TNA Reportedly Has Another Network Lined Up
It is being reported by F4WOnline & Wrestling Inc that Spike TV reportedly wants out of the pro wrestling business. The impression is that TNA has another network lined up but that it’s not a major network. There is still not cancellation date for Impact Wrestling on Spike TV yet but Spike TV is willing to work with TNA while they transition to another network.
Backstage News On TNA Contracts Expiring Soon
PWInsider Elite is reporting that several more TNA contracts are expiring soon & that these talents are in the same situation as Bully Ray because word came down that TNA is not looking to sign any upper=level talents until a new TV deal with Spike TV is done. PWInsider reports that negotiations between TNA & Spike TV are ongoing.

Update On TNA Impact’s Status With Spike TV
TNA President Dixie Carter issued a statement today announcing that Impact Wrestling will remain on Wednesday nights on Spike TV through the end of the year.
Dixie said: “Impact Wrestling will remain a vital part of Spike TV’s programming on Wednesday nights 9/8c, through the end of the year. Negotiations remain ongoing beyond this time frame.”

Bully Ray Done With TNA
PWInsider is reporting that Bully Ray has finished up with TNA at their live event in Hagerstown, MD tonight. Bully’s contract apparently expired today & Bully told the locker room that he doesn’t expect to return to the company.
Bully & Devon were announced in June to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at Bound For Glory in October.

News From Recent TNA Backstage Meeting In NYC
PWInsider Elite reports that at the recent TNA Impact tapings in New York City there was Spike TV officials in attendance as well as representatives from other networks.
At the backstage meeting before the tapings on August 6th, with John Gaburick, had Bully Ray doing the talking, they told the TNA talents that the company was not closing & they were working on several deals. They implied that everything is fine.

New On Davey Richards Broken Leg & TNA Tag Titles
Davey Richards, one half the TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Wolves, has suffered a broken leg. F4WOnline reports that TNA is going to wait & see before making any decision about what to do about The Wolves & their TNA World Tag Team Titles because TNA is taping enough footage to carry them through September 25th.
If his injury isn’t too bad, they will keep the titles but if for some reason Richards has to be out for a few months, The Wolves will be stripped of the titles.
