WWE Hype For Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg At WrestleMania 33

Image result for Goldberg vs Lesnar At WrestleMania 33 For the WWE Universal Title

Brock Lesnar vs. Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 for the WWE Universal Title is now official after Goldberg defeated Kevin Owens for the gold at WWE Fastlane last night.

Below is WWE’s official preview for the match:

As if the long-awaited mega rematch between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 wasn’t already big enough, the stakes have been heightened following Goldberg’s triumph at WWE Fastlane. Now, The Beast Incarnate is out for not only redemption on Sunday, April 2, but also Goldberg’s newly won Universal Championship.

Despite his world-beater bona fides, The Conqueror has never defeated his decorated opponent. Indeed, Goldberg has had Lesnar’s number since the first time they locked horns, at WrestleMania XX. After more than a decade away from WWE, Goldberg returned last fall and destroyed Lesnar in shocking fashion at Survivor Series, thrashing The Conqueror in one minute and 26 seconds.

Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, chalked up the loss to The Beast taking Goldberg too lightly and nothing more. Yet at Royal Rumble, Goldberg enjoyed the upper hand again, eliminating Lesnar from the event’s eponymous 30-Superstar brawl.

No one else has thrived against Lesnar the way Goldberg has. Lesnar, a four-time WWE Champion, has carved out a career of destruction. Among his many accomplishments since returning to WWE in 2012, Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s once unbreakable WrestleMania Streak, demolished John Cena and bludgeoned Randy Orton to the point of referee stoppage.

Goldberg, however, has proven to be an unbeatable foe, so far.

Will Lesnar’s luck change when he battles Goldberg for Raw’s top championship, at WWE’s biggest event of the year, no less? Or can Goldberg further cement his incredible legacy, putting an exclamation point on his career with another victory against The Beast?

Find out which iconic behemoth comes out on top when Universal Champion Goldberg meets Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday, April 2, live on the award-winning WWE Network.

Big Match With WrestleMania 33 Implications Announced For Tuesday’s SmackDown Live 3/7/16

WWE announced the following:

The whirlwind struggle to determine WWE Champion Bray Wyatt’s No. 1 contender at WrestleMania will reach new heights this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE when Randy Orton battles AJ Styles one-on-one.

For a brief moment last Tuesday, it seemed as if the ongoing controversy surrounding the WWE Title had finally been settled. Styles overcame Luke Harper in an extremely hard-fought match and seemingly established himself as The New Face of Fear’s Show of Shows’ challenger. But that assumption literally went up in smoke when 2017 Royal Rumble Match winner Randy Orton —who had previously stated that he would not challenge Wyatt as long as he was the master and Orton the servant — suddenly declared that he was coming for the WWE Title at The Showcase of The Immortals before burning The Wyatt Family Compound to the ground!

But who ultimately has the right to challenge Bray Wyatt: the Superstar who won the Royal Rumble Match or the Superstar who won the honor after Orton refused it?

To answer that question, Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan reviewed all that happened this past week and have determined that The Viper and “The Face that Runs the Place” must go head-to-head this Tuesday at 8/7 C on USA Network to finally establish who will take on The New Face of Fear on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

wrestlemania seth rollins injury status raw video

Injured WWE Superstar Seth Rollins says he’ll be at WrestleMania 33 … but whether he’ll wrestle in a match still seems to be up in the air.

Rollins was interviewed by Corey Graves on Raw and said he didn’t think he’d be cleared in time for WM33. Triple H interrupted shortly after add to insult to injury.

The segment ended with Seth telling Hunter, “A month ago, I told your wife I had nothing left to lose. Well that couldn’t be any truer than it is right now. I will be at WrestleMania! And if it’s the last thing I ever do, then I swear to you, it will be the last thing you ever do.”

Despite the guarantee he’d be there, the interview appeared to leave things open ended just in case. As we previously reported, Rollins has been out of action since January 30th.

Finn Balor Returns To Action At NXT Show, Still Not Yet Cleared, Scheduled For Evaluation Next Month

Former NXT and WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor got physical with two of NXT’s top competitors Wednesday night … however, the wrestler claims doctors have yet to give him the green light for Raw.

WWE released video of Balor coming to the aid of Shinsuke Nakamura at the University of Central Florida during Wednesday night’s NXT TV taping and it looks like he’s back to 100%.

Finn easily clotheslined AndradeCienAlmas over the top rope, then hit Bobby Roode with a kick to the gut and Sling Blade.

The company reports that even though he looks ready for action, Balor told the live crowd that he still hasn’t been medically cleared to compete by WWE doctors.

Finn Balor may have gotten physical at an NXT event Wednesday night, but he isn’t lying about his medical situation — sources say he truly hasn’t been cleared yet.

even though Finn’s been working in the squared circle again and feels back to normal, the wrestler still has one more medical evaluation scheduled for the beginning of March.

Balor is being advertised for RAW live events in March. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Balor has always been scheduled for WrestleMania 33 but there’s no word yet on what his role will be. Creative News On The Undertaker Vs. Roman Reigns At WrestleMania 33

Image result for Roman Reigns eliminates Undertaker at 2017 Royal rumble match

Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker is the current plan for one of the WrestleMania 33 main events.

Despite the fact that Reigns will likely be booed out of the Camping World Stadium, Vince McMahon has reportedly wanted to do this match for some time. WrestleMania 33 may be the last big chance to do the match due to Taker’s health.

Reigns eliminated Taker in this year’s Royal Rumble match to set up their WrestleMania beef but Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there is the idea of a generational passing of the torch being discussed, which may be hard to pull off with the expected crowd reaction to Reigns. That could indicate an official heel run for Reigns but The Observer notes that WWE’s long-term goal is still for Reigns to be the face of the company.

Regarding Taker’s health, we noted before that he was said to be really hurting with hip pain after Sunday’s Royal Rumble main event. Taker had hip surgery last fall but still needs a hip replacement surgery, which he’s been putting off until his in-ring career is over.
