Nikki Garcia’s Husband (Artem Chigvintsev) Arrested For Domestic Battery

Dancing With The Stars Pro Artem Chigvintsev was arrested on charges of felony domestic battery. Chigvintsev is the husband of WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia (Nikki Bella).

TMZ is reporting that a representative for the Napa County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that police responded to a domestic violence call in Yountville shortly after 10:00 AM local time on Thursday.

After interviews were conducted, an arrest was made at the scene. It is said that injuries are involved.

At around 8:30 AM PST on Thursday, a call was made from the home of Chigvintsev and his wife, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia (Nikki Bella), to report a “medical emergency.” As of this writing, there is no word on who made the call.

As paramedics and the fire department were en route, someone from the same house called 911 to cancel the request. At that point, paramedics and the fire department returned to their stations.

Police did arrive at the home, as per usual when someone calls 911. At 10:00 AM PST, Artem was arrested for felony corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. For the arrest to be a felony, the injury must be visible.

Additionally, TMZ is reporting that the alleged victim in the case is cooperating with police. It is said that police are interested to know whether there’s a history of domestic violence between the two people involved. The victim in the case has asked for total confidentiality. So while we can’t and won’t name Nikki as the victim, you can draw your own conclusions here.

While the victim has been talking to law enforcement, they are planning follow-up interviews with both sides to see if there is a history of past incidents. Additionally, it is said that a child may have witnessed the incident.

Finally, Chigvintsev posted a $25,000 bail and was released from jail at 2:18 PM PST.

The investigation is still currently ongoing.

Nikki Bella Is Excited To Hear Vader Tell Stories At WWE Hall Of Fame

WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins, Nikki and Brie Bella, took to their YouTube Channel earlier today and gave an update about their WrestleMania 38 status.

According to Nikki, the duo is definitely going to be in Dallas this weekend and they are especially looking forward to the Hall of Fame ceremony.

“So yeah, actually we will be in Dallas because Brie and I will definitely be attending the Hall of Fame this year, which is right after SmackDown on Friday. When The Undertaker is getting inducted, you definitely show up. So, I’m so excited to see The Undertaker to get inducted, to be there in person for it.

“We actually get the opportunity to be there in person. I love that Vince McMahon is inducting him. I just can’t wait to hear the speeches, but it’s the Undertaker so I feel like it’s going to have some really cool production to it.

“Sharmell, congratulations! I am so proud that you are going to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, that is so amazing. Always have loved everything that she’s done. And to think Booker is going to be the one to induct her? Wow, what a night to be a married couple.”

Nikki Bella also took the time to express her excitement for Vader being inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame. It’s important to note that though she says she is excited for Vader to be at The Hall of Fame to tell stories from his career, Vader won’t personally be at the ceremony as he passed away in 2018 at the age of 63.

“And I’m also so excited that the WWE Universe will be welcoming Vader into the Hall of Fame. I always get excited for men of that generation to come to the Hall of Fame because they have the most incredible stories we’ve never heard,” she said. “And I always love when those men take the stage, and the women, and from that era of wrestling that was so iconic and so historic. So I’m really excited for Vader to be inducted into the Hall of Fame and just to have his presence there and hear his speeches.”

Nikki even teases toward the end of the video that The Bellas may even get into a bit of action at this year’s WrestleMania. After making their in-ring return at The Royal Rumble this year, it would be interesting to see if the duo has a longer run in the works.

“As far as action that weekend, well, the world of WWE, things change every day so just keep tuning in for that. And of course, I think we’ll be meeting a lot of you whether it’s virtually, or on panels, you will see Brie and I at some point in Dallas.”

The Bella Twins Reportedly Set For WWE In-Ring Return

This year’s WWE Hall of Fame will feature both the 2020 class and the 2021 class. The Bella Twins are set to inducted as part of the 2020 class, and they may be in store for an in-ring comeback as well.

On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that The Bella Twins are going to return to wrestle. The return date has not been set, but Meltzer noted that the plan is for them to come back in the fall of this year.

The Bella Twins have discussed an in-ring return in the past. They have also expressed their desire to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Nikki Bella recently discussed returning to action on The Bellas Podcast. She also revealed that she has not been cleared for an in-ring return due to her neck injury.

“I really want to do a WWE return with you Brie. I really want to go after the tag titles,” Nikki said (h/t to Digital Spy). “That’s one thing I really want to do before I hang up the Nikes for good. I at least want to do that one last run.

“I guess I have been talking about this run as if I am cleared, which I am not cleared to wrestle.”

The Bella Twins Reveal They Are Both Pregnant

Announced on People.com, Nikki and Brie Bella revealed they are both pregnant, and are each due only a week and a half apart.

Nikki got engaged to be married to her former Dancing With The Stars partner, Artem Chigvintsev, last November in France. This will be her first child.

For Brie, this will be her second child. She and her husband, Daniel Bryan, have a two-year old daughter, Birdie Joe Danielson.

“Wait, twins being pregnant at the same time?” Brie said. “People are going to think that’s a joke. We both are shocked. People are going to think we planned it, but you can’t really plan pregnancy!”

“[It was] a total surprise,” Nikki added. “It took even me a good week to come to terms with like, ‘Oh my gosh, I’m pregnant.’ I’m not ready for it.”

The sisters recalled when each of them realized they were expecting.

“My husband and I were trying for seven or eight months, but then I felt in my heart it was a sign from God, like, ‘You guys are good with one,’ so we stopped trying,” Brie stated. “When we were in France meeting Artem’s family, I felt a little off. I was irritated and uncomfortable in my body. When we got home, I took a test two days before Thanksgiving, and when I saw the positive sign, I was like, ‘Oh, s—!'”

