Vince McMahon Returns:

Mr. McMahon gave his children, Shane and Stephanie, shared custody over Monday Night Raw, but ironically, it’s SmackDown Live that has caused friction between the two siblings. With both McMahons declaring their intentions to run SmackDown come Tuesday, July 19 (and fending off would-be usurpers ranging from Corporate Kane to John Laurinaitis) and the Brand Extension fast approaching, The Chairman is slated to return to Raw in the very same building where Shane himself made his comeback earlier this year. Could Mr. McMahon be on the verge of an executive decision? Or does he have a different COO in mind for SmackDown Live?

Elijah is Tough Enough

There is a lot to be said about the global phenomenon that is WWE. Some people think it’s the greatest thing to happen since slice bread while others in the IWC always have something bad to say about the flagship wrestling promotion.

Regarding him not being at WrestleMania 31, Austin said he didn’t turn anything down, he simply wasn’t there and was never scheduled to be there.

Regarding rumors of him turning down Tough Enough. Austin said he didn’t turn it down, Tough Enough was suppose to film in February-March but now it’s April and it still hasn’t happened. Austin said he can’t do it now because of his commitments to CMT’s Broken Skull Challenge.

Austin spoke about his podcast not being on WWE Network. Austin said there was a deal that could have been made but it wasn’t. Austin said Vince McMahon not being happy with some of the questions for Triple H isn’t true.

Austin said he guesses there is no animosity towards him from WWE’s point o view and said he has no heat with them.

Problems Between Steve Austin & Vince McMahon

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin did not travel to Santa Clara for WrestleMania 31 festivities. PWInsider Elite reports that Austin was scheduled  to fly into San Jose on the same flight with The Undertaker but Austin did not go. WWE even had an employee waiting to pick Austin up at the airport. WWE still thought he might show up because there was a room with his name on it backstage at Levi’s Stadium until mid-week.

There appears to be issues between Austin and Vince McMahon. One person close to the situation said they never seen Vince as angry about anything else. The rift between Austin and Vince reportedly has to do with Austin’s podcast on the WWE Network and Vince not liking some aspects of it. This is likely why  WWE Network is now carrying Chris Jericho’s podcast instead.

WWE also wanted Austin for the upcoming season of Tough Enough but he reportedly turned it down for an unknown reason. Some expect Austin to address his issues with WWE shortly.
