Bronson Reed Defeats Roman Reigns in an Australian Street Fight

Perth’s own Bronson Reed earned the biggest win of his career, knocking off Roman Reigns in a wild Street Fight that turned the arena into a playground of destruction.

Reigns opened strong, controlling Reed with signature strikes and even working in some local flavor — wielding a cricket bat, rugby ball, and trash can like a one-man sports montage. But Reed’s power eventually broke through, and things escalated fast once Bron Breakker stormed out to spear Reigns through the barricade.

The Usos made a shocking return to even the odds, briefly helping Roman regain control, but a chaotic sequence ended with Jey accidentally spearing his own cousin through a table. Reed capitalized, hit a crushing Tsunami splash, and pinned the “Tribal Chief” in front of his home-country fans.

Post-match, Reigns tore into Jimmy and Jey for disobeying him, saying he “didn’t need their help” and ordering them to stay away — at least until Christmas. It was a meltdown that could mark another fracture in The Bloodline’s story.

Stephanie Vaquer Becomes WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Champion

La Primera made history again, defeating Tiffany Stratton in a technical, hard-hitting match to claim the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

The two women traded chain wrestling early, showing off crisp counters and athleticism before the match turned physical. Stratton found her rhythm mid-way with her signature handspring elbow and power offense, but Vaquer’s precision striking and submissions slowly wore her down.

After surviving the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, Vaquer connected with a beautiful corkscrew moonsault to seal the victory. Triple H presented her with the championship belt and ring, and a visibly emotional Vaquer delivered a heartfelt promo thanking fans for believing in her journey. Perth responded with a thunderous “You deserve it” chant — and they weren’t wrong.

John Cena Tops AJ Styles in a Classic Showcase

For longtime fans, this one was pure nostalgia — and pure class. John Cena and AJ Styles revisited their legendary rivalry in a match that felt like a greatest hits album for both men.

Cena showed respect from the start, handing ring announcer Alicia Taylor a handwritten intro for Styles, referencing his TNA and Bullet Club accolades. What followed was twenty minutes of tight, competitive wrestling — reversals, callbacks, hitting each other with a lot of famous finishers of wrestling greats and a whole lot of near falls.

One cool moment came when Cena paid homage to Bray Wyatt with a Sister Abagail to Styles which caused the fans to bring out the fireflies.

Styles unleashed a full arsenal of classics, including the Phenomenal Forearm and Styles Clash, but Cena kept kicking out. In the end, a top-rope Attitude Adjustment followed by one final AA did the job. The two embraced post-match as the crowd gave them a standing ovation — a true love letter to their shared history.

Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY Defeat The Kabuki Warriors

Hometown hero Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY united to take down Asuka and Kairi Sane in an electric tag team bout that blended Japanese aggression with Aussie attitude.

The Kabuki Warriors isolated IYO early, cutting off the ring and punishing her with pinpoint strikes. But once Rhea finally tagged in, the match flipped fast — Ripley bulldozed both opponents and nearly finished Sane with a RipTide before chaos took over.

After a series of counters and double-teams, Ripley hit the RipTide and SKY followed with her trademark moonsault to score the win. The Perth crowd roared for Ripley, who celebrated with her championship belt and IYO after the match.

Seth Rollins Wins the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship Over Cody Rhodes

In a main event that had “match of the night” written all over it, Seth “Freakin’” Rollins finally overcame Cody Rhodes to capture the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Both men wrestled like they had something to prove, trading technical holds early before turning the bout into a slugfest. Cody nearly had it won after a springboard Cutter and CrossRhodes, but a referee bump changed everything.

Rollins, torn between his ego and his conscience, ultimately gave in to the darker side — cracking Rhodes with his diamond watch before hitting two Stomps (one from the top rope) to secure the three count.

After the bell, Rollins celebrated with Triple H and delivered a fiery promo calling himself “the greatest of all time” and “a Visionary. A Revolutionary. Seth Freakin’ Rollins.” Stephanie Vaquer joined him in the ring for the closing moment — the two new Crown Jewel champions standing tall as fireworks lit up the Perth sky.

Tony Khan Says Collision Was Last AEW Event At Daily’s Place Until After Renovations

AEW is saying goodbye—for now—to one of its most meaningful homes. Company president Tony Khan has confirmed that this week’s AEW Collision taping at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, was the final event the promotion will hold there before the venue undergoes extensive renovations.

