WWE Releases Diva Aksana, Teddy Long And Others

It’s that time again where WWE starts making cuts due to what one would assume is money. It was announced today that numerous superstars have been cut from the flagship that is wwe. Those names include Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, (guess that means no more 3MB) Brodus Clay, Curt Hawkins, Yoshi Tatsu, Teddy Long, Camacho referee Marc Haris and Evan Bourne.

However the stand out cut for me and the one that’s bothering me most is diva Aksana. With her being gone means that there’s only 2 girls left from NXT season 3 and that’s Naomi and AJ (but then again no one really knows what’s going on with AJ)

see it’s a sad moment for me because NXT season 3 is what got the flame going again for my love of divas. (It was how I discovered Kaitlyn (and we all know how much I love her)

Aksana was hilarious playing the ditzy foreign blonde who later became her pro’s (Goldust) wife to only betray him. Then when she got to the main roster she became Cesaro’s manager only to be betrayed by him. (What goes around comes around right)

To me Aksana was someone that was always underused. Sure she may have injured Naomi but accidents happen and she still had potential in my eyes so truly I’m sad to see her go. In fact I’m sad to see them all go, because in truth they are were great talents that were poorly used. One has to wonder if we’ll see any of them in TNA anytime soon?

The other question that has to be answered now is who will take Aksana’s place in being Alicia Fox’s side kick?

Update On MVP’s Knee Injury

MVP

 

MVP said he plans on doing everything he can to be able to wrestle TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young this Sunday at Slammiversary. MVP didn’t have an MRI done on his knee because doctors determined that surgery could wait until after he tested his injured knee in the ring. He started putting weight back on his knee & hopes it will be good to go for Slammiversary.

MVP has confirmed that TNA officials are working on a backup plan if he is not able to wrestle.

Daniel Bryan Will Not Be Cleared For Money In The Bank

F4Wonline.com has confirmed the earlier report that Daniel Bryan will not be cleared to defend his WWE World Heavyweight title at Money In the Bank.

Bryan learned this bad news from his doctors this past Thursday or Friday and WWE officials were made aware also. It’s expected that Bryan will be officially stripped on RAW tonight and that the Money In the Bank Ladder Match will officially be announced for the title.

It’s said that officials have already decided on who the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion

Samoa Joe returns & speaks out against MVP. MVP makes a match between Samoa Joe & Austin Aries, where the loser is gone from TNA.

 

 

Bram VS Willow: Bram got a pry bar from under the ring. Magnus came to the ring & stopped him from using it. Magnus took the pry bar & beat down Willow with it himself. Winner – Willow by DQ

 

MVP in the back with The Wolves & MVP put them in a match against each other.

Davey Richards VS Eddie Edwards: Edwards rolled up Richards for the win. Winner – Edwards  After the match Kenny King said it wasn’t good enough & wanted to strip them of the Tag Titles. The Wolves took out their frustration on King before King could escape & crawl up the ramp.

 

Madison tells Brittany that she doesn’t want her help & to not do anything.

MVP gives referee Brian Hefner some instructions for the Samoa Joe VS Austin Aries match. He wants a clear winner.

The BroMans & DJ Z in the ring. They talk about The Menagerie. Robbie E is afraid of clowns. The Menagerie came to the ring. The Menagerie ends up tossing The BroMans & DJ Z out of the ring.

 

Eric Young & Bully Ray talk to Referee Brian Hefner about doing the right thing. Hefner said he has to do what is right for his family. Bully said they will have to do what they need to do.

Gunner visits Samuel Shaw in the mental hospital.

Contract VS Contract: Austin Aries VS Samoa Joe: Eric Young came out & pulled Ref Brian Hefner out of the ring, said they have to do waht they need to do. He want Hefner to do the right thing. Bully comes out & decks Hefner. MVP, Bobby Lashley & Kenny King came out. Bully challenged them & EC3 to a 8-Man First Blood match against him, EY, Joe & Aries. MVP didn’t want it but King quickly accepted.

 

Mr. Anderson mocks James Storm but Storm gets the last laugh.

TNA Knockouts Championship: Madison Rayne VS Knockouts Champ Angelina Love: Brittany came down to ringside. Velvet Sky interfered, she spayed hair spray in Madison’s eyes. Angelina rolled Madison up for the win. Winner – Angelina

 

Madison confronted Brittany in the back about why she didn’t stop Velvet. Brittany said she just did what Madison asked & did nothing.

 

8-Man Tag First Blood Match: MVP, Bobby Lashley, Kenny King & EC3 VS Eric Young, Bully Ray, Samoa Joe & Austin Aries: Bully wrapped his chain around his fist & nailed EC3 in the forehead & busted EC3 open for the win. Winners – EY, Bully, Joe & Aries

 

MVP, Lashley & King was beating up EC3 in the back. Dixie Carter came in & told them to stop. She said MVP has crossed the line. she said if MVP wanted a war then he has got one. She said she will make them all pay & tells MVP to get ready to bleed.

MVP Injured, Could It Cause TNA To Change Slammiversary Main Event?

Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that MVP suffered a knee injury at a Preston City Wrestling event in the U.K. It’s still unknown if he will be able to face TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young at Slammiversary next weekend until he gets MRI results back.

MVP appeared at the May 31st events that he was booked for overseas & he cut a promo as General Manager, where he apologized to fans for not being able to compete. MVP has been quite on Twitter & at TNA has not acknowledged it yet. Chris masters was on the same tour & on June 2nd posted a photo of MVP in a wheelchair.

It’s possible that TNA already knows an update on MVP’s condition & may insert something into tonight’s Impact broadcast but TNA could once again be facing major issues with a match due to taping several weeks ahead.

Is it the Summer of the 4Horsewomen?

It seems like every week there’s some news story involving the 4Horsewomen and the WWE. Like I’ve said before its obvious that the ladies have love and respect for the WWE, and that love is given back to the ladies by quite a few members in the WWE locker room. It’s now being reported via wrestling observer, PWmania. wrestleZone and other various wrestling news sites that a 4Horsewomen appearance can very well be happening in the near future. When I say near I mean like two months from now. Yep it’s being said that the heels of WMMA may have some involvement in WWE’s 2nd biggest PPV of the year “Summerslam”

Given that its Summerslam is being held Los Angeles CA for the 6th straight year and the fact that all of the 4Horsewomen will have a clear schedule (Rousey’s next fight is July, Baszler’s Aug 2nd, Duke just had her fight and same with Shafir) the possibility is not a stretch at all.

So could this be it? The moment us WWE/UFC more specifically 4Horswomen fans have been waiting for? I mean can you imagine Rousey or Baszler cutting a promo with their “entourage” behind them just staring their fo down? Just thinking about it gives me chills.
As far as Summerslam goes it takes place August 17th so there’s still time to set the appearance in stone

As more news comes to surface about this ever growing rumor we here at DTRTwreatling will keep you posted.
