Kurt Angle came to the ring. Angle said 2013 was the worst year of his career. Angle said he was here to explain his plans for 2014. Bobby Roode interrupted. Roode thinks Angle is going to walk away like Jeff Hardy did last week. Roode said Angle finally realized he doesn’t have what it takes to beat him & wants Angle to tell him to his face that he is better. Angle said he isn’t leaving & he is going to kick *ss in 2014. Angle challenged Roode to one more match. Roode said no, he has nothing to prove, him & Angle are done, unless Angle agrees to never enter the Hall of Fame if Angle loses. Angle said the match will be at Genesis in a steel cage. Roode accepted & hit Angle. Refs & security came out & pulled them apart. Rockstar Spud came out also & got shoved to the mat by Angle. Spud made a tag match for Angle & Roode later tonight, they each have to find a partner.

Dixie Carter was in the back doing a promo for Magnus’s coronation. Dixie got a letter that said “see you tonight.” Dixie was mad & stormed out.

Dixie Carter talked to Rockstar Spud in the back, she wants him to find out where, or who the letter came from.

Gail Kim with Lei’ D Tapa in the ring for her Open Challenge. Gail said she dominated in 2103 & hopes for more competition in 2014. Madison Rayne came out to accept the open challenge.

Gail Kim VS Madison Rayne: Madison got the win.

Velvet Sky & Chris Sabin in the back. Sabin wants Velvet to do what he says so he will win the X-Division title. He tells her is she doesn’t & he loses he will leave without her.

Kurt Angle in the back, he asked Gunner to be his partner & Gunner accepted. James Storm overheard & walked in & said that is interesting.

X-Division Championship Match: Chris Sabin VS X-Division Champion Austin Aries: Velvet Sky at ringside with Sabin. Sabin ordered Velvet to help him. Velvet climbed on the apron & distracted the ref & Aries. Sabin hit Aries with a low blow & rolled him up for the win. Sabin is the new X-Division Champion. After the match Jeremy Borash interviewed Sabin. Sabin thanked himself & said he couldn’t have done it without himself. Sabin gave no credit to Velvet.

Rockstar in the back, he got a phone call but they hung up.

Samuel Shaw VS Norv Fernum: Shaw sent Christy Hemme out of the ring before she introduced his opponent Norv Fernum. Shaw got the win with a type of choke hold.

James Storm was in the back talking about Gunner. Storm said he is going to show Angle that he made a mistake choosing Gunner as his partner. Storm opened a door & said that’s who he is looking for.

Bobby Roode in the back talking to James Storm. Storm wants to be Roode’s partner. Roode said he has a couple of people in mind to be his partner. Roode tols Storm that he doesn’t need him. Storm said he is going to be out there one way or another, either as Roode’s partner or kicking everyone’s *ss including Roode’s.

Kurt Angle & Gunner VS Bobby Roode & James Storm: Roode & Storm got the win. After the match, Angle hit Roode from behind & went for an Angle Slam but Roode slipped out & headed to the back.

Sting was in the back, Spud questioned him about the letter. Sting told Spud to get out od his face, he is here to talk to Dixie.

Ethan Carter III came to the ring & he talked about beating Sting & Jeff Hardy last week. He mention Hardy leaving & he challenged Hardy to a match & had Christy Hemme introduce Hardy. Hardy music played & there was no Hardy. EC3 said to ring the bell & he started counting Hardy out. Sting interrupted & came down to the ring. Sting said Hardy is a man & that he doesn’t know what EC3 is. Sting called EC3 a little puppy dog, Dixie’s lapdog. Sting told EC3 to get off the leash & prove he is a man. EC3 said he isn’t going to let Sting manipulate him & left the ring. Sting called EC3 a lapdog. EC3 said he will fight Sting one on one in 2 weeks at Genesis.

Joseph Park & Eric Young in the back. Park said he doesn’t remember last week & he isn’t Abyss. Park question why EY has put him in a match with Bully Ray. EY said Abyss wrestled Bully years ago & tonight he is going to win. EY said Park is going to have to do it own his own & left. Bully walked in & told Park that it is not in his best interest to come to the ring & burn for the sins of Ken Anderson. Bully said he is going to set Park on fire.

Bully Ray VS Joseph Park: Bully hit Park with a low blow kick. Park wins by DQ. After the match Bully sprayed Park with lighter fluid & was going to set him on fire. Mr. Anderson came down & Bully sprayed Anderson with lighter fluid & threated to light him on fire. Bully left to the back.

Rockstar Spud & EC3 in the ring for the coronation of Magnus. Spud said tonight history will be made. Spud said Dixieland is a place where dreams come true. Spud turned things over to EC3. EC3 bragged about beating Sting last week. EC3 said “I’m a Carter & the world needs us.” EC3 talked about Magnus being the World Champion. EC3 introduced Dixie Carter to the ring. Dixie told a story about seeing a article about Magnus & how it took her breath away. She said Magnus become Champion all on his own. Dixie introduced Magnus. Magnus thanked Dixie, he said she is the wind beneath his wings. Magnus mentioned that people doubted him becoming World Champion. Magnus said the fans turned their backs on him. He said he plans on being Champion for a long time. Gunner interrupted & came out with his Feast or Fired briefcase.

