Toni Storm Returned To AEW On Dynamite ‘Winter Is Coming’

Toni Storm has returned to All Elite Wrestling.

On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite ‘Winter Is Coming’, Storm made her return following the Mariah May’s successful AEW Women’s World title defense against Mina Shirakawa at the end of the show.

Storm’s classic music hit. She returned with her trademark baseball bat and black eye makeup, gone was the “Timeless” Tony Storm gimmick.

Thunder Rosa, who was sitting at ringside, was holding up a “WTF” sign and May locked eyes with the returning Storm, her glare speaking volumes as tension mounted. Storm struck a pose at the top of the ramp, making it clear that her intentions are far from subtle.

This dramatic return sets the stage for a major showdown in AEW’s women’s division. With Storm back in the mix, Mariah May’s reign could be in serious jeopardy. It’ll be interesting to see how Thunder Rosa, May, and the rest of the division respond to Toni Storm’s return.

Bronson Reed Set For Surgery Today

WWE Superstar Bronson Reed is headed for the operating table as he undergoes ankle surgery today, following the brutal injury he sustained at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Shotzi Returned To NXT

Tuesday night’s WWE NXT delivered a surprise return as Shotzi stormed back from injury to even the odds against the dangerous duo of Fatal Influence—Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx. After months on the shelf, the former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion made an emphatic statement, standing tall alongside Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolan.

Numbers Game and a Sneaky Assist

Before the match, Tatum Paxley hinted at a surprise ally during a backstage conversation with Gigi Dolan—just before being rudely interrupted by Shawn Spears. Paxley reassured Dolan not to stress over Fatal Influence’s potential numbers advantage. However, that advantage quickly came into play.

During their tag team showdown, Jazmyn Nyx managed to divert the referee’s attention long enough for Women’s North American Champion Fallon Henley to strike. Shotzi’s return marks the end of a lengthy recovery from an ACL injury suffered back in February during an NXT Women’s Championship match against Lyra Valkyria. Originally expected to miss around nine months, Shotzi used her time off not only to rehabilitate her knee but also to address lingering back issues. The powerhouse competitor even sought stem cell treatment in Mexico, further aiding her recovery.

What’s Next for Shotzi?

Shotzi’s return injects new energy into the NXT women’s division, and her alliance with Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolan may spell trouble for Fatal Influence moving forward. Tony Khan Confirms TV Deal Talks for ROH

Since purchasing Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2022, Tony Khan has worked to breathe new life into the historic promotion. Operating primarily as a streaming brand under the AEW umbrella, ROH has carved out its niche through weekly content and a loyal subscriber base. Now, it seems the company could be on the verge of its next big step: a television deal.

Speaking on Sports Guys Talking Wrestling, AEW and ROH CEO Tony Khan confirmed that he’s actively negotiating for a TV partnership.

“There’s a great opportunity to grow Ring of Honor as we grow AEW,” Khan said. “AEW just secured this huge media rights deal, and it’s a complementary thing to have another great wrestling promotion with that history. I do think there’s a lot of interest right now in Ring of Honor. I’ve had great conversations about TV partnerships with ROH.”

Signs of Momentum for ROH

One notable clue pointing to Khan’s pursuit of a TV deal is Chris Jericho’s involvement as ROH World Champion. Jericho recently defeated Mark Briscoe on AEW Dynamite in October to kick off his second reign with the title. The last time Jericho held the ROH World Championship in 2022, there were similar rumors about the promotion being shopped for a television deal. Injury Update on WWE Star Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed’s WWE run has hit an unfortunate pause following a serious injury at Survivor Series WarGames last month. During the high-stakes match, Reed broke his foot after an awkward landing while delivering his signature Tsunami Splash. The injury has now led to Reed reportedly needing surgery, with multiple sources suggesting he’ll be out of action for quite some time.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Reed’s condition, revealing that fans shouldn’t expect to see the big man back in time for WrestleMania 40.

“He’s not expected back for WrestleMania. It’s expected to be a long time,” Meltzer said.

Backing up this report, PWInsider noted that Reed has already arrived in Birmingham, Alabama — the go-to location for WWE talent needing surgery. While there’s no exact timeline for his return, it’s clear the injury is significant enough to keep Reed sidelined for months.

Reed’s Rising Momentum Halted

Before the injury, Reed was in the middle of a strong push from WWE. His presence in the WarGames main event was a clear signal of how highly the company viewed him, as he joined Solo Sikoa and the New Bloodline as a last-minute powerhouse addition.
