Young Bucks File Trademark For ‘The Wayward Sons’ Amid AEW Return

The Young Bucks have filed a trademark for the term ‘The Wayward Sons’ ahead of their impending AEW return.

The former AEW World Tag Team Champions have been missing since All Out 2022 for their role in the backstage fight.

In recent weeks, AEW has teased the return of the Bucks and Kenny Omega, who was also suspended after All Out.

According to recent filings, Killing the Business Inc., The Young Buck’s LLC, filed a trademark on the term ‘The Wayward Sons’ on November 3.

The term references Kansas’ 1976 hit ‘Carry on Wayward Son,’ from the band’s fourth album Leftoverture.

Jeff Jarrett Makes AEW Debut On Dynamite, Takes Out Darby Allin

Jeff Jarrett has officially made his debut with All Elite Wrestling.

WWE Hall Of Famer Jeff Jarrett debuted last night on AEW Dynamite.

His debut happened after Darby Allin lost a match to Jay Lethal. A fake Sting showed up towards the end of the match and the person was revealed to be Cole Karter.

The lights went out after the match and Sting’s music played but someone snuck up behind Allin and hit him with a guitar. It became clear after this that it was Jeff Jarrett.

Jarrett cut a promo, where he called himself “The Last Outlaw” and spoke about his family’s history in the wrestling business. Jarrett said that his father and grandmother’s fingerprints are all over AEW and before he gets done, there will be “full body bags.” He said Allin’s “worship” of Sting was his biggest weakness. AEW Stars Refusing To Work With CM Punk If He’s Brought Back

Following his actions at the AEW All Out event, when he ripped Colt Cabana, The Elite, and Hangman Page at the media scrum before getting into an altercation with The Elite, it seems unlikely that CM Punk will ever step foot inside an AEW ring again.

The only issue holding up Punk’s departure is AEW’s agreement to buy out the remainder of his contract is the length of the non-compete clause. Punk’s friend and trainer, Ace Steel, has already been fired by AEW for his involvement in the fight.

Chris Jericho allegedly told Punk that he was a cancer to the locker room following the All Out altercation.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “many, if not most of the key top names were saying that they wouldn’t work with him.”

A top star said that “Punk won’t be back. His value on screen isn’t one percent worth the hassle and black cloud he causes backstage.” Another star noted “regardless of some being willing to work with him, the collective decided that he was voted off the island.”
