Mia Yim Returns On WWE RAW, Joins The O.C.

On last night’s WWE RAW, The O.C. gained a new member in a familiar face.

WWE RAW Preview 11/7/2022

Tonight’s WWE Raw will air live on the USA Network, and will emanate from the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Raw will feature the fallout from last Saturday’s Crown Jewel and will be the start of the build to Survivor Series, which will take place on November 26.

As of this writing, no matches have been advertised for tonight’s show.

There isn’t a lot of time to book the WarGames matches, so it shouldn’t be long before we know more about the participants.

The O.C. is expected to debut their new equalizer for Rhea Ripley on tonight’s RAW, but this has yet to be confirmed. This past weekend, The Judgment Day defeated The O.C. at Crown Jewel.

The storylines involving Johnny Gargano, Dexter Lumis, and The Miz are also expected to continue, with Kevin Owens possibly returning to action as well.

Gargano, Owens, Lashley, RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, WWE United States Champion Seth Rollins, Matt Riddle, Bayley, and Austin Theory are all advertised for the show on the WWE Events and arena websites.

Natalya Undergoes Nasal Surgery

Over the weekend, Natalya noted that she suffered a dislocated nose last week on SmackDown during her match against Shayna Bazsler. The bout was taped over a week ago.

On Monday, Natalya noted that she underwent surgery for the injury and breathe again. She wrote the following:

“We moved my dislocated nose back to the center of my face where it belongs!! I love the shape of my nose and it will stay the same, thank goodness! Can finally breathe again. Pain is beauty! LFG!”

It’s unclear how long she will be sidelined.

Logan Paul Injured At Crown Jewel, Severity Of Injuries Still Unclear

At WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, Logan Paul unsuccessfully challenged Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the YouTuber’s third match.

Following the match, Logan informed fans that he suffered several injuries in the bout, including a torn meniscus, MCL and possibly a torn ACL.

The severity of Logan Paul’s injury he suffered at WWE Crown Jewel 2022 is still unclear as he is yet to get thoroughly examined.

On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that Logan is yet to get fully checked out.

“I got one message where they said that they didn’t know if he tore his ACL, but again, he hasn’t had it looked at. At first, he thought he did, but we’ll probably know more in a day or two. So, it may not be as bad, but it could be.”

If Paul has torn his ACL as feared, it will likely keep him out of the ring for a minimum six months.

NJPW Reportedly Breaking Tradition To Accommodate Karl Anderson

It appears that NJPW expects Karl Anderson to return in the coming months. Anderson reportedly is not going to be stripped of his NEVER Openweight Championship despite not appearing at this weekend’s NJPW Battle Autumn event, according to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WON’s Dave Meltzer reported Friday that NJPW will break tradition by not stripping Anderson of the title for failing to appear at a scheduled event.

Anderson, 42, returned to NJPW in 2021 and won the NEVER Openweight Championship in June of last year by defeating Tama Tonga. The American star was booked to appear in a title match this Saturday at NJPW’s Battle Autumn event in Osaka, but the match has since been rebooked. Anderson was scheduled to take on Hikuleo for the NEVER Openweight Championship. However, earlier this week NJPW announced that “despite extensive efforts” to reach Anderson about the match, “NJPW officials have still been met with no response, and have been left with no other option but to cancel the planned NEVER Openweight Championship match.”

The promotion then said that Hikuleo made a “direct request” to instead face Yujiro Takahashi in a non-title match at the event. Meltzer reported Friday that the match remains a non-title match and that the issue at hand with Anderson appears to be an angle, and that NJPW expects Anderson to return to Japan despite no-showing this weekend. The angle — which Meltzer notes to likely culminate at January’s upcoming Wrestle Kingdom event — comes weeks after Anderson returned to the WWE for the first time since 2020.