Daily’s Place holds a special place in AEW’s history. Connected to EverBank Stadium—the home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars—the open-air amphitheater served as AEW’s primary base during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. With travel restrictions and crowd limitations affecting live events, the company essentially made Daily’s Place its home arena, producing a full year of Dynamite episodes there from 2020 through 2021.

Khan, whose family owns the Jaguars, is closely tied to the future of the facility. The amphitheater and adjacent stadium are both publicly owned, but Shahid Khan—the Jaguars’ owner and Tony’s father—played a key role in financing the complex. The current construction project, dubbed the “Stadium of the Future,” is set to reshape the area with sweeping renovations expected to continue through 2028, carrying an estimated price tag of $1.3 billion.

Daily’s Place originally opened in 2017, making it one of Jacksonville’s newer entertainment venues. Despite its short history, it’s become a major landmark for AEW fans—hosting everything from the Fight for the Fallen event in 2019 to numerous Dynamite and Rampage tapings.

This week’s Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite and the following Collision episode marked AEW’s final stop at the venue before work begins. While the company’s home base is temporarily out of commission, Khan made it clear that AEW’s relationship with Jacksonville is far from over.

Once renovations are complete, it’s safe to assume AEW will return to Daily’s Place—bigger, louder, and ready to make new memories in a rebuilt home that helped the company thrive during some of its most challenging early years.

AJ Styles Confirms 2026 Retirement: “It’s Time to Take Care of My Family”

The wrestling world is preparing to say goodbye to another modern legend. Hot on the heels of John Cena’s announcement that he’ll retire at the end of 2025, AJ Styles has revealed that he plans to hang up his boots in 2026.

During the WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff Show, “The Phenomenal One” opened up about his decision to step away from the ring after nearly three decades in the business.

“I’m getting old, folks,” Styles told fans. “If I could find the fountain of youth and take a couple sips, I’d wrestle for the rest of my life, but the fear of embarrassing myself is getting closer. There comes a time when you’ve got to take care of business—and when that’s done, it’s time to take care of your family.”

For Styles, that family time has become the next big priority. At 48 years old, the veteran performer admitted that the dream of every wrestler is to someday retire on their own terms—and he’s determined to do exactly that.

While Styles didn’t outline every detail of his final stretch in WWE, he’s hinted that a WrestleMania 42 appearance in Las Vegas is likely. Before that, fans can look forward to one more major showdown—Styles vs. Cena—at Crown Jewel, a match being promoted as their last encounter inside a WWE ring.

Styles joined WWE in 2016, making an unforgettable debut in the Royal Rumble before quickly becoming one of the company’s cornerstone stars. In less than a decade, he captured every major title available to him—the WWE, United States, Intercontinental, and Raw Tag Team Championships—earning Grand Slam Champion status and respect across the industry.

As the countdown to 2026 begins, Styles has also hinted at staying involved with WWE in a backstage capacity after retirement. Whether he’s mentoring the next generation or contributing creatively, “The Phenomenal One” seems poised to leave his mark on the business long after his final bell rings.

Taz Announces Temporary AEW Commentary Hiatus for Shoulder Surgery

AEW commentator and ECW legend Taz is stepping away from the broadcast table for a while to focus on his health. After calling Tuesday night’s Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite, Taz revealed on X that he’ll be undergoing total shoulder replacement surgery in the near future and will be “off for some time.”

The former ECW World Champion assured fans that this isn’t a permanent goodbye, closing his message with a simple promise: “See you soon.”

This isn’t the first time Taz has had to take time off for surgery. Around this same time last year, he underwent knee replacement surgery. AEW used an on-screen angle to write him off television then — an attack that set the stage for his son, Hook, to feud with Christian Cage and The Patriarchy. Taz returned to the company later that year, receiving a hometown welcome at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

This time, however, AEW has opted not to use a storyline to explain his absence, and there’s currently no word on how long Taz will be sidelined. The company’s schedule doesn’t include any New York events for the rest of the year, though Full Gear is set to take place just across the river in Newark, New Jersey, on November 22 — a show that could mark his eventual return if his recovery goes smoothly.

Taz joined AEW in its early days as a manager and transitioned to the commentary desk full-time in mid-2022, where his sharp analysis and signature sense of humor have made him a fan favorite. Most recently, this past August, AEW honored Taz with an induction into the Hall of Fame at Philadelphia’s iconic 2300 Arena — the historic home of ECW. In a classy move, Taz requested that the planned segment be kept off television so that airtime could instead go to AEW’s current roster.

For now, the Human Suplex Machine is focused on recovery, but fans can rest easy knowing Taz fully intends to return to the booth once his shoulder is healed and ready to go.
