John Cena To Take Part In Tonight’s Hell In a Cell Pre-Show

With John Cena forced out of tonight’s “Hell In a Cell” pay-per-view the WWE has found a new way for John Cena to be involved with the show. Now that he is involved with the “AJ Scandal” Cena will be taking fans questions regarding the situation during the pre-show which will stream live on WWE.com, Facebook.com/WWE and YouTube.com/WWE starting at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT it will mark Cena’s first appearance before the WWE Universe since the new storyline began on Monday. Fans will be able to submit questions via Twitter, Tout and Facebook, using the hashtag #CenaPreShow.

 

 

 

Lillian Garcia Struck By a Car On Friday, Kept Overnight For Observation

WWE announced the following Saturday morning:

“SmackDown announcer Lilian Garcia is in stable condition at a Los Angeles hospital after being struck by a car on Friday afternoon.

“Garcia suffered multiple contusions and lacerations on the left side of her body, but she is expected to make a full recovery. Doctors have immobilized Garcia’s neck and will be keeping her hospitalized overnight to monitor her.”

TNA Recap: October 25 2012

In Hulk Hogan’s office, Hogan was talking to Jeff Hardy about Hardy defending the TNA World Title latter that night. Hardy said whoever Hogan chooses for him to face is in for a fight. Hogan thanked Hardy & wished him luck.

Jeremy Borash & Todd Keneley are on commentary the first hour.

X-Division Championship Match: X-Division Champ Rob Van Dam vs Zema Ion, RVD wins. After the match Matt Morgan attacked RVD with a big boot to head. Joey Ryan got in the ring & stood over RVD with RVD’s title belt & talked trash to him. Morgan told Hogan he should be careful in wishing to see another side of him.

Daniels & Kazarian came out to the ring. Kazarian said that they are victims of a conspiracy & that their tag team titles where taken from them illegally by 2 men who are probably illegals. They had a petition to get a title rematch that they wanted the fans to sign. Chavo Guerrero Jr. & Hernandez Came out, Chavo said they would be happy to help them out & give them a rematch. They get Daniels & Kazarian out of the ring & Chavo & Hernandez signed the petition & said anytime anyplace.

TNA World Title deliberations in Hogan’s office with Kurt Angle, Bully Ray, Mr. Anderson & James Storm. Anderson was the first to be eliminated. Austin Aries confronted Anderson as he left Hogan’s office. Aries said he was going to give him a shot when he was champion. Aries said he is a bigger a-hole than Anderson & they get into a brawl. Aries challenged Anderson to a match for the night. Before the show went to commercial you could here someone off camera yell CUT.

At the Aces & 8s club house Devon tells the other members at the table to not allow anyone to remove their mask. Devon said we got to take somebody out tonight & chose their victim by throwing a dart at a board with pictures of the TNA roster.

Television Championship Match: Robbie T vs Television Champ Samoa Joe, Samoa Joe wins.

More TNA World Title deliberations, Bully Ray was eliminated because he isn’t focused on the title. Bully said he was going to confront his brother Devon tonight & get some answers.

Mr. Anderson Vs Austin Aries, Aries wins after knocking out Anderson probably with a pair of brass knucks.

Backstage with Brooke Hogan , Tara & Tara’s boyfriend Jesse. Tara said that the ODB situation has to stop because last week she put her hand on her boo. Brooke told Tara that she has a title match & to get her head together.

Taz & Mike Tenay came out for commentary for the second hour.

TNA Knockouts Championship Match: Knockouts Champ Tara vs Miss Tessmacher, Tara wins. After the match Brooke Hogan came out & said next week is open fight night & ODB is calling out Jesse.

Joseph Park entered Hogan’s office & asked about getting a match with Aces & 8s. Hogan said he didn’t know because Park has only had one match. Park handed Hogan a waiver that doesn’t hold TNA Liable. Hogan said he would think about it.

Bully Ray came to the ring, Bully said he was totally shocked when Devon was unmasked & revealed to be with Aces & 8s. Devon then came to ring with some other Aces & 8s members, Devon said it has nothing to do with Bully & that it all has to do with Hogan. He said when his contract ran out Hogan, TNA & Dixie did nothing & Aces & 8s had his back. He said one by one they will take out everybody that did them wrong. Bully said that he will never forget the night when Chris Sabin kicked out of their finisher & Devon said to him that night, “Whats the big deal? We’re rich. Screw the fans.” Devon said that it was true. Bully said to get rid of the other guys & fight him. Devon said no, I’ll fight you when I decide to. Bully called Devon a coward & said that Devon has no balls. Bully said next week at open fight night he is going to call Devon out & will put him through a table.

Backstage Joey Ryan & Matt Morgan we’re asked about their attack on RVD. Ryan said that the rules don’t apply to guys like him & Morgan. Ryan said that maybe it’s time to put some gold around his waist.Morgan said this is Hogan’s fault & that from now on he will do whatever he wants & dares Hogan to try to stop him.

