Former WWE & TNA Star Chavo Guerrero Jr. will be working in a backstage role & performing for El Rey Network’s new Lucha Underground series with Mexico’s AAA promotion.
Former TNA stars, Frankie Kazarian & The Young Bucks have reportedly turned down deals for the series.
Former WWE talents Ezekiel Jackson, Maxine & Savannah were offered deals. Reportedly today is the last day for those offered deals to sign them.
Reports are that some talents have been hesitant to sign the deals because of the length of exclusivity, the lack of guaranteed money & the inability to work indies without approval from Lucha Underground officials. Some talents have been offered $750 per match while others have been offered just $200 per match.

Sinn Bodhi, who has been with Jake “The Snake” Roberts in Las Vegas all week, gave a update on Jake’s medical condition oh his Facebook page last night:
“UPDATE on Jake The Snake Roberts: Jake is NOT in a coma! Please don’t believe crappy gossip… Jake still has Phnemonia. He is not getting enough oxygen so he has been sedated and put on a ventilator… (Sedated only because the procedure is painful). Doctors have to wait & see how he responds before they can continue with MRI & other tests as the Ventilator is inhibiting bu nessecary… And until the Phnemonia is cleared up it is preventing Docs from seeing what the underlying problems are. Docs can only speculate on how long he will be in this state. #GetBetterJake You can leave Jake Get-well messages on Twitter @JakeSnakeDDT”
WrestlingINC.com noted before that Jake’s lawyer said in a statement that Jake was induced by doctors into a “coma-like state”in order to effectively treat his pneumonia.
