Intercontinental Championship: (C) Ryback VS Kevin Owens – Winner and new IC Champion Kevin Owens

Dolph Ziggler VS Rusev w/Summer Rae: The ref ejected Summer form ringside, she threw her shoe at the ref but it hits Rusev, knocking him back and Ziggler hit the Zig Zag for the win. – Winner: Ziggler – After the match Rusev made his exit walking right past Summer.

WWE Tag Team Championship: (C) The New Day VS The Dudley Boyz – Winners by DQ: The Dudley Boyz – After the match New Day beats down The Dudley’s and called for the tables but The Dudley’s fight back and put Woods through the table with a 3D.

Divas Championship: (C) Nikki Bella w/Brie Bell & Alicia Fox VS Charlotte w/Paige & Becky Lynch – Winner by Submission and new Divas Champion Charlotte – Ric Flair came out to celebrate with his daughter.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: (C) Seth Rollins VS Sting – Winner: Seth Rollins – After the match, Sheamus came out to the ring looking to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase but Kane’s music hit and he came out wearing his mask. Kane hits Rollins with a chokeslam and Tombstone. Kane then chokeslammed Sheamus. Kane hits another Tombstone on Rollins. Night of Champions ends with Kane laughing.

WWE.com is reporting that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian are expecting a baby, according to reports from Us Weekly and Radar Online.

The People’s Champ and Hashian met while filming “The Game Plan” in 2006. If the reports are true, congratulations to The Great One!

Breaking News: Bayley vs Sasha Banks in an ironman match at the next NXT takeover 

  You read the title correctly folks. It was just announced that newly cowned NXT women’s champion Bayley will defend her title against Sasha Banks in a 30 minute ironman match in the main event at the next NXT takeover special airing October 7th on the WWE NETWORK.

This will be the first ever ironman match featuring women in the history of WWE. For those unfamiliar with how ironman matches work the competitor with the most pinfall or submission victories at the end of the 30 minute mark will be declared the winner of the match.

 

If you watched Bayley vs Sasha Banks from NXT takeover Brooklyn you know that their next encounter will be one for the ages especially with a time frame of 30 mins!

WWE Star Critical Of How WWE Is Booking The Divas Revolution

Chris Jericho stated on a recent episode of his Talk Is Jericho podcast that WWE is going along with the Divas Revolution storyline the wrong way.

Jericho said:

“You can’t push nine people at once. You can’t. They introduced too many people in too short a timeframe and put them all together, so now it’s just one big wash.”

Jericho continued by praising the talents:

“I think all the divas are talented. I think the four from NXT (Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks), even though Bayley is not there yet, are off the charts talented, but I think it’s not working right now in the WWE because it’s too much at once.”

Jericho then compared the Four Horsewomen of NXT – Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks to Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit.

“You can’t put us with the other guys that aren’t of the level and expect the same type of matches. And those girls in the WWE are working hard, the Bellas and Alicia Fox and Paige, but those four from NXT, they just know each other better. They’re cut from a different cloth. They work together better, so they are going to be having better matches.”

Lana issues statement on injury 

  It is being reported that WWE diva Lana sustained a wrist injury while training for her first in ring match. Word going around is that there was suppose to be a mixed tag match at Night of Champions pinning Lana and Ziggler to go up against the team of Rusev and Summer Rae. Now due to Lana’s injury that won’t be the case.

Lana took to Twitter and Instagram to address her injury. She had this to say: “I have dedicated my entire life to becoming the best sports entertainer I could be. Ever since I have debuted in @wwe I have continued to go to @wwenxt & come hours early before live events to train & learn how to fight. I wanted my first match to make the #WWE Universe proud. My wrist fracture is proof that WWE & professional wrestling is not fake but very real. This is a bump in the road & can be discouraging but for every person that has believed in me and has ever chanted #WeWantLana I will keep going. From here forward I will share every part of my journey to my first match. Thank you to every fan that has cheered for me & chanted my name, you all give me the strength to be brave. I will continue to give everything I have to becoming one of the greatest women in WWE & entertainment.”
