Ric Flair Claims Big Spots Were Pulled From Women’s HIAC, One “Involved A Moonsault” (AUDIO)

Hell in a Cell is known for it’s death-defying moments … but Ric Flair claims that two big spots were pulled from the first women’s HIAC match this weekend due to WWE officials fearing the outcome.

Flair talked about the match on Busted Open Radio today saying, They took two huge spots out of the match, during the match, because they were afraid Sasha Banks was going to get hurt.”

He continued saying, “If the original plan had been, there were two things and I don’t want to say what they were, but you can only imagine. One of them involved a moonsault.”

Flair recently hinted that Charlotte wanted to do a moonsault off the top of the cell — so it’s hard not to speculate that he’s talking about that.

Did the women’s match meet your expectations for Hell in a Cell? What are your thoughts on women closing a PPV of that nature? Let us know in the comment below.

Former Ring of Honor owner Cary Silkin says he’s going to show up at a local Ric Flair signing in Bethlehem, PA at the Sands Casino on July 23rd to collect the $41,000 he’s owed by The Nature Boy. Flair will be appearing with Ricky Steamboat and participating in a Q&A that day.

Back when Silkin still owned ROH, he sued Flair in January 2010 over $40,000 Flair owed the company after failing to meet requirements for his “ROH Ambassador” role he had been paid for. The lawsuit was dropped in May 2011 when ROH was sold to Sinclair Broadcasting.

Silkin tweeted the following:

The Shocking Line That Was Cut From Smakedown Segment Featuring Ric Flair This Week

Source: Pro Wrestling Sheet

The controversial “kill yourself” line that Ric Flair muttered to Natalya during a SmackDown taping this week will never be seen on TV … because it was axed from the show’s final cut.

Flair’s segment made headlines this week after he dropped the offensive instruction — and the reaction to what he says from both Charlotte and Dean Ambrose is worth watching.

However, viewers with a keen eye noticed the line was cut from Thursday night’s broadcast … instead ending after Flair finishes bragging about his various wins over Bret Hart.

TMZ is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer and current manager Ric Flair had to be treated for a cut on his hand at a Boston airport today. But the report didn’t end there, as some say that after visiting “Lucky’s Lounge,” his behavior became erratic.

Witnesses said Flair seemed inebriated and was acting “like a drunk person.” One witness said “he was having a tough time” and “shambling about.”

Airport Police Sgt. Donlon told TMZ that Flair was NOT intoxicated, and he was allowed to take his flight. Ric Flair’s agent provided the following statement to TMZ:

“Ric has been working every day around the clock, including internationally, for a month straight and has injuries on his hand that were being looked into this morning.””While it is true Ric Flair and his buddies have been keeping airport bars in business since the 70s that was not the case at all in Boston. I just hung up with Ric, he is already on the flight and all is good.”

Charlotte Explains Why She Attacked Becky Lynch (video)

Last night on RAW friends Becky Lynch and WWE Divas Champion Charlotte faced off against each other in what was supposed to be a friendly match. WWE posted the following RAW Fallout video of Charlotte with Ric flair explaining her actions:

Ric Flair says nobody asked him about the Charlotte and Paige segment

WrestlingInc.com is reporting that the nature boy Ric Flair apparently had no idea that the controversial segment that took place between his daughter WWE Divas champion Charlotte and Paige this past Monday was even going to happen.

In a segment that involved Paige making a joke about the passing of Reid Flair, caused a lot of waves and it also brought the hall of famer to tears. Ric mentioned on his Woo  nation podcast that he was never approached about the idea by anyone within the company before the segment took place nor afterwards.

Flair mentioned that his daughter Ashley (Charlotte’s real name) was probably to scared to say a thing. He continued by saying ““Obviously I have an opinion, but I’m afraid to voice it because I don’t want anything to affect Ashley’s career,I know that Hunter and Stephanie and Michael Hayes have her back. I don’t think she feels she’s comfortable enough to say ‘no’ to anything yet, she’s only been up there three-months”

He also states that just because Charlotte is the champion it doesn’t mean she could just say no. They can and will get rid of anyone. He described the situation being like a pressure cooker.  “If you’re asked to do something, that’s pretty much the way things operate up there. Everybody walks on pins and needles. Just because you’re the champ, doesn’t mean you say no. It’s a very sensitive issue, it’s very new. I know her mom is on fire. I’m not going out on a limb to say what I think.”

Flair clearly was unhappy about the situation but also added that he knows Hayes and Hunter would never do anything to intentionally hurt Charlotte. He went on to say “I don’t think it would’ve made a difference. . If they ask you to do something, what is she going to say? ‘No, I quit?,”

He ended by mentioning that he will indeed be in attendance at Survivor Series this Sunday so it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.
