Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that most in WWE expect Sting at WrestleMania 31 next year for what could be his one & only WWE in-ring appearance this coming year.

Who Would Sting Want To Face If Undertaker Match Doesn’t Happen?

In a Brian Fritz article for The Orlando Sentinel website, where he interviewed Sting last week at the WWE 2K15 roster reveal panel, Sting was asked about who he would want to face if The Undertaker match doesn’t happen. Sting said: “if that can’t happen (Undertaker match), Triple H, I think. I just would like to have one more match. I would love to say I had one match under the WWE banner and of coarse, WrestleMania. Who wouldn’t want to say that they wrestled at WrestleMania at least one time.”

 

Sting Interview With Sam Roberts at WWE 2K15 SummerSlam Panel

Sting was interviewed by Sam Roberts at the WWE 2K15 SummerSlam Panel. Sting talked about the fan reaction at Comic-Con last month, the fan reaction of the WWE 2K15 promo on RAW, still wanting to face The Undertaker despite the streak ending, if there is someone on the current WWE roster he wants to face, wrestling Ric Flair on the last episode of WCW Nitro, if he talked to WWE when his WCW contact was over & he talked about being frustrated with the Starrcade match between himself & Hulk Hogan.

Sting On WWE 2K15 Roster Reveal SummerSlam Panel

Sting will be appearing SummerSlam weekend on the WWE 2K15 roster reveal panel.

Sting Posted A Cryptic Message On Twitter

Sting posted a pair of cryptic tweets today referencing 7.14.14, which is Monday.  It might be referring to the announcement of his appearance in WWE 2K15 video game.

Sting Signs Removed On RAW

At last nights RAW, WWE officials told security to remove any Sting related signs that were seen in the crowd.

Sting WWE Contract Update

Word is that WWE sent Sting a contract several days ago but as of Saturday, he had not returned it. The belief is Sting & WWE were on terms & an agreement is in place. Those in the company before WrestleMania XXX were working with the impression that he was on board.

Sting Releases Statement On The Death Of The Ultimate Warrior

Sting posted the following on Facebook about the death of The Ultimate Warrior:

“Mourning the loss ofSting & Ultimate Warrior 1985 Jim Hellwig. I don’t believe anyone has ever published this picture before today. The snapshot was taken two days before Thanksgiving in 1985, as we prepared to leave my house in Newhall, California and embark on a career in wrestling.

Jim always challenged me to strive at being the best, and I’ll forever be grateful for the encouragement and motivation he provided.

I was looking forward to catching up with him, and I’m saddened we didn’t have the opportunity before he passed. My heart goes out to his wife Dana and their two daughters, and they will remain in my prayers.”
