Last night on Twitter after NXT Takerover: R Evolution Triple H tweeted that he needs help because he lost a whole box of rings. Triple H’s tweet was obviously a response to what Vince said on the podcast. Below is Triple H’s tweet:

Ed’s Perspective: Here We Go Again – Another Punk Pipebomb
Trevor has been all over the breaking news that it CM Punk will be in his hometown of Chicago tomorrow night for RAW. Here is the news: Breaking News: Respected News Source Reporting That CM Punk Will Be At RAW Tomorrow Night and here is Trevor’s prediction: CM Punk Return: Prepare For The Pipebomb.
This last second change comes after he earlier reported based on industry experts: CM Punk Not Expected At Monday’s Raw In His Hometown of Chicago and WWE Aware of Crowd Plans To Hijack This Monday’s Raw.
Each of those links comes from right here on DTRT Wrestling.com and I want to commend Trevor on the thoroughness of his coverage on this topic.
Now my perspective. I SMELL A GOOD OLD FASHIONED WORK has been cookin’ – and I for one am not a bit happy about it.
First of all, look at the Pipebomb of 2011 from Punk:
Now please, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy when a superstar gets the opportunity to blast on things that are on his mind. Hell, even Fox News covered that pipebomb in 2011. Punk said things that you or I might have been saying, but he had a nationally televised platform.
So why am I upset that we can expect another one tomorrow? Well, to me it appears to make Punk seem to be a cry baby and I don’t believe that he is. It appears that every time Punk doesn’t get his way, he walks out – Vince begs him to come back or stay and gives him an open mic as his reward.
Pipebomb 2011 had a purpose.
Pipebomb 2014 smells rotten to me. All the coverage over the last several weeks, and here it’s all going to be resolved just in time for Punk to make his triumphant return in of all places – his hometown of Chicago and shortly before Wrestlemania.
I know that works are a big part of this business, but I hate being made feel like I’m a big sucker – and if this really is a work then I think the WWE has disrespected us fans, manipulated all those people who paid good money for shows and missed seeing Punk for the last several weeks, and tried to make us look like stupid sheep.
And that’s the bottom line – cause …………
Ed’s Perspective: Hogan To Finish Right Where He Belongs
The news that was leaked and then later confirmed by the WWE, that Hulk Hogan will be making his WWE return this week has had the mainstream media abuzz. In my opinion, this is rightfully so.
In my mind, Hogan and his 24 inch pythons always belonged along side Vince McMahon and in the WWE. I remember when he moved to WCW, and it just never felt right to me – and it wasn’t just the heel turn that make me feel that way.
I was a huge WCW mark back then, and bringing the “Immortal” one into the Turner camp should have been amazing – and for many it was. For me however, it just never felt right. Hogan belonged in orange and yellow and not black and white.
Even more recently when the Hulkster was with TNA, my gut always felt that he was out of place. I mean Hogan helped put WWE a step above everyone else. Who could ever forget the night Hogan did the impossible and body slammed Andre the Giant?
When they started referring to the business as being sports entertainment, Hogan fit the definition perfectly. Why else would Fox News, CNN, TMZ, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, and several others be covering the news of Hogan’s WWE return? It’s huge entertainment news.
Some things in life just need to happen. Many professional ball players sign a 1 day contract and retire with the team where they made their fame and spent most of their career. To me, this is what Vince and Hulk are doing here.
Doing it just before Wrestlemania 30, the Super Bowl of our business is a classy, and not to mention potentially hugely profitable, decision by all parties
And that is good for THE business and the fans.
