The 4Horsewomen ride into WrestleMania

it was reported via WrestlingInc.com that UFC Women’s Battemweight Champion Ronda Rousey will be in attendance for WM31, along with fellow UFC fighters Shayna Baszler and Jeasamyn Duke and thier training partner Marina Shafir.

The last WWE event the girls attended together was Summerslam last summer and they even helped Stephanie McMahon with the ALS Ice Bucket Challange.

One question remains though, are the 4Horsewomen just attending as fans or could it be something more??? Only time will tell.

Charlotte interview

It’s WrestleMania weekend and former NXT women’s champion sat down with Between the ropes radio show for an interview.

In this interview Charlotte discusses how the women in NXT are constantly proving themselves, how she believes the women in NXT are what sparked the #GiveDivasAChance movement, what it meant for her to wrestle Natalya on Monday night Raw and so much more

It’s a great interview and I highly suggest you check it out

Vanessa’s thoughts on the HOF

For the first time in a few years I actually had the opportunity to watch the Hall of fame induction ceremony in its entirety curiosity of the wwe network for $9.99 anyway going into this HOF the inductions I was most excited for were the Macho Man Randy Savage and Conor “the crusher” Michalek.

Macho man because he was a part of the first wrestling match I ever watched as a kid on a VHS tape that belonged to my brothers when he took on warrior at WrestleMania 7. I remember being at least 5 years old sitting in front of the television in ahh of the larger then life characters in front of me. Plus Macho Man is the guy responsible for my love of slim Jims.

Now with  Conor I was just purely happy that the WWE would honor such an amazing child. Not only that but as someone who’s lost a love one to the dreaded C word it hit close to home for me, and of corse the award it itself (the warrior award) meant a great deal to me.

As far as Macho’s induction goes it was awesome to see hulk hogan speak so highly about how Randy elivated his career then to see Larry speak on how great of a human Randy was and his contributions to the special Olympics warmed my heart. The only gripe I had about the induction is that it should’ve been the one to close the show.

On to the Crushers Induction. As soon as the video of conor started rolling it instantly felt like I was in a room full of onions. When listening to Dana talk about her husband Warrior’s death and how it took a part of her but she didn’t move on rather move forward it reminded me of a time in my life when I felt the exact same way. Watching her speak I couldn’t help but think about warrior’s smiling face. Then it came time for Brayn to speak. One thing that stood out to me most was when Bryan said “what I do isn’t real and if I inspire you that’s great and all but inspirations are what’s real and one of the biggest inspirations in my life was Conor. Then the greatest thing happened, the entire crowd stared chanting Conor. Tha moment in time made me proud to be a wrestling fan. Then Bryan went on to speak about how strong Conor was and how you never would’ve known he was sick. There were many great things Bryan spoke on but I would mauve rather have you watch then read my banter.

Then it was time for Steve (Conor’s father) to talk about his son. He told a story about how durring Conor’s final days almost everywhere they went people knew who Conor was and Steve told his son “gee buddy you’re gonna be a celebrity some day to which Conor replied “don’t you know I’m going to be famous one day” and now thanks to the WWE and it’s fans Conor is indeed famous.

The induction that I surprisingly highly enjoyed was the speech of Alundra Blayze. I say surprising because I didn’t grow up watching Alundra but her speech reminded me of way I love women wrestling. The best part was when a trash can was brought on stage and she began to pull out various things from it but the one thing that probably made any Madusa fan or women wrestling fan mark out was when she pulled out the women’s title that she had thrown in the trash after jumping ship to WCW. Then Alundra says “that’s a Damn good looking title huh? That’s a women’s wrestling title! I kid you not my reaction was f*** yeah!

Every introduction weed amazing and I want to just say once more congrats to all the inductees this year.

Larry Zbysko

Fujinami

The Bushwakers

Conor the crusher Michalek

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Alundra Blyze

Rikishi

Macho Man

Kevin Nash

They all deserve it and I couldn’t be anymore happy for all of them. If you didn’t watch the HOF this year subscribe to the network and do so. I promise it’s worth it.

An exclusive look at this years Hall of Fame ring.

WWE.com has exclusive photos of the ring that this years HOF class will be be presented with tonight and soon be wearing around their fingers.

The new ring is different from those of the past. It bares a striking resemblance to the WWE world Heavyweight title. I personally prefer the previous years ring design but I don’t absolutely hate this one either. You can check out the pictures here http://www.wwe.com/classics/wwe-hall-of-fame/2015-wwe-hall-of-fame-rings-photos

And don’t forget to tune into this years Hall of Fame exclusively on the WWE Network starting with the red carpet special at 4PT/6CT/7ET followed by the induction ceremony at 5PT/7CT/8ET

Sting’s future

Sting did a interview with The Associated Press today and revealed that this will probably be his last match saying that he has to be realistic.

Seems like the stinger knows that age is a factor and he wants one last chance to preform for a crowd of wrestling fans before he’s unable to do so.

With this news coming to surface how do you think it’ll affect the match at mania and the WWE’s plans going forward?
