DJ Z Undergoes ‘Major Surgery’ For Fractured Colon And Internal Bleeding

dj z injured hospitalized the crash video ambulance

Impact Wrestling star DJ Z underwent “major surgery” on Thursday for a fractured colon, as well as internal bleeding — this according to a close friend and fellow wrestler.

Z was rushed to a hospital last night in Mexico City after he was badly injured by a 450 splash gone wrong — and his buddy Gringo Loco went with him to the ER.

Loco posted an update on Facebook saying, “After a sleepless night and countless documents to get this all under way, DJ Z is going into a major surgery as I write this. He’s been coherent and talking the entire time but in excruciating pain every minute.”

He adds, “After numerous exams, they found that the colon was fractured and bleeding internally, which was causing all the pain and discomfort. They’re going to try to repair it first and if that doesn’t work, it only gets more complicated. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.”

UPDATE: Loco posted another update saying DJ Z is out of surgery. He explains, “The procedure went well and has just arrived to the recovery room. He’ll have to be observed here 3-5 days depending on his recovery. But the doctor assured me he’ll eventually be out of the woods.”

Aron Rex/Damien Sandow No Longer With Impact Wrestling

In an interview with Title Match Wrestling at WrestleCon this past weekend, Aron Rex, f.k.a. Damien Sandow, revealed that he is no longer with Impact Wrestling. Rex, who debuted a new Liberace-esque gimmick in Impact Wrestling last October and was a part of their television tapings this past January, hinted at possibly retiring.

“I don’t know if this is going to be it for me, because you know I’m no longer with Impact,” Rex said. “Ending on this note is not a bad thing. I’m not saying that I’m never going to get in the ring again, but this is pretty cool and I’d much rather have people remember me for all the good stuff.”

Rex is best known for his run as Sandow in WWE from 2010 – 2016. He debuted with Impact Wrestling in August of 2016 and became the company’s first Impact Grand Champion.

Jeff Jarrett On Impact Wrestling And GFW ‘Becoming One’, His WrestleMania Moment, Future Plans

Jeff Jarrett was interviewed at WrestleCon by former WCW ring announcer David Penzer for Hannibal TV. Here are some of the highlights:

How it feels to back with the company he created, and future plans for Impact:

“I can’t give you all the plans, but we’re all as a team very excited. A lot of guys are coming back on-board, and we’ve got a lot of things going on with Global Force Wrestling and Impact Wrestling, as we sort of figure how how we’re going to put the pieces of the puzzle together so to speak. Just last week as a part of the new organization we announced that we’re going to be doing WOS over on ITV over in the United Kingdom. A lot of things have happened in the past 60, 90 days. Spike TV in the UK made an announcement and that launches April 21st.”

Whether Global Force Wrestling is alive and well:

“Oh, absolutely. In the weeks and days, months, however that saying goes, more will come out, but yeah, Global Force and Impact are becoming one day-by-day.”

If he has a WrestleMania moment.

“You always gotta remember when you win a title or defend a title, but me and Scott Hall, which is ironically about 30 feet right there (he pointed off camera), I think it was 13 in Hartford, Connecticut (it was WrestleMania 11), Bam Bam Bigelow and the football with Salt-N-Pepa, it was the first time I got to defend a major title on WrestleMania.”

Broken Matt And Brother Nero Drop TNA Tag Team Titles Into The Lake Of Reincarnation (VIDEO)

reincarnation lake hardys tna tag titles video

House Hardy have dropped the TNA tag team titles into the Lake of Reincarnation to get a new set of belts … and the brothers had some choice words for their former employer in the process.

Broken Matt released the video Tuesday night which features he and his brother debuting new titles of their own and putting down Anthem/Jeff Jarrett for the way they were treated on the way out.

The description of the video reads, “After exerting everything within our VESSELS to make TNA trendy and cool again, we were betrayed by the OBSOLETE OWL. Since we carried the TNA Tag Titles to a CELESTIAL plane, as well as becoming greater than our host, the #7Deities mandated that I REINCARNATE these OBSOLETE Titles.”

The description also references his trademark battle with Impact Wrestling: “Rebecca, like Jeff and I, did many things for this brand because we’re upstanding beings. #HouseHardy will now continue to soar to new heights while the OWL fades away and classifies itself as OBSOLETE.”

Paige Wanted To Physically Harm Herself After Recent Cyber Bullying, Paige & Alberto El Patron Getting Married

Paige and Alberto el Patron announced on social media that they are getting married this Wednesday. Paige, who was a victim of being hacked and having personal videos and photos leaked online, acknowledged how tough it has been for her since the leak and said that there were days that she wanted to “physically harm” herself.

You can read her full statement below:

“I made a big mistake. Huge. I put trust in the hands of someone that took advantage of a young girl years ago. It was my mistake and I’ll always take responsibility. But the one thing that was the hardest was thinking “my husband is gonna leave me” “my family will disown me” but I’m blessed beyond words to have a family and a husband that stuck by me because they know who I am. They know I’m not a bad person and they held my hands through hell. Because as my husband says “you may feel like the devil is throwing you into a storm, but just remember, you are the storm”. And he’s right. But we are human. Unfortunately people don’t see it that way when they are behind a keyboard. They don’t think that we have feelings or that we don’t suffer. Not only was I a victim of viral humiliation but a victim of cyber bullying.

I had days where I wanted to physically harm myself. Not only for what millions was telling me but because my family and my husband were suffering the same fate from the internet because of my mistake. It made me and Alberto to wonder how people who aren’t as mentally strong as us can handle this? How many people have to suffer because of the internet and the cowards behind the keyboard.

Or how many men and women have fell into the same trap as me and made those mistakes?

That’s why we are taking this massive negative and making some kind of positive. We wanna bring those people to justice and also take down the ones who are trolls, with the lack of a better term.

Bring awareness. Bring help to those who don’t have the tools or the mental strength to do this themselves. To show men and women alike to always think about their future before they do something like this that may cause a butterfly effect later on in life. Now I know through all of this is..

No one will make me feel bad about my mistakes, I already know what they are and I already feel bad. But Alberto and I together can also make a change. My mistake could help people’s future. Think. Before you act.

Anyways. Onwards and upwards. Only happiness. No longer talking about anything. Just looking into the future and being happy! I mean come on, I’m getting married? How can I not be happy!!!!”