Hogan made his decision on who gets the title shot, he chose Angle & told Storm that he has something huge for him.

TNA World Championship Match: Kurt Angle vs TNA World Champ Jeff Hardy, Hardy wins. After the match Hardy raised up both the TNA World Title Belt & his custom made Belt & Aries attacked him. Aries announced he will like his rematch at Turning Point & walked out with the real TNA World Title Belt.

Devon & Aces & 8s attacked Angle backstage. A TNA official yelled for a doctor. Angle must have been who Aces & 8s chose to take out next.

JBL’s Frustration Over Slow Ring Setup at Smackdown Taping

At Tuesday’s “Smackdown” taping in Rhode Island JBL who serves as a commentator grew impatient with referees as they were setting up the ring for the broadcast. He took to the microphone to give them a piece of his mind and WWE cameras were rolling.

John Layfield is not one to shy away from speaking his mind and this unexpected and not planned outburst is a perfect example. You should hear him on politics!

You guys are taking all day! How slow are you? People are going to sleep out here and you guys haven’t figured out how to put a ring up

The WWE DIVAS ARE NOR JUST A PRETTY FACE

Hello, All
My name is Vanessa and 1st off let me say how excited I am to be writing for DTRT wrestling and sharing my thoughts with you fans. I hope you all will enjoy me as much as I will enjoy bringing my take to the table. Ok so now that I got the introduction out of the way lets get to the WWE divas shall we? Although the divas didn’t have a featured match on raw this week they still had a memorable moment. This weeks diva focus was a backstage segment. The segment started off with the WWE Divas champion Eve. She was seen on her cell phone talking to an unknown caller about “AJ’s allegations”. She started name dropping superstars AJ has been with in the past such as CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Kane. She even accused her of being with her former NXT pro Primo. All the while Kaitlyn is Eavesdropping on the conversation. She then confronts Eve asking “Who are you to throw stones? Of corse Eve is confused and maintains her innocence. Kaitlyn then confronts Eve with evidence that was found on Eve’s IPad on last weeks Smackdown. The evidence shows that Eve was indeed the one who attack Kaitlyn at Night of champions leaving her unable to compete. This of corse makes Eve furious. She yells at Kaitlyn saying she had no right to look at her personal belongings and that she was going to take it up with Smackdown GM Booker T. As Eve attempts to walk away in a fit Kaitlyn grabs her by the arm and utters the words that all us fans have been thinking all along. “Drop the nice little girl act Eve we all know your just a little with.” Eve quickly turns and Slaps Kaitlyn square in the face thus leading to one of those classic backstage brawls we fans all know and love. What would a classic WWE brawl be without someone getting thrown into a table of food and that one peace making always trying to break it up? That peace maker was none other the former divas champion Layla. Now we all know Layla and Kaitlyn have a friendship so of corse Layla would try and keep Kaitlyn out of trouble. As Layla attempts to pull Kaitlyn off Eve, Eve being the heel she is decides to defend herself against Layla. The one on one fight quickly turns into a good ol’ fashion triple threat. Eventually thy fight was broken up by WWE officials ending the segment. So that leaves me with two questions for all of you reading this today. Do you think this could lead to a triple threat for the title at hell in a Cell this Sunday? And if so which diva are you pulling for? A great heel that we have in Eve, The former champ or the fan favorite known as the NXT ROOKIE Kaitlyn??? Comment away guys. I’ll be back this Saturday with a Smackdown Divas review. Raw Recap: October 22 2012 – AJ Lee Resigns as GM

Michael Cole announced that Raw GM AJ Lee tweeted that she had been called to an emergency meeting at the WWE headquarters earlier.

Tag Team Tournament #1 Contender Finals: Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Team Rhodes Scholars, Team Rhodes Scholars win. They will face Team Hell No for the Tag Team Championship Sunday at Hell In A Cell.

New Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs Michael McGillicutty, Kofi wins.

John Cena made his way out to the ring, Cena talked about Hell In A Cell & CM Punks reign as WWE Champion. Cena said Punk was right  when before Punk became Champion – that there was going to be change. Cena said we will see change at Hell In A Cell in the form of Ryback. Cena said Ryback stands for one thing – destruction. Cena said the face of the WWE will change this Sunday. Punk with Paul Heyman came out, Punk said he has done everything he said he was going to do. He bragged about being WWE Champion for 337 days & that he is the best in the world. Punk promised he will walk out of Hell In A Cell as WWE Champion. Punk said he likes Cena’s role as Ryback’s cheerleader & that Cena realized that he can’t beat Punk. Cena said it’s not that he can’t beat Punk , it’s that he wasn’t allowed. Cena said he is now officially medically cleared & wanted to whoop Punk tonight, Punk made his way to the ring climbed onto the ring apron, Heyman talked Punk out of getting in the ring with Cena.

