Bully Ray is reportedly close to signing a 2 date deal with TNA according to PWInsider. The extension would allow him to finish the TNA Tag Team Series with The Hardy’s & The Wolves at this week’s Impact tapings in Bethlehem, PA. Bully’s second & final date would come on October 12th in Japan at TNA’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view, where he will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame along with Devon.
Devon’s last date with TNA would also be October 12th.

According to a report by TNAInsider.com, TNA officials appear to be on the lookout for more Mexico-based wrestlers.
Monterrey-based Llaves y Candados promotion officials revealed to the Mexican media that they have been in active discussions with TNA officials to bring in two more Luchadors, specifically El Hijo del Ninja & Rico Rodriguez. The following statement was issued by Diego Garcia, an official for both the promotion & for Arena Coliseo where the promotion is primarily based. The statement has been translated & paraphrased to English:
“We’ve been in constant contact with Bob Ryder and Andy Barton in regards to two Luchadors, specifically from our Llaves y Candados promotion. Most of the attention has been focused on El Hijo del Ninja & Rico Rodriguez.”
El Hijo del Ninja is a 3rd generation wrestler & trained by his dad, the original Ninja. He is also a cousin to the late Hector Garza, who happened to have one the very first TNA World X Cup. At this time not much is known about Rico Rodriguez.

It has been reported on several wrestling news sites that Bully Ray is not expected to re-sign with TNA but there’s some belief among TNA wrestlers that Bully may return at next week’s TNA Impact Wrestling tapings in Bethlehem, PA.

American War Hero Chris Melendez comes to Impact!
WrestlingINC.com reported that TNA has been offered a spot on Discovery’s Velocity network, which is only available in HD & in less than 50 million homes.
F4WOnline noted that TNA moving to Velocity was described as a worst case scenario.
If TNA makes the deal to move Impact to Velocity, TNA would have to cut so far back on production & talent that the TNA as we know it would be no more.

Bully Ray & Velvet Sky did the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Velvet did the challenge with help from Bully & then nominated him to take it. Bully did the challenge & they celebrated “Stone Cold” Steve Austin style with beer. Velvet then hit Bully with a Stone Cold Stunner as Austins’ theme music played. Velvet also had issued Austin to take the challenge.
