MVP said he plans on doing everything he can to be able to wrestle TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young this Sunday at Slammiversary. MVP Injured, Could It Cause TNA To Change Slammiversary Main Event?

MVP

Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that MVP suffered a knee injury at a Preston City Wrestling event in the U.K. It’s still unknown if he will be able to face TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young at Slammiversary next weekend until he gets MRI results back.

MVP appeared at the May 31st events that he was booked for overseas & he cut a promo as General Manager, where he apologized to fans for not being able to compete. MVP has been quite on Twitter & at TNA has not acknowledged it yet. Chris masters was on the same tour & on June 2nd posted a photo of MVP in a wheelchair.

It’s possible that TNA already knows an update on MVP’s condition & may insert something into tonight’s Impact broadcast but TNA could once again be facing major issues with a match due to taping several weeks ahead.
