison, that Velvet needs to pick a side. Angelina told Velvet to commit because she wants to not because she told her to.
Footage fro earlier today of EC3 & Rockstar Spud continued search for Willow. They searched a barn. Willow grabbed Spud from behind & took off with him. EC3 didn’t know what happened. Willow could be heard belting out a wicked laugh.
Bully Ray came to the ring & motioned toward the entrance & people carried out several tables to the ring. Bully said he bought all the table they had. Bully said “do you know who I Am?” Bully said he is the guy who made sure Dixie Carter is no longer apart of TNA. Bully said if Bobby Roode would have won the match at Lockdown he would have ended up being like Dixie. Bully said the last thing pro wrestling needs is another Dixie. Bully said him & Roode have put each other through a table. Bully asked the fans if they want to see Roode go through 1 table, 2 tables, 3 tables, 4 tables, 5 tables. Roode came out & said the guy Bully screwed over at Lockdown doesn’t exist anymore. Roode said the opportunity to become a owner blinded him & made him forget exactly who he was but he remembered. Roode said he is the guy who became the longest reigning & most dominate World Heavyweight Champion in the history of this company. Roode said he is the guy who smashed a beer bottle over his best friend’s head & the guy who spit in the face od Dixie before it became cool. Roode said he is the guy who tricked Bully last week in coming to Nashville to the corporate office just to give Bully a taste of his own medicine. Roode mocking Bully asked the fans “do you know who I am?” Bully told Roode to get in the ring & fight. Roode said that’s so pathetically typical. Roode said Bully doesn’t call the shots he does & he says when & where. Bully said no & that he says when & where & the fans said right now. Roode said it isn’t going to happen & headed toward the back. Bully ran after him & attacked Roode from behind & brought Roode back to the ring. Bully & Roode fought. Bully charged at Roode but Roode sidestepped him & tossed Bully into a table in the corner. Bully was knocked out.
Abyss brought Magnus his title belt to him in his locker room. Abyss was upset that Magnus tapped out so quickly. Magnus said he will do that if the title isn’t on the line. Abyss said he doesn’t like losing. Magnus said when he hired Abyss he made it clear that it was about him retaining the World title. Magnus said next week he has to win & his opponents has to lose & one of his opponents is Abyss. Magnus told Abyss to not let MVP get in his head & screw him up because Abyss will end up being somebodies freak show.

Angelina Love VS Madison Rayne: Velvet Sky came down to ringside during the match. Velvet & Angelina argued throughout the match. Velvet attacked Madison on the outside & hit her with a DDT & rolled her back into the ring. Angelina got the win. The Beautiful People celebrated.
Eric Young talked to ODB in the back about his match with Samoa Joe.
Kenny King talked to MVP in his office. MVP had nothing for him this week but will find a spot for him next week.
Samoa Joe VS Eric Young: Joe got the win with a rear-naked choke. EY didn’t tap he was choked out. After the match Ref Earl Hebner came out & told his son Ref Brian that Joes shoulders were down during the submission.

Footage from last Thursday of Samuel Shaw cut a strand of Christy Hemme’s hair. Shaw thanked her & said that is all he needed. Christy was terrified & crying. Mike Tenay said Shaw was suspended for one week.
Announced for next week is a Straight Jacket Match: Samuel Shaw VS Mr. Anderson – plus a Tables match involving Bully Ray, Willow, Bobby Roode & EC3.
Unlocked Match: “Cowboy” James Storm VS Gunner: NO DQ – No Count Out – Falls Count Anywhere: Gunner got the win after hitting Storm over the head with a beer bottle.
Footage from earlier today. EC3 found Rockstar spud tied up on a bed. Willow attacked EC3 from behind, he beat him down with his umbrella & left. EC3 said if Willow wants to play games, then game on.
