Maria Kanellis Undergoes Surgery On Her Adrenal Gland, Latest On Her Condition

Maria Kanellis is feeling well after undergoing surgery on her adrenal gland.

Taking to Twitter, Mike Bennett announced that his wife underwent surgery on Wednesday and will be staying overnight at the hospital.

Kanellis underwent surgery for a mass that was found on her gland earlier this year.

Bennett wrote,

“Maria’s surgery went well. She is staying overnight at the hospital for observation and should be released tomorrow. My wife is a badass.

Thank you to everyone who’s reached out. We love y’all so very much.”

Several IMPACT Wrestling Stars Exits The Company

It appears that Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Vincent and Maria Kanellis-Bennett are finished with IMPACT Wrestling are done with the company.

In a segment taped Saturday night, that will air on the Thursday, October 20 episode on AXS TV, Eddie Edwards questioned the loyalty and current efforts of Honor No More. After weeks of being disrespected by the group, PCO snapped and took out Taven, Bennett, Vincent and Edwards.

Following the segment, which will not air on television, Taven, Bennett, Vincent and Maria went back in the ring, acknowledged the crowd, giving the impression that they are done with the company.

According to a report by PWInsider on Sunday the four are believed to be done with IMPACT Wrestling. However, the departures have not been fully confirmed by our sources as of this writing.

After making her return to IMPACT Wrestling this past May, Mia Yim’s contract has expired, with no extension, thus making her a free-agent. After being released from her WWE deal last November 2021, Yim made her surprise return at the Under Siege PPV, where she came out helping out Taya Valkyrie after Deonna Purrazzo attacked her after their match.

Yim lost to Mickie James at last Friday’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view and officially finished up with the company at this past Saturday’s TV tapings.

Yim, is the the real-life wife of AEW star Keith Lee.

Mike Bennett with Maria Kanellis made their WWE debut at Money In The Bank. They’re introduced as Mike and Maria Kanellis. Maria is an ex-WWE talent and they both have recently been with Impact Wrestling and Ring Of Honor before that.

Maria introduces herself, for those of us who don’t know her. Mike introduces himself as Mike Kanellis. Maria says no, we aren’t seeing things… the First Lady is back in WWE. Maria says for the past 7 years she’s been searching for the perfect partner. Mike says and she found him. And now, Maria says they are here to educate everyone on SmackDown the power of love. Their cheesy love song hits again as they dance at the entrance.

Maria Kanellis & Mike Bennett Headed To WWE?

Maria Kanellis is set for a WWE return and her husband Mike Bennett is coming with her, according to a report on Monday by SportsKeeda.com

Mike and Maria are reportedly headed to WWE’s SmackDown brand. PWTorch reported that a return to Impact Wrestling was a possibility but WWE’s offer was more appealing to the couple.

Mike Bennett & Maria Kanellis Are Gone From TNA Impact Wrestling

Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis are no longer with TNA Impact Wrestling, according to PWInsider. Their deals expired in late 2016 and they had been working on per-appearance deals.

TNA officials have been trying to sign the couple to new deals. They reportedly agreed to terms at one point but later informed the company that they would not be re-signing. They will not be working this week’s Impact Wrestling tapings.

Bennett and Kanellis join The Hardy Boys and Drew Galloway as notable talents now gone from the company.

Impact Wrestling News: James Storm Returns, New World Champion, The Miracle, The Dollhouse

Last night on TNA Impact Wrestling’s live debut on POP TV, we saw the return of James Storm, who came out to save Bobby Roode from a beat down by Eric Young and Bram. Storm & Roode has reformed Beer Money:

 

EC3 defeated Matt Hardy in the finals of the World Title Series to become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

 

The Miracle arrived in TNA and it was Mike Bennett with Maria Kanellis. Bennett announces he is here in TNA to save pro wrestling.

 

Awesome Kong made her return. After The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky & Madison Rayne) & Gail Kim defeated The Dollhouse (Jade, Rebel & Marti Bell), Kong came out and attacked The Beautiful People & Gail Kim. Kong has appeared to have joined The Dollhouse.

Two Huge ROH Stars Making TNA Debut In January?

Ring of Honor stars Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis finished up with the company at last night’s TV tapings in Philadelphia. PWInsider reports that the couple and ROH were not able to agree on terms for a new deal.

Their departure was not a real big surprise as people within ROH had been expecting them to leave for some time. This likely means they are done with New Japan Pro Wrestling as well.

Bennett’s partner Matt Taven is signed with ROH through March or April of 2016.

Kanellis and Bennett were reportedly telling people that they will be starting with TNA in January.

Maria Kanellis & Mike Bennett Leaving ROH?

 

Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis and her husband Mike Bennett are currently working with Ring of Honor without contracts because their deals expired. Wrestling Observer reports that both sides have been negotiating for a few months. They will continue to work for ROH and are both scheduled to work tours of Japan this year.

Wrestling Observer reports that there’s a feeling that Kanellis & Bennett will begin talking with TNA and Lucha Underground soon.
