Paige – Detained By Police After MITB, Taken To Hospital For Medical Evaluation

Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed that Paige was taken to the hospital Sunday night after WWE Money In the Bank… and the reason she was pictured in handcuffs is because the wrestler was detained by police shortly beforehand.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department tells us officers were outside of Caesars Palace for an unrelated incident when they were flagged down over a female seen running into the streets.

After authorities caught up with the woman she was quickly detained, and officers determined that she needed to be taken to the hospital for undisclosed reasons.

Sources tell us the woman was Paige, and the photos on Twitter were indeed of the incident, but law enforcement officials say they’re unable to verify the woman’s name due to HIPAA laws.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us no charges were filed against Paige and WWE is currently investigating the matter to see if any disciplinary action will be necessary.

In the meantime, Paige wrestled Charlotte on RAW last night for the Women’s Championship.

Former WWE Divas Champion Paige was not at Raw last night, and hasn’t been on the road with WWE recently.

Paige last competed in 2015, taking on Charlotte and Becky Lynch in a triple threat WWE Divas Championship match on a live event in Rhode Island. Paige hasn’t wrestled on a televised event since her loss at WWE TLC.

Paige has been dealing with a slight concussion, but hopes to return to the ring soon. For the time being, she’s at home in Florida.

Backstage News On Controversial RAW Angle Between Charlotte & Paige

PWInsider reports that the controversial RAW ending with Paige and Divas Champion Charlotte, where Paige took a shot at Charlotte’s late brother Reid Flair, the idea to mention Reid was presented to Charlotte and she was able to give feedback on the angle, in terms of verbiage she would use and the way the angle was being presented.

The original idea reportedly came from something Charlotte mentioned to WWE creative, about how her entire career is a tribute to Reid. some parts of the angle were dropped throughout the day and other parts evolved. Charlotte was not forced into the segment and was given time to prepare to give feedback during the day.

The angle was discussed throughout the day and senior WWE creative members were against it. Some voiced their opinion to Vince McMahon, who ultimately made the call. There’s talk that the angle was actually pulled before RAW went on the air but Vince made the decision to keep it on the show.

WWE issued the following statement:

“Subject matter this personal is only approved as a result of the strong advocacy of the talent themselves. Notwithstanding that, WWE is ultimately responsible for what airs in its programming.”

WWE Divas champion Charlotte makes her match with Paige at Survivor Series official 

 On the November 16th edition of Monday Night Raw the show closed with one of the most intense contract signings in history and what it made it all the more ground breaking is that it involved two women.

Things got pretty personal between the Divas Champion Charlotte and Challanger Paige who will meet each other in the ring this Sunday at Survivor Series.

Antics were questioned and friendship was thrown out the window. However what everyone is taking about today are the comments made about Charlotte’s late brother Reid. During the contact singing Paige said “your baby brother didn’t have much fight in him did he”?

Those comments sent the champion into a rage and an all out brawl broke loose. Charlotte was so upset that she didn’t even get to sign the contract.

Now thanks to Backstage fallout there’s video of the champ signing the contract and the match is now official.

Whether this segment was something you loved or hated one thing is for sure, people are now invested. This match matters and with all of those elements Paige and Charlotte are sure to have a barn burner this Sunday.’

Charlotte’s Mother Rips Controversial Angle On RAW

During the Divas Championship contract signing on RAW, Paige made a controversial comment about Charlotte’s late brother that sparked a brawl between Charlotte & Paige.

During the segment, Charlotte got very emotional referencing her late brother (Reid Flair, who died on March 29, 2013 from an accidental overdose of heroin and prescription drugs), saying Paige was there for her when he died. Charlotte said she is here today because of him to fulfill his dream. Later, Paige insulted his memory in an attempt to rile Charlotte by saying he didn’t have much fight in him. Charlotte then lunged across the table after Paige and then a huge brawl ensued.

Reid and Charlotte’s mother, Elizabeth Fliehr, who is aslo Ric Flair’s ex-wife, was not very happy with the angle. She posted the following on Twitter:

WWE Divas Kicked Out Of Restaurant

According to TMZ, WWE Divas – Paige and Alicia Fox were kicked out of Baltimore’s Supano’s Prime Steakhouse, Seafood, and Past on Sunday night.

Apparently a regular customer began harassing Paige and Alicia for photos and autographs, leading to drinks being thrown between the two sides. TMZ noted that the lady who was harassing them was drunk. This led to the restaurant staff separating the two sides and ejecting them from the establishment.

WWE Changing Name Of Diva Stable

The Diva stable of Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch was recently given the name “The Submission Sorority” but now there are reports that WWE is having to change the name due to there being a porn website with that name.

WWE may be changing the stable name to “The Submission Sisters”, which I think is a better name. When I first heard that they was naming there stable “The Submission Sorority”, I immediately hated that name.

It looks like the stable is currently going by PaigeCharlotteBecky or PCB.

The Miz & Paige Being Written Of TV

The Miz and Paige will start filming for WWE Studios’ Santa’s Little Helper this month, which will be released this Holiday season on Digital HD, Blue-ray and DVD. Both stars will be missing TV while filming the movie.

Paige was written off TV this past Monday after being attacked by Naomi. The Miz is expected to be written of TV this upcoming Monday on RAW with his match against Damien Mizdow with the winner getting the rights to the “Miz” name and likeness.
