WWE Confirms Tito Ortiz Recently Trained At The Performance Center

WWE has confirmed MMA legend Tito Ortiz trained at the Performance Center last week.

WWE confirmed the news to ESPN on Thursday after Tito’s training session was first reported by the Wrestling Observer.

No additional details have been made public at this time, but this would not be Tito’s first time getting involved in professional wrestling. He was most famously part of the #August1Warning angle at Impact Wrestling which ultimately led to him joining Aces and Eights.

Tito’s 2013 TNA stint did not last long, however, as he was pulled by Bellator due to a scheduled fight.

Ortiz’s last MMA fight in December was a win over former WWE star Alberto El Patron with his old WWE title belt on the line.

Tito’s team had no comment when asked about the training session by ESPN.

Dana White says he can beat Tito Ortiz in a boxing match

This one I found pretty interesting because everyone in the MMA fan world knows that for one reason or another Dana White & Tito Ortiz have legit beef. In fact some fans go as far to say that their beef is the main reason why Dana won’t sign Chris Cyborg to the UFC with Tito being her manager and all. (That’s a whole other story though).
It’s crazy to think that this fight was actually suppose to happen back in March of 2007 but was called off when Ortiz didn’t show up to the weigh ins. White said it was “because Tito knew he was going to get his ass whooped on national television”

Now the drama is re surfacing after Tito sent out a tweet in which he said “now UFC is trying to erase me from history wow that’s low, it’ll come back three fold. sorry fans” he sent out this tweet in regards to the fact that UFC declared John Jones the “winningest 205 pounder in history” after he picked up his 14th win against Glover Teixeira this past Saturday at UFC 172. It should be noted though that Ortiz had 15 wins under his belt when competing with UFC.

White however didn’t address the tweet but he did in fact call out Ortiz once more. You can read the full article here

So what do you think? Is Dana White out of his mind or do you agree with him? Let us know in the comment section. Discussing is always fun
