Last night on RAW, Stephanie & Shane McMahon announced their GM’s for RAW and SmackDown Live. Stephanie introduced WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley as her GM for RAW. Shane introduced big fan favorite Daniel Bryan as his GM for SmackDown Live.
Stephanie also announced that there will be a Cruiserweight Division exclusively to the RAW brand.

Cris “Cyborg” Justino is no longer married to Bellator fighter Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos, but she still cares very deeply for him. Over the weekend, Santos was injured in a loss at Bellator 158 to Michael Page, suffering a fractured skull. While Bellator has agreed to pay medical expenses for the Brazilian, the Invicta FC featherweight champion has taken matters into her own hands.
A GoFundMe account was created to help assist Santos with his recovery. Several fighters have already donated to the cause, including Nate Diaz and Chael Sonnen. Santos is set to see another doctor on Monday to determine surgery in either the U.S. or the United Kingdom.

With the WWE Draft taking place Tuesday on the premiere of SmackDown Live on the USA Network, WWE has revealed its official rules, regulations and procedures.
According to WWE.com, the rules for the WWE Draft are as follows:
RAW has the first overall pickSince SmackDown Live is a two-hour show and RAW is three hours, for every two picks SmackDown Live receives, RAW will receive three picks
Tag Teams count as one pick unless a Commissioner/General Manager specifically only wants one member of the team
Six draft picks will be made off the NXT roster

The two biggest names not on the list are The Undertaker and Triple H. It’s also worth noting that while Brock Lesnar is eligible to drafted, Paul Heyman wasn’t included like other talent attached to a Superstar.
Other omissions from the list of eligible Superstars include injured wrestlers Emma, Luke Harper, Nikki Bella, Tamina and Tyson Kidd. Ryback and Rosa Mendes are also not listed.

Roman Reigns’ WWE suspension ends this week after the WWE television tapings. While Reigns will not be appearing at Tuesday’s WWE Draft show, he is scheduled to return to action this Saturday at the WWE live event at the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, NJ.

Saturday night in Louisville was the final NXT live event before the WWE draft this Tuesday. As noted, in the main event, Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, American Alpha & Bayley teamed up to defeat Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, The Revival, Alexa Bliss.
After the five celebrated and did Nakamura’s post, Finn Balor took the mic and asked if someone left a door open because he feels a “draft”. He then says he has no idea what will be happening with the upcoming draft.
Balor went on to say that we will see everybody that performed here tonight at Wrestlemania at some point in the future. He goes around the ring and names himself, Nakamura, Bayley, Gable and Jordan, and says that they are NXT.

The New York Department of State, the body that governs the New York State Athletic Commission, issued the following statement to WrestlingINC.com in regards to questions about whether the NYSAC would prevent Brock Lesnar from performing at WWE Summerslam in Brooklyn, New York, on August 21. Due to a potential violation of USADA policy, related to drug-testing for his fight at UFC 200, Lesnar may be suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission. There have been questions about whether New York, which also regulates pro wrestling, would enforce that suspension at Summerslam.
In 2002, New York State passed legislation that scaled back the regulation of “professional wrestling” in many respects based on a recognition that the activity is entertainment rather than bona-fide athletic competition. Under current New York State law, “professional wrestling” is defined as wrestling “primarily for the purpose of providing entertainment to spectators and which does not comprise a bona fide athletic contest or competition” (NY Unconsolidated Laws section 8928-b[1]). As such, the State does not license individual wrestlers, and Mr. Lesnar is not a licensee of the New York State Athletic Commission. In the context of “professional wrestling,” as defined above, the State licenses only the promoter, such as the WWE. Per New York law, among other health and safety requirements that apply to the licensing of a promoter, the event promoter is required to have a physician examine each wrestler and determine whether each wrestler is medically fit to participate.The question of whether Mr. Lesnar is fit to participate in a “professional wrestling” event is one that will be determined by the application of the professional medical judgment of the examining physician, the policies of the WWE, and the choices made by Mr. Lesnar with regard to his own participation leading up to the event date.
It seems the state is confirming it wouldn’t prevent Lesnar from participating in pro wrestling events such as WWE Summerslam due to an MMA suspension, because New York doesn’t license individual wrestlers, and his participation is merely up to the physician, WWE and Lesnar himself.
New York requires all pro wrestling events to have a medical physician present, who determines whether wrestlers are medically fit to participate. WWE provides their own ringside physicians, such as Dr. Chris Amann.
Via WWE The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Brock Lesnar of a potential policy violation, stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected on June 28, 2016, according to a statement released by UFC on Friday afternoon and reported on by ESPN and other news sources
The UFC released the following statement
“The UFC organization was notified today that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has informed Brock Lesnar of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collection on June 28, 2016. USADA received the testing results from the June 28, 2016 sample collection from the WADA-accredited UCLA Olympic Analytical Laboratory on the evening of July 14, 2016.
“USADA, the independent administrator of the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case. It is important to note that, under the UFC Anti-Doping Policy, there is a full fair legal review process that is afforded to all athletes before any sanctions are imposed. The Nevada State Athletic Commission also retains jurisdiction over this matter as the sample collection was performed in close proximity to Lesnar’s bout at UFC 200 in Las Vegas.
“Consistent with all previous potential anti-doping violations, additional information will be provided at the appropriate time as the process moves forward
Brock Lesnar has not performed for WWE since WrestleMania and is not scheduled to return until Sunday, Aug. 21.
Even though WWE doesn’t have a whole lot of depth in their tag team division (in my opinion), Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE has plans to split up a few established tag-teams with the WWE draft this Tuesday on the premiere episode of SmackDown Live.
I can see them splitting up the Lucha Dragons, Breezango or The Golden Truth, but I think it would be a mistake to split up teams like The New Day, The Wyatt Family, The Club, The Dudley Boyz & The Usos.
