WWE Announced New Fines For Talents, WWE Talents Upset Over Royalty Checks
WWE announced a fining system that didn’t go over well with the talents. WWE is enforcing a dress code that talents must dress professionally when anywhere in public. Failure to do so will result in a fine. They are also said to be issuing fines if the talents are even just one minute late to the arenas.
It’s reported that a lot of the talents are unhappy over money right now. WWE mailed out quarterly royalty checks for the video games this past week & the people who usually receive around $70,000 for the first quarter received around $11,700 for this years first quarter. The second quarter checks were just mailed out, some believed part of the difference would be made up but it wasn’t. Most of the top level guys got $1,555 in those checks.

Why Kurt Angle Hasn’t Signed A New TNA Contract
Kurt Angle confirmed on Jim Ross’ podcast The Ross Report that his TNA contract expires on September 21st this year. Angle said TNA has offered him a new deal but he hasn’t signed it because his next contract will probably be his last & he wants to consider his options. Angle said he thinks he will be able to wrestle again in October.
WWE Stock, Linda McMahon, The Funkadactyls
WWE stock was down 0.17% today, closing at $11.58 per share.
The Stamford Daily Voice reports that Linda McMahon recently gave a $1 million gift to the Greenwich Hospital in Connecticut through the Vince & Linda McMahon Family Foundation to purchase 3-D mammography machines that will help with early detection of breast cancer.
The Funkadactyls, Naomi & Cameron have officially spit up after their fight on RAW Monday night. No word on what WWE has planned for them.
Sting Posted A Cryptic Message On Twitter
Sting posted a pair of cryptic tweets today referencing 7.14.14, which is Monday. It might be referring to the announcement of his appearance in WWE 2K15 video game.
BJ Penn announces retirement
Prior to last night the last time we saw BJ Penn in the octagon was in December of 2012 when he lost to Rory McDonald via unanimous decision. Many people wondered if BJ would make a return. Despite the lost from McDonald Penn is arguably one of the greatest lightweight fighters of all time & his record of (16-10-2) speaks for itself even if people don’t think it’s a good one because in some ways Penn really did break the mold.
It was his opponent from last night Frankie Edgar who had previously beaten him twice that convinced Penn to get back in competition in early 2014. Last night at the ultimate fighter 19 finally Edgar knocked out penn in the 3rd round.

BJ Penn is one of the few fighters to hold a world title in multiple weight classes and he truly is a legend in his own right.

TNA Signed Sanada To A Joint Contract
Sanada has signed a joint contract with TNA & Wrestle-1.
Wrestle-1 announced today in Japan that Sanada has signed a deal with TNA but will still make appearances for Wrestle-1 in Japan as well.