Antonio Cesaro vs Justin Gabriel, Gabriel wins.

Mr. McMahon & AJ arrived in a limo, AJ didn’t look happy.

Mr. McMahon & AJ in the ring.  McMahon said AJ had a meeting with the Board of Directors about her tenure as Raw GM. McMahon let AJ tell the results of the meeting. AJ said because of allegations that she had been fraternizing with a member of the Raw roster, she is resigning as GM. AJ said the allegations are false. AJ said some of her decisions may have been unorthodox & some people thinks she is unstable but she thinks some people just like crazy chicks. AJ talked about growing up just 15 minutes from the arena & that she had gone from being homeless to the boss, she thought she was always going to be a poor girl. AJ thanked the fans & Mr. McMahon. Heyman came down to the ring, he wanted McMahon to name him as the new GM of Raw, McMahon told him no. McMahon introduced Vickie Guerrero as the new Managing Supervisor of Raw. Heyman asked Vickie to undo McMahon decision of putting Ryback in the Hell In A Cell match against CM Punk. Vickie said Ryback is still going to face Punk at Hell In A Cell, & she booked Punk for the nights main event against Sheamus in the largest Lumberjack match in WWE history. Vickie said she knew all along that AJ wasn’t fit to be Raw GM. Vickie said AJ had an affair with a member of the Raw roster. Vickie ordered AJ to leave & go to the back & pack her bags. Vickie kept running her mouth & AJ pounced on Vickie & they brawled.

Ryback vs The Miz. Ryback wins.

Kaitlyn confront Eve backstage, she said she has proof that Eve was the one behind the attack on her. They get into a brawl & Layla came by & got involved until referees broke it up.

Daniel Bryan vs Dolph  Ziggler, Kane came down to ringside. Kane got the crowd chanting YES! Bryan didn’t like it & chanted NO!  Bryan got distracted, Ziggler attacked Bryan from behind & Ziggler got the win.After the match Kane & Bryan argued, Matt Striker came out & announced that Vickie booked them in a therapeutic game show against Team Rhodes Scholars & Strike was going to be the host. Striker had Bryan & Kane introduce themselves & they argued until Team Rhodes Scholars came out to the stage & said they would not take part in the game show. Striker announced Team Hell No as the winners do to forfeit. Striker headed up the ramp to the stage & said he doesn’t wish Team Hell No luck at Hell In A Cell. Big Show came out & grabbed Striker & tossed him across the stage.

Big Show vs Kane, Big Show wins. after the match Team Rhodes Scholars attack Team Hell No.

Cena came up to AJ backstage & told her to asked if there is anything he could do. AJ mentioned that Vickie said she had an affair & the person that the allegation of an affair is with is Cena. Cena said all we had was a business dinner. Cena said he will take care of it. Cena told McMahon that nothing happened between him & AJ – that it was just a business dinner.

Alberto Del Rio vs Zack Ryder, Del Rio wins.

Cena confronted Vickie backstage & called her a liar. Vickie said Cena’s girlfriend AJ can’t keep business from pleasure. Cena said it was just a business dinner. Vickie said Cena asked AJ out on Raw, went out with her & now AJ got what she deserved. Vickie said Cena cost AJ her job.

Punk & Heyman are backstage, Punk isn’t happy with the main event match & that he already misses AJ. Heyman told him not to worry about her. Heyman said that next Monday people are going to have to face the fact that Punk has defeated Ryback at Hell In A Cell.

Lumberjack Match: CM Punk vs Sheamus, Big Show choked slammed Sheamus which allowed Punk to get the win. After the match Ryback came to the ring Punk tried to leave but the lumberjacks threw him back in the ring Ryback slammed Punk. Punk tried to leave again but the lumberjacks threw him back in & Ryback slammed him again, Punk tried to escape again but was tossed back in the ring, Ryback pressed him over his head & tossed him out of the ring.

 

 

 

Why AJ Lee’s new creative direction is a positive

This week AJ Lee’s storyline as general manager ended. This was expected by most of those who follow April closely, she has mentioned on a few occasions that she missed being in the ring.

While her time as general manager was entertaining I missed her in regular matches showcasing her style and athletic abilities.

AJ’s wrestling abilities have not been seen in months and for those of us who know of her skills this has been one of the drawbacks of her doing the general manager persona.

I have not been impressed with how the WWE has handled their Diva’s. The fact is female wrestlers are just as skilled as male wrestlers and just as entertaining with storylines when allowed to do so.

AJ Lee is well trained in technical wrestling skills and her smaller size gives her an advantage with speed.

I hope we see the divas championship taken more seriously and we see AJ eventually work her way to become a legit champion with a main event worthy match being featured at an upcoming pay-per-view event.

There is no reason in my opinion why the divas division can’t be right up there with the other titles and divisions