Gunner wants to cash in the case & fight Magnus for the Title. Dixie said to not ring the bell. Gunner tosses EC3 & Spud in the corner & goes after Magnus. EC3 & Spud came back & they all beat Gunner down. AJ Styles came in the ring & cleared out EC3 & Spud. AJ & Magnus stare at each other each with their TNA World Title belts. Dixie told AJ to get out of the ring. Magnus left the ring. AJ said if Dixie wants her Title belt it is right here. AJ told Dixie to stop her lawyers from chasing him all over. AJ said he just inn’t going to hand over the Title. AJ said Dixie screwed the people over by making her Champion a farce. AJ said Magnus isn’t Champion until he beats him. Magnus asked if AJ was challenging him. AJ said there can only be one Champion. AJ said Magnus will doubt himself if he doesn’t accept. Magnus said AJ isn’t better than him & he will prove next week, for the World Championship. Dixie said that isn’t happening. Magnus said if it doesn’t then he will leave too. Dixie said AJ doesn’t have a contract. Magnus told Dixie to give AJ a one night only contract. Dixie said if Magnus loses she will have nothing. Magnus said id he doesn’t fight she will have nothing anyway. Magnus & AJ agreed to the match for next week. Dixie stormed off.

Rockstar Spud came to the ring & introduced Dixie Carter. Dixie came down & talked about Magnus being her World Heavyweight Champion. Dixie has a announcement to make. Jeff Hardy interrupted & came to the ring. Hardy said he has something to say but kept getting cut of by Spud. Hardy grabbed Spud & backed him in the corner & said this will only take a minute. Ethan Carter III came in & hit Hardy & tossed him form the ring. Sting came down & said he wasn’t leaving the ring until he got what he wants, a fight with EC3.Sting suggested a tag match tonight of him & Hardy against EC3 & Spud. Dixie said they will have a tag match for the main event.

Gunner VS James Storm: Feast or Fired Briefcase on the line: Double count-out.

Brooke in the back trying to talk to Bully Ray but he wont answer her. She said that she is going to go to the ring & air all of his dirty laundry. He said that’s not a good idea. She walked away.

Handicap Tag Team Match: Sting & Jeff Hardy VS Bro Mans, Ethan Carter III & Rockstar Spud: Bro Mans, EC3 & Spud got the win. After the match Jeff Hardy announced that this was his last match in TNA. He said he will only come back when the sun shines again on this dark kingdom. Hardy thanked the creatures & hugged Sting & walked to the back.

Reports are that AJ Styles is now expected to be returning to TNA after the 2 sides have continued negotiations. Styles’ agent recently reached out to indie promoters & said talks with TNA were moving along so if they wanted to book Styles that they needed to get their deposits in soon.

TNA Issues Statement On Jeff Jarrett

TNA announced that they have accepted Jeff Jarrett’s resignation from the company effective January 6th. TNA President Dixie Carter commented, “On behalf of TNA, we would like to thank Jeff for his contributions to the company. We wish him the very best & look forward to his continued participation as an investor in TNA Wrestling.”

TNA Final Resolution Recap

Magnus was in the back asking the whereabouts of Dixie Carter & Jeff Hardy. He said is going to the ring to say something that’s going to get everybody’s attention.

Magnus came to the ring. Magnus said he loves this business. He talked about the power of money & said it’s not about that for him, it’s about pride, honor, dignity & respect. Magnus said he wonders if it’s the same for Jeff Hardy & brought up that Hardy was seen having a drink with Dixie Carter at the end of last weeks show. Magnus said he wants an explanation from Hardy. Magnus said to the fans to not let Hardy fool you. Hardy came out to the ring & said Magnus doesn’t know him. Magnus mentioned 10/10/10 when Hardy sold out. Hardy said that was a different time & place then. Magnus questioned if Hardy has sold out again. Hardy told Magnus to worry about his own life & not his.

Christy Hemme in the back with Kurt Angle, she asked him about his match tonight with Bobby Roode. Angle said he still has it & he will beat Roode twice. Angle said this is not the end for him, it’s only just the beginning.

Jeremy Borash in the back outside a conference room, he talked about opening the Feast or Fired briefcases. He interviewed Chavo Guerrero & DJ Zema Ion walked in & was annoying.

2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Kurt Angle VS Bobby Roode: Roode won the 1st fall. Angle won the 2nd fall. Roode won the 3rd fall by holding the ropes during the pinfall. Roode wins the match.

JB in the back talking about Feast or Fired. He talked with Gunner & James Storm. He asked Gunner about the way he got the briefcase stepping over his partner Storm. Gunner said Storm would have done the same thing. Storm told Gunner that they will see if his gamble paid off. Gunner asked what Storm meant by that. Storm said Maybe Gunner could get fired. Gunner said maybe or maybe not.

