Source: WrestlingINC

As if CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and potentially Paige VanZant weren’t enough for potential UFC and WWE crossovers, it appears as if the WWE is hoping to land Ronda Rousey for next year’s WrestleMania 33 event.

According to a report by Forbes, the WWE is looking to angle the Brock Lesnar UFC fight to potentially get Rousey on WrestleMania. As you may remember, Ronda Rousey participated in WrestleMania 31, working an angle with Stephanie McMahon, Triple H and the Rock.

As we mentioned earlier, the WWE is also hoping to get UFC stars to appear at Summerslam.

Ronda Rousey Had Knee Surgery

Source: MMA Fighting

Will former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey help make history when the UFC puts on its first event at Madison Square Garden in New York City in November? According to UFC President Dana White, she won’t. In fact, she won’t fight in November at all. White says Rousey recently had minor knee surgery and her timeline for a return is being pushed back.

“Ronda Rousey, I don’t know,” While told ESPN’s Cari Champion on SportsCenter Thursday. “I’m hoping we’re going to get Ronda back this year. She actually just had surgery yesterday on her knee. Nothing serious, just get in there, scope it and clean it out a little bit. She feels great. Her spirits are great. She’s been training.”

According to White, however, November is out of the question. Rousey was originally expected for UFC 200 in July, but pushed back her timeline to October or November due to other commitments. Now, White said, her return is looking more like end of 2016 or early 2017.

“If she fights, I’m hoping she fights in December. If not, then he would probably fight at the New Years show at the beginning of the year,” White noted.

As for who she’ll face, White has remained consistent that Rousey will receive an immediate title shot upon her return. “If Miehsa Tate’s still the champion, she’ll fight Miesha Tate. Whoever has the belt is who Ronda Rousey will fight.”

White didn’t rule out the possibility of Rousey facing Holly Holm, who took Rousey’s belt in November of 2015, but said it would have to be a product of circumstance, not engineering.

“Injuries happen in this sport and a fight is made. Somebody falls out and somebody else slides in,” he explained. “I’m not even saying Holly Holm couldn’t be the champion by the time Ronda comes back. So, whoever holds that belt when Ronda’s ready.”

In an interview with TIME (that you can view above) the former UFC Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey talks about how she’s still grieving the person that thought she could win it all. She says that she has to accept that she’s not her, it’s just who she’d like to be, instead she’s who she needs to be for herself and everyone else.

It used to be that I would get out of bed with the conviction that I had to be better than I was yesterday. I guess these days its hope that gets me out of bed.

She compares herself to a cartoon and says that on some days not everyone is going to like what that cartoon does. She mentions that in her home she has a wall of encouraging letters from fans talking about how much she’s helped them, Rousey says now they’re helping her.

Will Ronda Rousey Be At WrestleMania 32?

Is it possible that Ronda Rousey along with her 4 Horsewomen of MMA friends be at WrestleMania 32?

As noted earlier, 4 Horsewomen of MMA member Shayna Baszler will be appearing at the Shimmer 80 event on Saturday, April 2nd in Dallas, Texas the night before WrestleMania 32. And usually where we see Shayna we see other 4 Horsewomen of MMA member Jessamyn Duke and sometimes 4 Horsewomen of MMA member Marina Shafir. As we all know the 4 Horsewomen of MMA was at WrestleMania last year and we all know what happened with Rousey & The Rock and Triple H & Stephanie McMahon.

With The Rock set to appear at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas and with him teasing a Mania shocker, and the fact that Stephanie has been training, and Rousey’s plans being pushed back and with Baszler in Dallas during WrestleMania week with the possibility of Duke & Shafir also being in town, sparks speculation that Rousey just may show up at WrestleMania 32 for another Mania moment with The Rock involving Stephanie McMahon.

The idea of Rousey finally being able to get her hands on Stephanie a year later at WrestleMania is awesome, but we will just have to wait and hope that he happens.

Ronda Rousey Says She Thought About Suicide After Holly Holm Loss

Source: WrestlingINC

It was evident that things were pretty bad for Ronda Rousey following her UFC 193 loss to Holly Holm. She was reclusive, didn’t speak to anyone, wasn’t training and wasn’t making public appearances. Things were much worse than she actually let on.

While appearing on Ellen today, Rousey mentioned that she thought about killing herself following the big title loss.

“Honestly, my thought I was like, in the medical room and I was down in the corner. I was sitting in the corner like, What am I anymore if I’m not this? And I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself and that exact second. I’m like I’m nothing, what do I do anymore and no one gives a sh*t about me anymore without this,” she said.

Rousey said that seeing her boyfriend, UFC fighter Travis Browne, helped change her mind and gave her a much more optimistic outlook.

“To be honest I looked up and I saw my man (Browne) was standing up there and I looked up at him and I was like, I need to have his babies I need to stay alive. Really that was it,” she said.

Rousey said that the public had never seen her moments of vulnerability, and now thinks that maybe it was meant to happen. She also explained the mindset of being undefeated and said that even though she lost in the cage, she didn’t want to be personally defeated.

“Everyone has their moment of picking themselves up off the floor, and I’ve had to before, but nobody’s ever seen me go through that before. Maybe that’s what I’m meant for. I believe I’m still undefeated, because being defeated is a choice. Everyone has losses in their life, but I choose to be undefeated,” an emotional Rousey said.

It’s been well documented that Rousey also lost her father to suicide. You can see Rousey’s comments on Ellen below.

Ronda Rousey Slated To Return In November

UFC President Dana White recently had an interview with BigboyTv where he discussed the future of former Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.

He said Rousey will probably  be making her return to the octagon in November of this year. If Rousey does indeed return in November it’ll be one year after her devastating loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193

White also went on to say that whoever wins at UFC 196 their next title defense will be against a returning Rousey. Whether that’ll be Holly Holm or Miesha Tate remains to be unseen.

Regardless who wins at UFC 196 it’ll be a rematch for Rousey and that alone is the making of an anticipated fight.

UFC News: Rousey Not Fighting At UFC 200, Nick Diaz’s Ban Reduced

UFC President Dana White tells Yahoo Sports that Ronda Rousey has asked for more time off and will not fight at UFC 200 in July.

It was announced that UFC Welterweight Nick Diaz’s 5-year ban has been reduced to 18 months, making Diaz eligible to fight beginning in August. Diaz was suspended in September after testing positive for marijuana metabolites following fight against Anderson Silva at UFC 183 on January 31, 2015.

Holm VS Rousey Rematch Set For UFC 200 On 7/9/16

UFC President Dana White says UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm’s next fight will be against former champion Ronda Rousey. White said that UFC 200 on July 9 has been cleared as the date for the rematch.

Holm’s manager and promoter Lenny Fesquez was wanting Holm’s next fight to be against Meisha Tate in February or march. He doesn’t think Rousey will be ready for a July fight. White says he’s been in constant contact with Rousey and he believes she will be ready for the rematch.

Rousey was placed on a six-month medical suspension after her loss to Holm, with the stipulation that she pass a CT scan to be cleared for her next fight. It’s not known if she’s been cleared yet.