“I was in yoga, and I kept getting this feeling that you need to take a pregnancy test, but I wasn’t even late yet,” Nikki said. “And so I’m like, ‘Why do I keep having this feeling? Am I getting twin vibes from her? Because she just told me she’s pregnant?’ I didn’t tell Artem at this point. I just want to do this by myself. When I came back in, and it said pregnant, I had to sit down for a second.”

Bella Twins Appeared On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Nikki Talks WWE Retirement, Reveals She Has Cyst On Her Brain And Another Herniated Disc

Back in March, Nikki and Brie Bella officially announced their retirement from the wrestling ring. While Brie became a mom, Nikki was working on a comeback following neck surgery. Last wrestling at WWE Evolution in a losing effort to Ronda Rousey, Nikki hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring since.

The Bella Twins were once again guests during last night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, promoting the Bellas Podcast. While also talking about spoiling Game of Thrones to her boyfriend, Nikki went into detail as to why she retired. Around the 3:10 mark, Nikki discussed how Brie had a choice as a mom to retire but she never got that satisfaction.

“For me, I really wanted to go back and fight for the tag titles,” Nikki stated. “I’ve always had my neck issues and after neck surgery, it hasn’t been OK. I feel like I needed to get a checkup before we went back for the tag titles. The results came back and I herniated the disc above where I had surgery, I have all this inflammation around the metal and then I have a cyst on my brain. So they were like, ‘you’re done, no more.’ So I didn’t get a choice, which sucks.”

Both multi-time Women’s Champions, Nikki and Brie debuted in WWE back in 2008. Since then, they have become the stars of Total Divas and Bellas, both of which will soon be returning to TV. They also own a wine business and have created the BirdieBee brand.

In April, Nikki explained how everything in her life was a lot to handle when it came to returning to the ring. She also said anything is possible when it comes to wrestling.

“Having that comeback, filming Total Bellas, running three companies and then fighting Ronda Rousey and beating up my body… I just remember when we were sitting there on our 35th birthday. I just sat there and said to myself that I was done,” Nikki continued. “I started thinking about my health and my age. I need to put more focus on my companies, so honestly, that was the reason why I retired. This is the thing about WWE though; the doors are truly never closed.”

Nikki Bella Announces In-Ring Retirement (Video)

The Bella Twins are officially retired, as Nikki Bella has announced she’s also hanging up her boots and ending her in-ring career.

On the season finale of Total Bellas, Nikki talked to her family about the decision and said her last European tour made her realize it was time to call it quits.

As we previously reported, Brie made the same decision following her run in WWE around Evolution because she wanted to go back to focusing on her family.

The Bella Twins signed with WWE in June 2007. They left the company in 2011, but returned two years later and shortly after Total Divas began airing.

Nikki is a two-time Divas champion and the longest reigning champion to hold that belt.

John Cena And Nikki Bella Said To Be ‘Basically Back Together’

People.com reports that John Cena and Nikki Bella are officially on the road to reconciliation, just over one month after they announced their breakup.

A source told People that “they’re basically back together.”

“They both got a wake-up call once they canceled the wedding, and they both realized they could fix what was broken,” the source told People.

Cena and Nikki admitted in media interviews that they have had some communication but People says they never stopped talking.

“They never stopped talking,” the source told People. “Other than the actual wedding weekend, when they took some space, they have been talking.”

Cena made it clear on NBC’s “Today” show that he wanted to have a family with Nikki and still wanted to marry her. It appears that was what Nikki wanted to hear.

“He has poured his heart out to her, and she was more than ready to take him back once she heard what she needed to hear,” the People source added. “He’s been saying and doing all the right things.”

As seen below, TMZ spotted the couple in San Diego this past weekend, their first appearance together since the split.

John Cena & Nikki Bella Still ‘Spending Nights’ Together

Us Weekly reports that Nikki may be living with Brie and Daniel Bryan but she is still “spending nights” with Cena at his apartment.

“Nikki hasn’t moved out of John’s apartment, even though she very much wanted to after the wedding was called off,” a source told the magazine, adding that Cena “doesn’t want her to have to deal with moving after everything they have been through as a couple.”

People close to Cena and Nikki have noted to Us Weekly that the two “could get back together in a year” and that Nikki is very supportive of Cena but starting a family and having kids is “at odds” with Cena’s attention to his career.

As noted, the breakup and the fallout will be covered on the upcoming Total Bellas & Total Divas seasons.

John Cena And Nikki Bella Have Ended Their Relationship

Despite getting engaged at WrestleMania 34 last year, John Cena and Nikki Bella have confirmed that they recently ended their relationship.

The couple released a joint statement to Us Weekly saying, “While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another.

John and Nikki began dating in 2012. They most recently tagged together during a match that took place in Madison Square Garden last month.

The statement concludes, “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”

Nikki Bella is eliminated on “Dancing with the Stars”

Nikki Bella danced her way into America’s hearts on Monday night, but the Mirror Ball Trophy won’t be hers on Season 25 of “Dancing with the Stars.”

While Nikki scored a season-high 46 points from the judges last week, that score combined with viewer votes still eliminated her from the competition in a shocking double-elimination, where the Superstar was voted out alongside Vanessa Lachey.

Nikki won the hearts of the judges and America on Monday’s Halloween Week episode, however, performing a spooky jive with professional partner Artem Chigvintsev. The dance earned her just a 24, but the audience gave her a standing ovation.
