Backstage Talk On Possible GFW Invasion Of TNA, More On Jeff Jarrett’s TNA Return, HOF

Jeff Jarrett’s return at last night’s TNA Impact Wrestling was kept a big secret. There was no mention of his return in the script or even a gap left in it. TNA’s script had no blanks gaps, so the segment that had been written in the script in that spot had to be edited out.

Jarrett is expected to be around TNA a lot more after this Sunday’s King of the Mountain Match at the Slammiversary pay-per-view. There’s a feeling within TNA that some sort of Global Force Wrestling invasion angle could be in the works, but that has not been confirmed, it’s just a feeling backstage last night.

Dave Meltzer speculated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Jeff Jarrett’s TNA return could include a Hall of Fame induction. AJ Styles had recently turned down TNA’s Hall of Fame offer.

WWE Reportedly interested in UFC’s Jessamyn Duke

The Latest rumor of the rumor mill has me geeking out like no other.

It is being reported on various news sites but more noteably the Wrestling News Observer that people within the WWE are interested in women’s Batemweight fighter Jessamyn “the Gun” Duke

The feeling is that Triple H believes that the success Ronda Rousey has had in the UFC and even in her WrestleMania appearance for the WWE proves that women can main event or at least be a more important factor to the business.

It is being said that not only does the WWE have intrest in Duke but they also have ideas already written out for her. For what it’s worth the WWE has already started their own version of the 4Horsewomen which includes Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Bayley and Becky Lynch. The original 4horsewomen was a fan proclaimed idea that took the MMA world by storm that includes Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir

It’s said that if the WWE does indeed sign Jessamyn it would be as a contestant in diva search a reality based competition where the next WWE diva is chosen essentially based off looks and skill to go with it.

All of this is just hear say at the moment but it is something to think about. Jessamyn is currently 1-2 in the UFC having lost her last two fights with a professional record of 3-2.

Jessamyn Duke’s next opponent will be Elizabeth Phillips whom she defeated once before as an amateur. The bout is scheduled to take place July 25th at UFC fight night in Chicago. Jessamyn will be returning to the cage after a year being out with a hand injury and waiting to get the call back

Wether this happens are not it should be noted that Duke does have a love and respect for the business so I think she would make a great fit to the roster. Only time will tell but for now the octagon is where you’ll see her

You can follow Jessamyn on Twitter @jessamynduke she’s awesome I promise.