Kurt Angle back in the locker room, Angle said Roode has outsmarted him. Angle said his pride wont let him admit that Roode has his number. Angle said he doesn’t know what to do & that he will have to think about his next move.

JB in the back with Ethan Carter III, EC3 said he isn’t worried about getting fired because he knows someone in charge. EC3 got a phone call from Dixie Carter. Dixie told EC3 that she can’t do anything about it if his briefcase says he is fired.

Eric Young in the back, he said he has some gifts for Joseph Park to bring him back to the old times.

Eric Young came to the ring. EY called out Joseph Park. EY told Park that he is the “Monster” Abyss. Park said his name is Joseph Park. EY told Park that last week when he bled, Abyss showed up. Park said he is Joseph Park. EY said he has a match for Park next week against Daniels & Kazarian. Park said are you trying to get me killed. EY said the match is his match, a Monster’s Ball Match. Park said that’s his brothers match & he is not doing it. EY had some gifts for Park. There was a steel chair, a bag of thumbtacks & some barbwire. Park said he is still not going to wrestle next week. EY said he had another gift for Park & it’s under the ring. Park looked under the ring & pulled out “Janice”, a 2×4 with nails. Park said ok he will do it & walked to the back staring at Janice.

Samoa Joe in the back with Jeff Hardy, Joe said he didn’t think Hardy would take a short cut.

JB in the conference room with Gunner, Zema Ion, Chavo Guerrero & Ethan Carter III to open the Feast or Fired briefcases. James Storm was with Gunner. JB introduced Dixie Carter. Dixie said their life is about to change. Zema Ion opened his case & he got a X-Division Title shot. Gunner opened his case & he got a World Heavyweight Title shot. Chavo said he is confident that he has a Tag Team title shot in his case, but no matter what he is still a Guerrero. EC3 said he wont be fired because he is a Carter. Sting interrupted & came in the room. Dixie told Sting that they don’t need him in here. Sting asked Chavo if he was ever handed anything. Sting said it sucks that Chavo is in the same position as EC3 with a 50/50 chance of being fired. Sting offered to take EC3 briefcase if EC3 fights him just one time only. EC3 said no, he will take the briefcase. EC3 & Chavo opened their cases. EC3 got a Tag Team Title shot & Chavo was fired. Sting told Chavo that he is still a Guerrero & that it isn’t the end. Sting said it’s the beginning of the end for Dixie & EC3. Sting told Dixie that she disgust him & told EC3 he doesn’t have any words for him & walked out. Dixie was happy for EC3.

Gail Kim & Lei’D Tapa VS ODB & Madison Rayne: Madison pinned Gail for the win. ODB & Madison got the win.

Sting talked to Jeff Hardy in the back. Sting said Hardy owes his creatures & his family to stay true to himself. Hardy told Sting that he doesn’t understand. Sting said he does.

A video was shoed of Dixie Carter talking to Rockstar Spud about him not getting the World Title from AJ Styles. She told him to find someone to make them another World Title belt.

Jeff Hardy came to the ring. Hardy talked about Magnus bringing up his past. Hardy said his past mistakes wont be repeated. Hardy said he loves to entertain the creatures in this ring. Hardy said nobody owns him & he told Dixie to take her big money & stick it. Hardy said like AJ Styles he will represent this company the way it should be represented. Dixie Carter came down to the ring. Dixie said everything Hardy has he owes to her. Dixie said she has stood by him not these pathetic creatures. Dixie told Hardy to think about what’s best for her & her company not what he feels is best for his wife & little girl. Dixie said if Hardy doesn’t he will be out of a job just like AJ Styles. Dixie told Hardy to make the right decision. She said she is going to stay out & watch & wished Hardy good luck.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Final: Dixieland Match: Jeff Hardy VS Magnus: Ethan Carter III came out & joined Dixie Carter atop the ramp by the ladder on the stage. EC3 tried to stop Magnus from climbing down the cage. Hardy took out EC3 with a Twist of Fate. Hardy was atop the ladder & about to retrieve the Title for the win, when Rockstar Spud came out & knocked over the ladder with Hardy on it. Hardy was down & Spud set back up the ladder & urged Magnus to climb the ladder. Spud & Dixie cheered on Magnus as he climbed the ladder & retrieved the Title for the win. Magnus is the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Magnus celebrated with Dixie, EC3 & Rockstar Spud.

AJ Styles Is Gone From TNA

AJ Styles has confirmed that he has officially parted ways with TNA. Styles in a statement on his Facebook page said – “When this contract renegotiation journey started several months ago, my wife & I began praying for God to close doors that needed to be closed & to open doors that He wanted us to walk through. We asked Him to prepare us for this journey & to help us to have the faith to be obedient to what He would have us to do. I am assured by the name Immanuel in Matthew 1:23 that I will never be alone. Hebrews 13:5, says He will never leave us or forsake us. There is a lot in this world that I am unsure of, especially in this moment, but there is one thing that I am certain. Contracts may expire, but the promise of Immanuel will never expire.” AJ said he & his family are grateful for the platform TNA has allowed him to experience.
