LWO were eliminated first after a miscommunication involving Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro, creating tension between the teammates. Tokyo Bad Boys were the next team eliminated, leaving Fraxiom and Los Americanos to battle in the final stage.

AAA announced that Marisela Peña will be inducted into the AAA Hall of Fame during Heroes Inmortales on October 24.

Roxanne Perez Becomes No. 1 Contender to the Reina de Reinas Championship

Roxanne Perez defeated Faby Apache, Natalya, and La Hiedra in a four-way match to earn a future AAA Reina de Reinas Championship opportunity at Worlds Collide.

Perez entered the match as the target of the other competitors, who frequently teamed up against her. During the closing moments, interference from Flammer backfired when Perez caused La Hiedra to collide with her ally. Perez immediately capitalized, hitting her sunset flip powerbomb finisher to secure the victory.

Following the match, tensions surfaced between Flammer and La Hiedra, although the two eventually left together.

El Grande Americano and Rey Mysterio Address Night 2

Ahead of Sunday’s AAA Mega Championship match, El Grande Americano praised Rey Mysterio’s influence on lucha libre and expressed confidence about challenging Dominik Mysterio.

Rey vowed to overcome Omos despite the giant’s size advantage, stating that he had faced larger opponents before and intended to finish what Omos started.

La Parka Retains the AAA Latin American Championship

AAA Latin American Champion La Parka successfully defended his title against Mr. Iguana and Laredo Kid in a triple threat match.

The contest largely featured one-on-one exchanges before tensions rose between Parka and Iguana near the finish. Mr. Iguana appeared close to victory after hitting his finisher on Laredo Kid, but Parka broke up the pin attempt.

After Iguana showed frustration toward the champion, Parka took advantage of the opening and delivered a Doomsday Device to Iguana. He then finished Laredo Kid with the Bonebreaker to retain the championship.

Los Perros del Mal Capture the AAA World Trios Championship

Los Perros del Mal defeated Psycho Circus to win the AAA World Trios Championship.

With Panic Clown unable to compete, Psycho Clown stepped into the match alongside Murder Clown and Dave The Clown. Outside interference and the numbers advantage ultimately proved too much for the champions to overcome.

In the closing sequence, Angel delivered a powerbomb from the turnbuckles to Murder Clown before Daga followed with a flying stomp. Angel then scored the pinfall to crown Los Perros del Mal as the new champions.

Omos Defeats Rey Mysterio in the Main Event

The night’s main event featured Rey Mysterio taking on Omos with major consequences attached. A Rey victory would remove Omos from AAA, while an Omos win would end his suspension.

Rey used his speed to frustrate the giant early, but Omos eventually took control with his power advantage. The match broke down when Dominik Mysterio attacked his father from ringside, prompting El Grande Americano to get involved.

After Omos accidentally struck the referee, Rey capitalized by using a steel chair and connecting with a 619 and splash. However, Omos kicked out at two. Dominik continued to interfere, attacking El Grande Americano with a chair before Rey ran directly into a massive boot from Omos.

Moments later, Omos delivered a chokeslam to score the decisive victory.

The assault continued after the match as Omos repeatedly attacked Rey, eventually chokeslamming him through the commentary table while Rey was strapped to a backboard. Dominik also targeted El Grande Americano with chair shots, damaging his ribs and throat ahead of Sunday’s AAA Mega Championship clash.

WWE Schedules WWE x AAA Worlds Collide Event Opposite AEW All Out in Chicago Area

WWE and AEW will go head-to-head on September 26, as WWE has officially scheduled its next WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event for the same day as AEW’s annual All Out pay-per-view.

The date was revealed as part of a WWE press release announcing multiple upcoming event locations and schedules. According to the announcement, Worlds Collide will take place on Saturday, September 26, at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

The announcement is notable because AEW had already confirmed that All Out will be held that same day at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The two venues are located less than 30 minutes apart, setting up a rare situation where WWE and AEW will be running major events in the same market on the same night.

At this time, WWE has not announced a start time for Worlds Collide. AEW’s schedule for All Out is already in place, with the Buy In pre-show set to begin at 7 p.m. ET and the main pay-per-view card scheduled for an 8 p.m. ET start.

The decision creates an interesting dynamic for wrestling fans in the Chicago area, particularly those hoping to attend both events. Depending on WWE’s eventual start time, fans could be forced to choose between the two shows if there is significant overlap.

Dominik Mysterio continued to stir the pot, demanding that his father Rey strap the AAA Mega Championship around his waist when he wins it. Finn Balor, however, insisted Dom should do it on his own.

#1 Contender’s Match – Natalya def. Faby Apache

This one was a physical clash that turned into a mat-based chess game. After escaping Faby’s attempt at a Sharpshooter, Natalya countered into a series of pin attempts and managed to secure the win. The tension post-match showed this rivalry is far from finished.

Tag Team Title Drama – Psycho Clown & Pagano (c) def. Kofi Kingston & Grayson Waller

With Xavier Woods sidelined from a neck injury, Grayson Waller teamed with Kofi Kingston in an attempt to dethrone AAA’s hardcore duo. Woods still made his presence felt at ringside—only to run in fear after Psycho Clown tore off his own mask mid-match. That left Kingston and Waller vulnerable, and the champs hit double Mexican Destroyers before Psycho cradled Waller for the pin.

But the celebration was short-lived. The Wyatt Sicks appeared in the dark and brutalized the champs. Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, and Uncle Howdy left both men destroyed, holding up the AAA Tag Titles to close the segment.

Mixed Tag Mayhem – Mr. Iguana & Lola Vice def. Finn Balor & Roxanne Perez

This one turned chaotic thanks to puppet warfare between La Yesca and Demonito. The comedy didn’t overshadow the action though. After Balor nearly stole it, Lola Vice fired off a spinning backfist on Roxanne to seal the victory for her team.

Latin American Championship – El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) def. Dragon Lee, Ethan Page & JD McDonagh

A four-way car crash saw all four men throwing bombs. In the end, Wagner capitalized after a series of rapid counters, planting JD with the Wagner Driver to retain his title.

Main Event – Dominik Mysterio def. El Hijo del Vikingo (c) to win the AAA Mega Championship

The unthinkable happened in the main event: Dirty Dom is the new AAA Mega Champion.

The crowd was surprisingly pro-Dominik, chanting for him throughout as Vikingo received a mixed reaction. The bout was filled with interference—Balor and JD McDonagh tried to tilt things, but Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee evened the odds. At one point, El Grande Americano yanked the referee out, keeping Vikingo from getting a sure win.

After a series of near falls, Dom loaded his mask with a foreign object and cracked Vikingo with a flying headbutt, followed by a frog splash. This time the ref was in position, and the three-count sealed it.

Post-match, Dominik forced his father to strap the belt around his waist, then celebrated with The Judgment Day and El Grande Americano, cementing his shocking title win.
